10/10!!! Super fresh ingredients with most being imported from Italy! Bread baked in house too. Tried the Milano which is fried chicken cutlet w/ lettuce, mayo, tomato, fresh mozzarella & olive oil - yum. Came on focaccia which was amazing, light & the perfect crunch. We also tried The Arther Ave & The Buto. The prosciutto on the Arther Ave was top quality, SO good. A must stop if you're in or live around the area, it's going to become your new favorite sandwich spot!!

After trying out the Palm Beach Gardens location, I decided to check out the Deerfield location and it was still amazing! I got the Genoa sandwich this time around and it was overall amazing. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and paired well with the pesto sauce and I fell in love with the mozzarella. The star of the show was of course the focaccia bread! This hole in the wall place is such a hidden gem and I highly recommend anyone to check it out. My only complaint is the service is kind of slow at this location but that did not affect my eating experience here!

Good quality ingredients. Customer service was good & quick. They seem like they run a good business. You can pick seeds or no seeds on your sub. The focaccia is also a Choice. For their catering they say you can ask for anything & they'll make it happen. I'm sure the same applies for your meal. It's a good sub shop.

I am normally the type of girl that orders a cold sub, a LaSpadas fan all the way, and I don't steer from what I know is already great. But with that being said, I heard such fantastic things about What'Sub that I decided to give it a try and veer away from what I would normally get. I ended up getting the Buto, which is a hot sub with a chicken cutlet, pink sauce, pesto and mozzarella. Truly this was a heavenly combination. The bread was seeded, super soft, with a little nice crust on the outside. The pink sauce and pesto worked really well together, they didn't overpower one another or the taste of the mozz and chicken cutlet. There's an insane amount of chicken on this sandwich, so if you are struggling to meet your protein goals, this is the sandwich for you. It also came with a little side of sauce, which is really nice considering I got it to go, and by the time I got home the sauce had seeped into the bread and such. This sandwich will cost you $15, but it can absolutely make two meals. So it's 100% worth it.

Not impressed at all and unfortunately won't be back. As a Jersey girl living in Florida, I was really hoping this place would live up to the hype, especially with all the positive reviews. Sadly, it didn't. The bread was dry, the chicken was bland and overcooked, and I had to ask for extra pesto just to get some flavor. The mozzarella was sparse and nothing tasted fresh. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak, and he barely made it through half -- it was also dry and totally lacking in flavor. Honestly, we've had better subs from Publix. Really disappointed.

Another place I really wanted to try during winter break is What'Sub. This authentic New York style, Italian deli has been heavily featured on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube because they are that good! The food is top notch but so is the friendly service given by owner Antonio Spadaro and staff. What'Sub is located in plaza next to Baja Cafe. It still says Moe's Deli and Grill outside. I stopped by near closing time to pick up something for dinner and I couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. I was even given some cheese to try while I waited. The majority of the meat, and cheese and other sandwich toppings are imported from Italy. They also have a market that sells Italian oil, pasta, jams, balsamic vinegar, meat, and cheese. The inside is not frills but there are a few tables inside and a couple more out front. After consulting the menu I felt like a hot sandwich and I decided on the chicken parm sub. The thin cutlets were cooked perfectly. No chewy, rubber chicken here. With the sauce and thick mozzarella, it was perfection. I was even given extra red sauce to dip my sandwich in. You can also get the sandwich made with meatballs or eggplant. My meal came with a drink and I saw they had Sanpellegrino, an Italian sparkling soda. What'Sub has the tag line seeds or no seeds. I got one of the last rolls of the day so it was seeds for me which was fine. You can't go wrong either way because all of the bread is baked in house. If you do have a preference come earlier in the day because they can sell out of popular items. Antonio recommended I come back to try the focaccia and I will along with the social media popular Arthur Ave sandwich made with prosciutto di parma, arugula, stracciatella, and sundried peppers. They also offer Italian specialties that include arancine alla carne and al burro, meat lasagna, meatballs, pasta, and eggplant tower, salads, and other hot and cold sandwiches. Whatever you pick, you are going to love it!

Back again for a take out order. A couple things I learned. If you get a "call failed" when you try them during business hours, it just means they are super busy and not taking phone orders. Order over their web site or visit in person. As a pesco-veggie, I wanted to try something different off the menu. I expressed some constructive feedback with the manager (owner?) to offer up some more veggie friendly options or substitutes. He said that you can swap out meat with eggplant, peppers, tomatoes etc. Just note the request in the comments box when ordering online. He said they will soon have an app and that will make it easier to make modifications. So if you want a caprese sandwich, you can ask for one. I hope they just add one to their menu to make it even easier. I ordered the mortadella sandwich and swapped the ham with eggplant. It was insanely delicious. The eggplant mixed with the cheese and pesto on their great focaccia bread, this sandwich is a winner for vegetarians. My husband had The Fully Loaded sandwich and said it was made to perfection. The bread here is so good. On a Saturday, this place is quite busy until about 2. That includes the inside tables too. I suggest ordering ahead if in the lunch window.

Bellissimo!!! What a great Italian spot! I'm Italian so let me vouch for this wonderful cafe! The man running the register was kind and helpful in picking our sandwiches. We went with: -the Arthur ave: prosciutto, arugula, straciatella, and a sun dried tomato pepper spread. Their bread was flaky and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. So fresh and delicious and a great portion size! -buto: a warm chicken cutelt, mozzarella, and an outstanding vodka sauce ! Ask for extra sauce on the side! It's such a treat. I love the seeded grinder roll! (Add a little more seasoning to your cutlets, try Italian breadcrumbs) - mini cannolis : with little chocolate chips, yum! Washed it all down with a lemon pelligrino! Can't wait until they expand their market and open up in a larger location! I want to take some straciatella and vodka sauce to-go!

If I could give 10 stars I would. When I voiced my concerns about my first visit I was immediately contacted by the owner apologizing for my negative experience and offered for myself and an additional person to try their sandwiches again. I finally made it back down to Deerfield and was greeted by Rina an exceptional hard working woman who welcomed myself and my partner with open arms and sincere apologies for my previous experience. I got my Arthur Ave on their focaccia bread today. When it arrived to the table the presentation was impressive and just a beautiful sandwich overall. Loaded with prosciutto, stracciatella, sun dried tomatoes and arugula. I have been on a hunt to try and find a sandwich just like the one I had in Italy this summer and this is definitely it! I have already made plans to come back next month and many more times in the future. The texture of the bread was soft with a nice crunchy texture to it. It was a very light bread that didn't make you feel like a rock was sitting in your stomach after you ate it. The prosciutto was sliced perfectly and it was loaded with so much stracciatella it kept falling out of the sandwich. All of the flavors blended so well together. This is definitely my go to spot for an incredible authentic Italian focaccia sandwich. I cannot wait to try more of their amazing creations.

Inside of moe's you will find delicious from scratch Italian cuisine. I tried the fried chicken cutlet with pink sauce and this was the best pink sauce ever. From the looks of the sandwiches I'm definitely coming back to try their steak and cheese. Last but not least the hospitality from Rick was top tier and very welcoming. read more

It's rare to find a proper deli here in South Florida. Being from the northeast, something so commonplace is lacking here. Rich and his crew make you feel like family from the moment you walk in. Like you've left the sunshine state, and briefly return to the Big Apple. Fantastic food, the finest Italian meats, and a complimentary espresso after lunch. If you're a northern transplant, don't pass by What' sub, a good deli here is too far and few between! read more

Wow.....what an amazing find. Rich the owner was so friendly and accommodating. The food is insanely good. I got the Genoa hero and my husband got the Milano. They were both outstanding. So tasty and Super fresh!! All the heroes come with a free drink. And they treat you to cappuccino or espresso on the house as well!!!! Say what!!!! Their homemade bread was insane. Tasted like a hero from Brooklyn. Had a canolli for dessert and it was also delicious!!! So glad we found this place and can't wait to come back to try more dishes. read more

I've searched and found the best Italian sandwich shop in south Florida. This place has hands down the best sandwich's. Everything I've had there is amazing. The porchetta sandwich was the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. They use the best meats and cheeses. The focaccia bread is a big plus. Don't find that just anywhere. And the ppl are amazing. So I came here yesterday for the first time, based on seeing 5 star with 80+ reviews. So I had to try it myself. I walked in was greated nicely and I asked what the "Best" Sandwich is here. I know that is an opinionated question but I was told the "Arthur Ave" is the best so what did I get? The Arthur ave . I ate it in my car and my oh my was that shit gas asf. So I came back today and as a I walked in I met the owner Rich. I then looked over the menu and asked which is better "Philly Cheesesteak " or the "Sausage and pepper". He told me the Sausage and pepper. Let me just say those peppers i don't know where they got that from but they were super flavorful. The restaurant is connected to a cash exchange aswell, if you over look that part the Ambiance inside is really good food is cooked over the counter so you can see them making your food and you can sit and you'll be served your sandwich. Overall 10x better than any sandwich place I've ever been to! I'll be back again tomorrow! read more

Treated myself to lunch today and since my fave Seaside Subs doesn't carry mortadella thought I'd try newcomer neighborhood spot...Spadaro (soon to be renamed what'sub). Located in a strip plaza on Federal Hwy & 13 Ct (formerly knows as Moe's). Parking is easy to get in & out and the store is light, bright & clean with a friendly team. Ordered "The Mortadella" (Mortadella, Stracciatella, Basil pesto spread) on seeded crusty Italian bread. Just what the craving called for...perfect density bread (not so soft it's soggy, not so hard it's inedible), savory & smoky meat, sweet & creamy cheese, salty & herby spread. Definitely enough for two and a beverage was included. They packed me a sample of pastries they're developing which I will enjoy later. We grabbed a few sandwiches for our family for lunch. They were all delicious. Both types of bread were great, chicken cutlets cooked perfectly, and sandwich ingredients all fresh and good quality. We called in our order and it was promptly ready. The owners were friendly and even threw in a delicious box of imported Italian chocolates with our order. Prices were very fair for for the size and quality. They haven't changed their outside sign so don't get confused when you are trying to find them! We highly recommend!! read more

There is nothing better than coming to What'sub!! On top of having the most incredible and authentic Italian...the people who work here have become family to me!!!! Richie and Antonio are just the absolute best. The customer service is like no other. The shop is like walking into Italy. It's clean and have an incredible selection. Breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The deli is to die for! And the Italian shop with authentic Italian gems is the cherry on top. In 1996 John Scinicariello opened John the Baker in Pembroke Pines and now there are a few others in the area. The Pembroke Pines location has been on my radar ever since Dave Portnoy gave it a 7.6. This location is close to home and I now have a new favorite pizza place. Thin crisp crust ordered with John's sauce - fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil and red pepper for the perfect hint of spice and topped with fresh mozzarella and meatball. Chicken Parm was excellent.
