Finally a place where we can say "yes, choose what you want " to my daughter!…read more We found Caring Kitchen about 6 months ago, and have now been a weekly or biweekly frequent of the Rancho store, and occasionally stop by the Orangevale location. My daughter is allergic to everything, soy, dairy, egg, fish & shellfish. She can safely eat out at 4 places, and Caring Kitchen is one of them. We stop by every time there is a birthday party to pick up a cupcake so she can be included with her peers. We stop by for fun, we stop by because everyone deserves to be able to go to a store and say pick what you want. Now, for those of you who are like us and are worried about some cross contamination, Rancho does have nuts and soy. We have never had an issue with cross contamination with soy, everything is clearly labeled, and the team does a great job confirming any allergy's. I would double check depending on your nut severity, but many things seem to be pre-wrapped for this reason. The other location is even more allergy free (nut and soy free). I cannot reccomendation this company more, you will pay for the quality, but also for the safety, amazing taste and everything else that comes with a great bakery.

The entire establishment is gluten free and vegan, so you aren't allowed to bring in outside food (no cross contamination allowed). Gotta keep things safe for those with severe allergies. The other location is GF and vegan and also nut-free. When I just went this last time, I got 3 items and they were all super yummy. 1. Cookie dough loaded cookie 2. Chocolate cake slice 3. Fauxstess cupcake Even if you have zero allergies, come here and support your local small business. I promise you'll love it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything they make. Ana, her family, and staff are some of the hardest-working people you'll meet--always welcoming, always kind. You really feel the warmth and hustle of Armenian culture the moment you walk in. The shop is clean, updated, and full of life. My go-to favorites: gatas, matnakash, cheese croissants, potato piroshki, and their sodas. Wholesome food. Wholesome family. You can truly taste the love in everything they do.

The first time we went, we were greeted by a young gentleman, and he knew English (in teens or early 20s). When I went Sunday, I was helped by a young, middle aged woman. I got here at 5 pm, 1 hour before closing so there wasn't a lot of options, but still good enough to eat. I wanted savory options since I was famished from going to the gym down the street and haven't eaten all day. I looked around and got the Chebureiki, which is like a hot pocket / calzone, but with ground meat only. I will explain how I ended up getting 2 ($6.50 each) of these in a bit. I also got the Lahmajo ($2.50 each), and it's one of the most popular items. It's like a flatbread with ground meat "glued" to the flatbread and you can fold it and eat it like a taco or taquito. This is my favorite. I also got the Zhingyalov hat, which is basically a veggie hot pocket. It was the last one so I thought why not ($8). The last item I got was a Ekler ($3.50), which is like a big cream puff, very light and airy. The lady assisting me was nice. There was a bit of a language barrier, but I was able to get my orders through. She did charge me for 2 of the Chebureiki, which I luckily caught. So instead of having her give me a refund of ($6.50), I just asked her to put another one in my box. This was due to me asking for price and her putting it in the order register to check, but forgot to take it off. Honest mistake. All the food I had was great and flavorful. The Lahmajo is still my favorite and I might just order this moving forward. Overall, great place for on the go foods and great flavor. I would just double check your receipt and items before leaving since there is a slight language barrier. I'll make time to come back.

Although, I didn't check the time and saw that they were closing at six so I called around 545 and asked if they're able to stay in later so I can pay for my drink and I can order on the phone and the person on the phone with me said ' yeah I can stay back till 6:15' . AsI rushed over here, my time went up due to traffic and I let her know that and she said that 'as long as I get in before 6:20 it's gonna be ok' thankfully I got here at 6:18 and as soon as I got in, she handed me my drink, and as I paid for it, she offered me a custard on the house, and I happily took the custard. I told her that I was going to see a movie and that I needed something to drink before I saw the movie and she understood and listen to me as I was talking. Definitely would recommend going here! People are very accommodating to a situation, and like I said, they never disappointed with their drinks and I can't wait to try custard pastry!

T&5 has grab and go pastries, variety of drinks, cakes & even dim sum now! They have good deals for lunch specials. My favorite item they have is their cloud cakes!! They are in the fridge where you can grab a small container. They have different flavors depending on the day. My favorite is the honey yogurt. It's so light and fluffy! Not to sweet either. I also really enjoy their baked bbq pork buns.

I've ordered custom cookies for a birthday, and they turned out better than expected. I was able to give them some ideas and let them get creative with the theme. I've also taken multiple cookie decorating classes, and they make them so fun and approachable. We definitely did a better job than we expected, and since they make the cookies and icing for you they're always delicious. I love the different themes they come up with throughout the year. Some classes can fill up quickly, so check out their social and website for the latest offerings. Sugar Sweetery also pops up at a lot of events, and through these pop ups I've tried cookies, macarons, oatmeal cream pies, cupcakes, cake pops, caramel apples, and more. All the treats they put out are delicious, and I love that they use seasonal ingredients and take inspiration from the kind of pop up they're at. I highly recommend following them on social media for their pop up schedule, class schedule, and latest treat offerings. They've become my go-to spot for decorated sugar cookies.

I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of cakes and specialties, as well as pastries that were available. I chose a bear claw and decided to eat that while I was there, since there was no way to eat that in the car with the powdered sugar, etc., making a mess. They put it on a plate and brought it to me. I also chose a Napoleon and a slice of carrot cake and a peanut butter cookie to take to go. I asked if they had a pick that said happy birthday and she went in the back and found one for me so it was one stop shopping for what I needed. What I was so surprised with was they have crêpes and sandwiches and many items I was unaware of. I definitely will have to come back and try some more and maybe come back for lunch or brunch. The lady was super helpful and friendly. There's nice seating inside if you want to eat your goodies here as well. Located in the shopping center across from Raleys on Fairoaks Boulevard in the same building as the UPS store so if you're taking some Amazon returns back walk down a few doors and check them out! .
