I tried the mini baguette, gluten free, and the brownies. Both delicious. I baked the frozen bread for a few minutes and it was perfect.

I also steal a nacho or five when my wife isn't looking. Bayside is a perfect example of "not all vegan food is salad" (they do have salad tho). The decor is this awesome, eclectic, repurposed Chinese restaurant motif with flair. There's a separate bar area. It's not a sports bar, more like your friendly neighborhood dive, but cleaner. It's normally easy to get seated quickly and servers are attentive, even though they can be a little stretched thin during busier times. Overall, it's a blessing and a curse that I don't live closer. A blessing because I'd spend all my money here and weigh double. A curse because I think I might be okay with that.

Sadly I didn't take any photos of the food. We tried A LOT of dishes on their menu. Nachitos: 5/5 very good! I enjoyed this. Soft pretzels and mustard: 5/5. Buffalo wingz: 2/5 NOT for me! Hated the texture. Tofu Soba: 3/5. HUGE portion. It was ok, sauce is interesting, acidic yet sweet. It doesn't taste great the next day. Lots of Tofu pieces. Fried pickles: 2/5 so greasy and salty. Not for me! Lemon coconut mocktail: 5/5. I had 2 of these, so good and refreshing. Pineapple crush: 2/5 disappointing. Needs to have more bubbles. Dessert was disappointing. I was super excited because they just got a whole fresh delivery of their vegan cakes. We tried one of each and I didn't like any of them to be honest.

Whole place is gluten free and dairy free- no exceptions! This is awesome for me because I can eat anything there and don't need a special menu. They even have 4-5 fake meats that are gf which is impressive. The coconut vegan chicken is really good. They have so many awesome toppings. Don't overlook the zucchini- it cooks into the dish so well. I usually get it in the hot stone dish because I like how it crisps up the rice, but then I have to take it to go because it's a HUGE serving. That amount of protein and veggies for $15 is so iconic. They bring you sauce to the table and you can use as much as you want. So many choices tooo! To go boxes are usually needed, and they make great leftovers. Ample street parking, super kind staff. I seriously always have the best interactions with their staff. Looking out at the water (teeny water view) with a hot bibimbap is good for the soul.

(gotta climb in the Wayback Machine for that gem!) I loved that I saw at least six versions of my childhood dining room table, which felt so nostalgically comfortable that I wanted to crawl under one with my coloring books and my chocolate milk. But I digress -- you're supposed to be reading my review. I decided that I was in the mood for grilled cheese and tomato soup, so that's what I ordered. The tomato soup is really amazing -- so fresh tasting and delicious. But the sandwich was next level nom-ness. I opted to get it on sourdough because it's the best for dunking into the soup. Totes 'lish (I just thought I would type like one of the cool kids!! In conclusion, I want to talk about the service -- ordering was fairly simple, and the varied menu made it exciting to know there are so many choices. You order in line and the incredible wait staff brings the food quite quickly. With the vibe, the service and all the things, I am definitely coming back.

It definitely worked on me - usually specials are relegated to a small corner of the menu, but here they are front and center. I couldn't resist and so I got the Pot Roast Dip. It's a sandwich that has a good amount of pot roast, some bacon jam that's glued together with provolone and Swiss cheese all on a Giuseppe roll (From Macrina Bakery? It's a crust roll). The bacon jam and sandwich dressing makes the sandwich really sweet, but the Angus sauce is very salty, and so when the sandwich is dipped it all balances out interestingly enough. It was good to try, but I think I'll order something else next time. I also got a Mocha latte- very smooth and delicious. I would get this again! Their bathrooms are shared with the rest of the building - the code is at the cashiers. The wifi password is right next to it too. You grab a menu, wait in line to order, and then they bring your food to you. Bus your own table when you're done. Solid spot.

Overall a great taproom vibe with a great menu to pair with the award winning beers. So, you might be asking, after all these years, why a review now? They have achieved the trifecta in the restaurant review tonight. Awesome service. I called in my usual order, the pork and pine and headed there. I don't know who was working the the register, but he is owed accolades for their kindness, authenticity, and general "good vibes" he brought to the experience. Accolades for just that? Yes. Yes. And yes. For those who are skeptics, it really makes a difference and this review is proof of that. Job well done.

My friend moved to downtown Everett last year and is still exploring the area. She told me about…read morethe vegan joint nearby that she hadn't been to yet. We're both omnivores who eat a fair amount of plant-based fare for health reasons (I have allergies and intolerances, she's heeding doctor's advice). To be clear, this is a cafe, not a full blown restaurant. They serve luncheon fare, but it's a small operation so be either patient to don't bother - especially if there's a line. It's counter ordering with payment expected in advance. The tables closest to the window are a *little* harrowing because of the ADA ramp that leads to the door: the closest chairs can teeter down the ramp if the chairs are pushed back too far. Be careful. There are huge, regular, and small tables available. The biggest table is a little tricky to navigate for folks who want to sit in the booth side, but once seated it's quite lovely. I ordered the Pesto Pasta (involving zoodles: zucchini noodles) and a Sun Juice. My friend ordered the Grilled Cheese and Bisque. Please note: it's worth looking around this place while waiting for your food. You can conceivably get your own water, napkins and cutlery if you walk far enough along the counter towards the back of the restaurant. Back there, you may also notice a single-occupancy restroom and bins for bussing your own dishes. The Sun Juice arrived first, freshly blended, and was delicious. If that's what their juice is like, I look forward to exploring their smoothie offerings. My pasta arrived looking BEAUTIFUL on a bed of spinach, and smelled just as good. It tasted a teensy bit more of salt than I would've liked, but then I speared a sun dried tomato with my next bite and remembered that I'm not a food critic, just a happy customer. Although I'm not generally a fan of zoodles, they seemed to have the art of cooking them down pat: they didn't distract from the pesto at all. The bisque had an artful design of (coconut? cashew?) cream on top. My friend was delighted to note that it was a bit of spice to it: nothing challenging, but just enough for her to find comforting. Given the light and airy look of the inside and the rather rustic / flower-child look of the outside, she was not expecting that surprise. She was so impressed with the grilled cheese sandwich that she offered me a bite: we were both quite impressed with the "cheese" they used, as the item was listed as vegan on the menu. My friend kept whining that she's doomed, as they're close to where she lives *and* they deliver. Oh, yeah - poor her, indeed. Alas, alack, and so on.
