Would not recommend, do not order here.
My boyfriend placed a 2-dozen custom cupcake order for my birthday in the beginning of April as a surprise for me.
He filled out the online form on flavors, colors, and designs. As well as a side note about if they have any questions or concerns to please reach out as the design was flexible.
When he went to pick up the order at the agreed upon time, they weren't even open. He was told they hadn't even started frosting them and to come back in a few hours. Later, he picked them up and brought them home and showed me early because of how bad they were.
The wrong flavors, the wrong colors, terrible design, frosting falling off of some, some missing frosting entirely.
It was unacceptable work, especially for the amount paid. I read the website policy that if unsatisfactory within 24 hours bring back the uneaten items to be fixed.
The very next morning he brought them back STILL SEALED and they refused to refrost them or offer a refund. There was arguing from one employee, and another employee took a look at them and even agreed they were poorly done. At that point he didn't want them anymore, and the arguing employee forced him to take them and claimed they couldn't take them back because "you may have poisoned them" (again SEALED boxes of cupcakes). He threw them in the dumpster behind their building.
After hearing this, I reached out to the owner via email with a picture of their store policy and explained the poor work done and even worse behavior from the employees. All we wanted was the cupcakes that were ordered and paid for.
I waited 2 weeks, still didn't hear back. Emailed the owner again, another 2 weeks, still nothing. Reached out on instagram, still nothing.
As this is a newer and local small business this is EXTREMELY disappointing and a very bad look.
If the owner would respond and do the right thing here, I would happily edit and/or remove my review. read more
