Was told to bring in my car to be worked on overnight by their technicians. $800 for all 4 wheel rims if I paid in cash. $1000 if put on a credit card. Had 2 flat tires on same wheel AFTER they supposedly straightened the rims. The only problem BEFORE their work was the slight pull to one side. They refused to honor their work and said they would charge $50 per wheel to recheck. In terms of being "treated kindly" as one reviewer writes, I'd rather have a trustworthy place to get my car fixed then deal with a place like this that smiles while taking your money for a job NOT WELL DONE. read more

I wanted a quote to repair some Acura TL Type S wheels, so I brought them by. To be completely fair these wheels had curb rash on all four wheels, but nothing crazy. I was quoted $200, which I thought was reasonable. Before leaving I clarified that the total repair cost was $200 for all four and not for a single wheel. Surprised to find out that they were quoting per wheel and were purposely vague about the total cost. So the total cost of the repairs would be $800. For reference: I can purchase a new set of wheels for less then $800 new. Used I can get them with new tires. I want to add that I am the Service Manager of an automotive dealer on the Francisco auto row in San Rafael, and I will never use, recommend or forward a customer, supplier or dealer to this business. THEY ARE TRYING TO RIP YOU OFF. I purposely did not identify myself entering the business,as I did not want any preferential treatment. It wasn't there. No Warranty I had all 4 wheels straighten and painted, via Stevens Creek Mercedes, @ $250/wheel - $1000 for all four (mark-up I am sure) After about 1 1/2 yrs, the paint on one wheel, started to delaminate and peel. Stevens Creek initially said the wheels were not painted, just straighten. After 4 emails back and forth, plus photos, (another review for Stevens Creek) they confirmed they sent them out and they were painted. SC has now referred me back to the sub (Wheel Repair Solutions) to deal with the GM - Scott Sousa. I will reach out to Scott and ask for a resolution, though not optimistic. I would caution anyone considering getting their wheels repaired or painted at Wheel Repair Solution. The good news is that the personal is nice, friendly and helpful. However, and this is a monumental however! The quality and workmen ship is atrocious. Heaven forbid you get a flat or need new tires. The paint simply chips of with the slightest touch, peels and even flakes off. For $200 a wheel I expected much better quality and durability. I would recommend buying after market or a used set.
