**** BEWARE OF DISHONEST SERVICE **** I never want to leave any bad reviews, but I want to warn other customers. Deserves a ZERO star! I took my car to Wheel Works after finding a nail in the middle of my tire. I specifically wanted them to inspect it first before doing any work. Sid initially told me the tire looked repairable and that they would check it out. Later, I got a call saying the nail had already been removed and the tire had been patched. At no point was I asked for permission before they did this. When I arrived at the store, I was then told that I needed a brand-new tire, which didn't make sense given what I had been told earlier. The whole experience felt dishonest and unprofessional. The information kept changing, and I was never given the opportunity to approve the work before it was done. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion from another tire shop. After inspecting the tire, they told me there was nothing wrong with it and that I did not need a new tire. Based on my experience, I would recommend being cautious and getting a second opinion before agreeing to any repairs or tire replacements here. TERRIBLE!!! T E R R I B L E customer service from a guy named "Sid." I came in on 03/01 looking for help with my tires since my fiancé, who usually handles these things, is out of town. What I experienced was shocking. Sid was extremely rude and dismissive toward me. As a woman asking for help, I felt completely belittled. He laughed when I said I didn't understand how certain things worked in my car. That is not only unprofessional -- it's disrespectful and unacceptable. Being busy is not an excuse to treat customers poorly. On top of that, the way he spoke to his own employees was uncomfortable to witness. If he is the manager, that behavior is even more concerning. What makes this worse is that after reading past reviews, it seems clear that other customers have had similar experiences and were also referring to him. That says a lot. I am deeply disappointed with the service at this Wheel Works location. I had a scheduled appointment at 8:30 AM, but my car was left sitting for nearly 5 hours without being touched. According to my vehicle tracking system, they didn't even start the car until 12:45 PM. To make matters worse, I was first told the car would be ready by 12:30 PM. When I followed up, the timeline was suddenly pushed back to 1:30 PM. When I checked on the progress, I found out the technicians had completely stopped working on it to go on their lunch break. What is the point of making an early morning appointment if my vehicle is going to be ignored for 5 hours? My entire day and schedule have been completely ruined due to their poor time management and lack of communication. I expected much better professionalism. WW must have an employee rule to try to get the customer to spend as much as possible, with overpriced services. How can they expect someone to pay $600 to replace an air filter and an engine belt? The parts sell online for $100 and it is only about a one hour job. The free alignment is just an attempt to overcharge for other services. read more

I came to Wheel Works Saratoga for a rear tire replacement only. No service was requested or performed on the front wheels. When I picked up my car, I immediately noticed new damage to the front-right wheel and tire. This damage was not present before the service. I reported it on the spot, and the staff inspected the wheel, took photos, and told me it would be escalated. Over the following weeks, I had to make multiple follow-ups, including another in-person visit. The service manager took additional photos and said they would forward everything to the area manager. However, the area manager later denied responsibility and refused to provide any written explanation. After opening a corporate claim and submitting photos, timelines, and the service invoice, Bridgestone/Wheel Works denied the claim with a generic explanation that their machines could not cause this type of damage. This response did not explain how the damage occurred while my car was under their control, especially since the front wheel was not serviced. What's most disappointing is the lack of accountability and transparency after the damage occurred. I called to get my tire checked for a nail, usual PSI is 40 but it was at 20 PSI. Person on the phone said they couldn't accommodate and come back the next day. What I don't understand is... they really can't fit in a quick nail patch? How can I drive back there the next day if my tire will have no air? My experience today. Dropped my 2002 Maxima off for its annual alignment. I generally pay for the $10 check and had one done in June 2025 - no issues. Drop my car off because the previous place closed and got a call - rear passenger wheel bearing bad - complete knuckle replacement - both front LCA's bad - complete replacement. Plus the usual your rotors are warped (anybody check the internet on this one)? My son needs the car this weekened so I okayed the rear bearing and LCAs. I thought I heard $500+$500 and then walked into an $1800 bill. I was told I misheard. Thought I was wrong. Insane that I apologized to the guy for calling him a liar. Not going back. read more

Brought car here to have tires alignment and they could not even align the tires after 3 tries . why would they offer a life time alignment services if they cannot align tires after 3 tries. We bought their life time tire alignment. the new tires wore out inside the tires in the rear tires. they aligned the tires and gave my car back to us with the alignment paper all in the red. which on their paperwork states the car is unsafe to drive and will have improper tire wear. i did not know what i was looking at with the paperwork. i trusted them. it was about 20 minutes till closing time so i left . they did not tell me anything but the man working made a weird face to me as he handed me the alignment paper work. I took the car home and looked at the alignment paper work and it was all red. i took the car back to them 2 days later to have them align the tires again. Same thing happened except this time they fixed some of the toe. but a lot of red again in alignment paper work. so i brought it back a third time and the same thing happened but this time they gave me a paper that stated my car has a control arm that is not adjustable. This made no sense to me. so I took it to another alignment shop and mechanic laughed at what Wheel Works did to me. Needless to say the new mechanic adjusted the alignment in one try. Terrible Customer Service! The people at the front desk are totally incompetent and bad at customer service. I got a flat tire towed to this place because I had replaced my tires there before, I was told that I needed to replace the flat tire, they could not fix it and it was under warranty. I accepted the replacement then they billed me for $335 when i went there to pick up my car telling me that they did not know who told me the tire was under warranty but it was not. Then after seeing my Vehicale come down off the rack and sitting there for 15min I finaly asked if i could get my car they then gave me the key. Dangerous Work and Terrible Follow-Up - Completely Unacceptable I brought my 2011 Honda Pilot to Wheel Works, 18522 Prospect Rd, Saratoga, CA, for strut repairs on July 10, 2025. Less than two weeks later, while returning from a trip to Orange County, the front wheel became completely displaced in a parking lot when stopping for gas due to a missing bolt from the strut assembly -- the very part they had serviced. Thankfully this happened while we were parked, not on the freeway just minutes earlier, where it could have been deadly. I had the car towed by AAA and taken to North Hollywood Honda, where technicians confirmed the issue was caused by a bolt not properly reinstalled. The car has remained in the shop for over a week, and I have been without a vehicle due to what should have been a simple and safe repair. As bad as that was, the follow-up from Wheel Works/Bridgestone Americas, Inc. Headquarters, located at 200 4th Ave. S. Nashville, TN 37201 made it even worse. I initially spoke with someone from their claims department who promised a response within 3-5 business days -- I heard nothing. I left multiple voicemails. I was told by a customer service rep that they'd "tried to reach me," yet there were no missed calls, no emails, and no voicemails. I had to call headquarters myself and escalate the issue to a claims supervisor before any progress was made. Only after a third-party investigation confirmed the store was at fault did they finally approve repairs -- nearly two weeks after the incident. The approval was late, the communication was nonexistent, and the entire situation has been a major disruption that was 100% preventable. I trusted this shop with my safety. That trust was broken. I would strongly urge anyone considering Wheel Works to look elsewhere, especially for anything as critical as suspension or safety-related repairs. read more

Gonna be honest, I've been getting my car serviced here for annual maintenance and other repairs for a while now - should be over 10 years. Visits have been mediocre at best, but I keep coming back because I have a lifetime warranty for tire alignments and rotations, and because it's somewhat convenient. I don't think I can remember a time when I wasn't upcharged a certain amount, given an off quote, or just generally met with an odd/unhelpful attitude. Also, despite appointments, you'll wait hours to have your car back. I've had experiences that have ranged from mechanics putting a huge dent in the side door of my car (and arguing that it wasn't their fault instead of just owning up to and apologizing for it) to just having to meticulously double check every single extra charge that comes up on the receipt. Nothing huge, but straw that broke the camel's back: every time I get my car back, the low tire pressure light comes on almost immediately after I drive out of the lot. Now, I know that this happens when you do a rotation/alignment, but I've taken the car back right away and they've told me that they do complimentary air tire pumping. And I've been sent away, advised to reset the light because everything is fine. But after a while/couple of times happening, it's become a genuine annoyance/feeling of dread whenever that light comes on less than a mile out of the garage and I have to decide whether it truly is an issue that I should check or if I should just pop that button that makes the light magically disappear. And I don't think that this is a normal thing that happens elsewhere. Like clockwork, the light blinked on yesterday after I picked up my car. Now that I live farther away, I don't think I can justify the prices or the service - I'll be taking my business to smaller local businesses that I can build genuine relationships with and will take care of my car. read more

I'd like to share small event. There was no rain for long time. When recently was the rain I discover that after hot summer one viper is broken. Fortunately I had spare viper at home, but I couldn't figure out how to remove the broken one. It was about 3pm and I came to Wheel Works for help. One of advisers spent several minutes tried to remove viper using small screw driver, but he couldn't do it. He sent me to technician. This technician spent few minutes and got job done. They refuse to take any payment because it was tiny job, but it REALLY helped me. read more

Complaint on Wheel Works store #118761, 18522 Prospect Rd, Saratoga, CA 95070 My 2020 Tesla Model X was in their store for suspension noise repair service appt. After 3 days and several pick up delays, the problem was not fixed at all. However, they still charged me $2,935.11 as quoted for the repair even though the noise is still fully staying and problem was not fixed at all. Instead of fixing the suspension, they asked to replace 2 rear tires and charged me a very expensive cost of $987.67 which included a $33.98 Lifetime New Tire Wheel Balance Labor warranty- that I had no knowledge or consent at all. Now I filled an official complaint and am asking for a full refund before further action is taken. read more

Maybe I shouldn't have assumed it was confirmed but the tires were in stock (I sorted by only in stock). When I got to Wheel Works at my scheduled time the person working the counter said he didn't have time to email back and say there were no technicians available. Ok, I'll make a an appointment for tomorrow. Counter person said "Those tires aren't in stock we'll have to order them.". He said the online inventory is always screwed up and that the tires I chose have to be ordered. I went through the same thing a couple years ago. I usually try to schedule maintenance for off times but I had an emergency and had to take the car in on a busy Monday morning. This morning was not only busy, it was unusual. A customer brought in a truck and horse trailer for example. Also, consistent with every tire place, customers with 6 figure cars who live in $3 million dollar homes practically counting change to pay for the maintenance. Don't want to buy $500 tires, don't buy cars that need $500 tires. Thankfully, Sid was running the waiting room and managed to balance all of these things and professionally take care of the car. David DeShazo was working when I came in to get my tire repaired. I work 3 jobs and don't have any free time. He explained that my tread was too low to successfully do a repair. We discussed replacing it. I had recently replaced one tire at this location. He recommended replacing the other 3 and negotiated a deal. My second job is caring for a non-verbal autistic boy. David allowed us to sit in the car and listen to music until they were ready for us. They adjusted their schedule to fit me in earlier than anticipated. The worst experience. I requested a same-day appointment after new tires installation. Their system had shown a time slot at 6 PM(their working hours till 7PM), which I booked. After I got an email that "appointment request is processing". Nothing more. I came here earlier for paperwork, and their manager said that "they hadn't processed my request yet" (after 4 hours) and offered to reschedule for another date. When I was driving to home, they sent me my "appointment confirmation" at 17:56 PM. 4 minutes before the appointment and after they denied in service. read more
