When I arrived at the store, I noticed a sign with my name in a reserved parking area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I pulled into the parking spot, Marco was waiting outside and greeted me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was very impressed by the personalized service and attention to detail. Since it was a busy day, I was grateful not to have to wait in line. My car was even ready a few minutes before the quoted time. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely work with America's Tires again. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for reliable and personalized tire service. During that time, I have purchased numerous sets of tires, entrusted the company with the maintenance of my vehicles, and referred dozens of friends, family members, and business associates. I never imagined I would be writing a review like this. On April 11, 2026, I brought my 2021 Mercedes GLE53 AMG to the Campbell (Hamilton Avenue) location to have two front tires installed. The tires had been purchased from America's Tire in advance, and the appointment was scheduled ahead of time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The employees I interacted with were courteous and professional.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, the technicians were unable to remove the front wheel covers required to complete the installation. After multiple unsuccessful attempts, I was told they could not proceed with the work, and I left with the original tires still on the vehicle. Two days later, I brought the vehicle to Mercedes-Benz of Stevens Creek for unrelated service. I mentioned what had occurred at America's Tire and asked them to look at the wheel covers. Mercedes removed them without difficulty. During the process, they identified damage to the wheel cap assemblies that required replacement before the tires could be installed. Because Mercedes only sells those components as a complete set, the repair cost totaled $1,990.50. What has disappointed me most is not the repair bill. Mechanical work is performed by people, and people occasionally make mistakes. What defines a company is how it responds when a customer believes something has gone wrong. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I immediately notified America's Tire and provided a detailed timeline, photographs, repair documentation, and the Mercedes invoice. Rather than addressing the matter directly, my claim was referred to their third-party insurance administrator.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Over the following weeks, I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve the matter professionally. Despite those efforts, America's Tire declined to accept responsibility, disputed the documented repair costs, and ultimately offered a small "customer service concession" only if I agreed to release the company from all future liability. At that point, I had exhausted every reasonable avenue available to resolve the matter informally. As a result, I have now filed a Small Claims action against America's Tire, where the facts can be reviewed by an impartial judge. This review is not written out of anger. It is written out of genuine disappointment. After years of loyalty and countless referrals, I expected a company with America's Tire's reputation to carefully investigate the facts, stand behind its work, and place the long-term value of a customer relationship ahead of the short-term cost of resolving a claim. Instead, I came away feeling that protecting the company's financial position was more important than earning or maintaining my trust. If someone in America's Tire's leadership happens to read this review, I hope you will take the time to examine how this claim was handled from beginning to end. My purpose in writing this review is not to damage your reputation. It is to encourage accountability. We've gone to America's Tire on Hamilton at this point for decades. After our most recent experience, I'll probably shop around. They've made some big changes -- and not for the good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What I used to like about America's Tire was the helpful, knowledgeable staff that always assisted in choosing the right tire that would provide the best value. Well, that's gone now.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You have to pick your tires out online on your own now and make an appointment for them to install.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So you're probably just as well off buying them anywhere, now. We also used to value their conscientious installation. Gone, too. The car's tire sensor wasn't reset and we had to do that ourselves. They also neglected to put one of the caps on the inflator stem. ([[HIGHLIGHT]]When we called they said "Bring it back sometime and pick one up." -- the wouldn't drop one in the mail for us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]) Finally. One day later, the tire pressure is wonky on at least one of the tires. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After trying by phone several times (they just don't pick up) we got someone who said "yeah, just bring it in and we'll help when we can."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is how you turn a great business into a "meh" business -- and it just feels so sad to see happen. read more

Still my go-to tire place for the last few years. They have a young team, but they're growing up fast. I see improvement in service and professionalism with each visit. I come here for everything tire-related: regular rotations & inspections, installations, air checks, wiper blades, etc. Appointment slots here are more open than other San Jose locations in my experience even though it's a pretty small lot. Park towards the Citti's Florist as you enter to keep the main area open -- cars moving all the time and the entrance is narrow. Service has always been fine -- never waited more than 45 mins for anything. Pricing is competitive with Costco and other places. Tire Rack, Discount Tire, and America's Tire are all the same company in different regions since the 2021 acquisition. With that said, you may find deals exclusive to one website and not the other but they all ship & install interchangeably. We love options. More accessible than Costco Tire Center and I love Costco. Ex. I bought my Michelin All Season Pilot Sport 4s on TireRack.com, had the option to ship & install to this America's Tire, and when they wore out, the AT worker was able to pull up and process the warranty yesterday for credits. Seamless experience. Cons: there have been some misses on more than one occasion of forgetting to check pressure after a rotation, resetting TMPS, etc. I chalk it up to the young staff training up. But they're always nice about it and fix the issue immediately so not a big deal. Just a minor inconvenience at times. read more

First time working with America's Tire to have 4 tires installed for an old Camry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From using their website and then calling to get more information and ordering my tires, it was very easy and the rep very helpful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wanted decent quality tires bit not the most expensive. I had received a quote from a family owned tire place in San Jose and they were $150 more. Their quote did not include protection policy for the tires that I ended up getting at America's Tire. The tires came in the same day from their warehouse and before they closed, I was able to get the tires replace. I will need to do an alignment with my mechanic, but they have someone they recommend for someone that wants an alignment. read more

I also asked about the price of tires for another vehicle, and the guy said he would let me know the cost once the rotation was finished. I needed new tires and wiper blades, so stopped on my way to LA to have them installed. Risky considering my upcoming long drive? Yes, but they do this all day so what could go wrong? The appointment went smoothly, but they notified me that the windshield wiper blades they had couldn't fit my Volvo, so they refunded my bill. Ok. Ofc on my way, now well outside of cell range, my tire pressure lights came on. After contacting them, they had zero resolve, so I was scrambling in the middle of nowhere with a 4 y/o looking for help. Turns out, they never reset the TPMS; a step that is quite practically mandatory before letting someone out the door. With that behind me and 5 hrs into my drive in weather, I attempted to use my windshield wipers, only to discover they were somehow not installed on my car! They apparently took them apart, realized they couldn't do it, and put my originals back on BACKWARDS and disconnected from the fluid tubes. This is so dangerous to leave someone! I'm still an hour from anywhere but managed to locate a dealer an hour before they closed for thanksgiving. Not only did they resolve the blade and tube issues, upon looking under the hood, the aftermarket windshield wiper blade they attempted to install was left on top of my engine! Yes, I drove 400 miles with random parts left on my hot engine. I don't even have words on how this ineptitude not only caused a major inconvenience, but also put me and my toddler in danger. I have been a customer for decades, and gave them the business to price match Costco, but no longer. This is an update to my original review in November. I'm posting this as a warning. I scheduled tire installation after purchasing tires through Tire Rack. They recommended America's Tire for installation and sent the tires there. First, they installed the new tires on the wrong axle. They admitted the mistake and fixed it. When the vehicle was returned to me, I immediately noticed damage while still on site. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Management looked at it, photographed the damage, and a claim was started.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their employee noted no issues on pre-inspection and car had been in America's Tire's exclusive control the entire time. I imagined payment by their insurance to fix the damage would have been the end of it. Instead, it was the beginning of months of frustration. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Rather than stepping up and resolving the issue directly, America's Tire pushed everything to a third party claims administrator.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even after the Better Business Bureau became involved, America's Tire continued to push us to the third-party administrator.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In my experience, the claims administrator acted as both judge and jury and declined to meaningfully address the specific evidence and questions I raised. They refused to take responsibility and offered only a small "goodwill" payment that is only 22% of the repair estimate. The claim remains unresolved 4 months later. I'm not asking you to decide who is telling the truth. I am saying that if your vehicle is damaged at America's Tire, in my experience be prepared for a difficult process and a company that does not stand behind you. I deeply regret using this location and would not trust them with my car again. Been going to America's Tire/Discount Tire for years. When we moved up here I needed a new one. The Stevens Creek one is actually closer but I like this branch better. They are super fast, very professional and all together great to work with. Tire rotations are so fast, usually 30 mins. I tend to walk over to Starbucks/Jamba Juice to wait and end up walking back right after I get my drink they're so fast. Having an Appointment really helps. Parking area in front of the bays is small but there's more parking on the other side of the building. read more
