And the staff folks were very nice. My suv was ready in like an hour or so and I spent the time walking to a fun nearby craft store to browse and buy some fun little items. My ride was all set a few minutes after I returned to Goodyear,, and no last minute surprises- The charge was just as promised. And I was given a sincere and friendly farewell. Came here for a Turo inspection for my BMW 1M and had a really smooth experience. I called around 5 pm, they were nice enough to fit me in, and I arrived around 5:30 pm. There weren't a lot of people there, so the process moved quickly. They got me in and out within about 30 minutes, which I really appreciated. Staff was professional, efficient, and easy to work with. Pricing felt reasonable, and overall it was a hassle-free experience. ~Baited and switched~ I called in one day looking for "rideshare inspection" service, spoke to a gentleman named Jon/John?. He quoted me a price of $30, and I asked him how much for certification for both Uber and Lyft? He told me it would be the same price, he would just be signing off a separate form. I told him I'd rather not leave my vehicle there and just wait an hour or three to get the inspection done, so he told me to call back at 6:30pm that day to check for availability. I called in at 6:30, he told me I would be good to bring it in first thing in the morning. I was assisted by a very patient, professional gentleman, unfortunately, didn't catch his name, but he provided me excellent service. He spoke Spanish also. After the inspections were done, I was told it would be $40. I'm thinking to myself, this is $10 more than I was quote, but that's fine. Unfortunately, he told me I was being charged twice for each inspection. I let him know my story about calling in yesterday, speaking to John, and that John informed me I would be charged that price for both inspections. The gentleman who assisted me spoke with some lady in the back office, presumably the manager, who informed me that they would not be honoring what I was told over the phone by John. I feel #!@$ing baited and switched. There was no reason for me to drive all the way out here if I could've had the same service done anywhere else for an approximately equivalent price in a much shorter duration. From what I have read (I've never had a car inspected for rideshare, before) other places get you in an out super quickly in like 30m. So perhaps they deserve two stars for meticulously and thoroughly inspecting vehicles, but that also feels like a waste of time considering the car was pretty much new from the dealership. read more

A family friend recently took her car in for an oil change, something our friends and family has trusted this Los Gatos location with for many years. After the service, she noticed the check engine light was still on and simply asked if they could take a look and clear it if needed. She was told by Jack Di Giorgio that it would cost $100 just to check the codes and diagnose the issue. Instead, she took the car to O'Reilly Auto Parts, where they checked the codes for free in just a few minutes and determined that the problem was simply a loose gas cap. It was disappointing to see what felt like an attempt to charge a customer for something that turned out to be a very minor issue. Situations like this can make customers feel taken advantage of, especially those who may not be familiar with automotive diagnostics. Based on this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere and would not recommend a company that appears to prioritize unnecessary charges over customer service. I should have written this appreciation sooner, but I wanted to share my wonderful experience at your Goodyear store. About a month ago, hoping someone could help me find windshield wiper blades that would stop skipping. I had already replaced them four times w/no success. I was greeted by Justin,who took the time to listen and understand the issue. He confidently recommended a set he believed would work best for my car, He order them for me, and within two days, Justin personal installed them. Justin was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He new exactly what to do, and I truly appreciated the care he took to make sure the problem was solved. I also had the pleasure of meeting Tom, the manager, and Jerry one of the associates. Everyone was friendly and helpful, making the entire experience very positive. I've been going here for almost 15 years and we bring all our cars here to take care of our tires. I have always found everyone working here, friendly, professional, and fair. They will check the alignment and if it doesn't need it which more times than not it doesn't they won't charge anything or do the work. The only downside and reason not for five stars is they are a very busy shop which means scheduling an appointment sometimes can take a bit, especially if it's an emergency or just reach them on the phone to figure out details can take a bit of back-and-forth. But besides that they are great to work with And highly recommend. read more

She was very informative and took an awesome approach of what my options were. I told her I'd give a call back and did my own research as I was skeptical. Man she really did hit my needs right on the head. Called back a day or so later and got transferred back to Shari and asked when I could get my work done. I dropped my vehicle off the next day and had it back the same day! I was definitely expecting it to take longer. I don't mind forking up the money to people who know what they are talking about. Today, I had a flat tire after leaving work and picking up my daughter from school on a rainy day. After visiting two tire shops where they couldn't help me because it was already a bit late, I arrived at this shop, where the customer service and attention were excellent from the very beginning. Jerry and Tom were extremely courteous and kind. Without hesitation, they assured me they could help and told me not to worry. While I was there, they even offered me coffee and gave my daughter and me some cookies. I know its been a few years since my last review. I've had a chance to talk with Tom about the issues we've been having and I appreciate the fact he did not make excuses for any of it. He accepted the issues and promised to work on them and went out of his way to rectify the issue of the broken studs due to loose lug nuts and resolve all repairs necessary to repair the issue. I truly believe Tom is the one that holds that place together and appreciates his honesty. I've never had an issue when dealing with him directly. It's gonna take me a bit to learn to trust the others. Recently Tom took care of another task for me and it was done on time as promised without any issues. Thank you. Unfortunately I can't recommend this place. $1,400 for new tires for my 2016 Mazda and new brakes. My brakes were only a year old but they said brakes need to be replaced annually... I've never heard that before. My car was there two days and I didn't hear anything the first day. When they called the second day they said they couldn't replicate the noise and so it had just been sitting there. They tried again and they were able to hear it and then diagnosed the brakes. They're friendly, but I don't feel good about the price. Over $100 to "diagnose" and $600 for labor ... I was shocked when I got the bill and will not be going here again. Way too pricey and other shops are more affordable, straightforward, prompt, and honest. read more

Dropped off my car here at 12 pm to have my brakes checked and fixed, air filter replaced, and corrosion fixed. I made an appointment 5 days ago. No problem they said! I call in at 5:30 pm and ask about my car. "Let me put you on hold" they said. I wait 10 mins on hold, hang up call again. That's when I found out they had done NO work - my car had not been touched for 6 HOURS. They didn't even call me to give me this info. Come here if you want to waste your Saturday away. We were heading home from SC and driving down the SC mountains when we noticed the brakes on our car started shuddering so bad it was shaking our car and smelled like burning brakes. I turned to Yelp for the closest brake repair shop with good reviews. This Goodyear shop was 10 minutes away. I called and spoke to Tom, described our situation and he gave me a quick run down of the inspection they would do and estimated cost. Once we got there (at 1pm on a Friday) we were greeted by the sweetest man (Jack) who was finishing up with another customer. Before he could finish, a woman (I can't remember her name, so sorry!) stepped in to help us. I gave her the run down and she got the car in quickly. After about 20 mins, Tom came to let us know that one of our rotors was warped. He ordered us some better quality rotors since my husband commutes and had them Ubered over within 30 mins! We went and had a late lunch next store at the burger joint and came back to relax in their nice cool waiting room until about 3:30ish when our car was finished. Everyone was so kind the entire time on top of the fact that they communicated things so well. I truly wish this shop was closer to where we live because we would definitely come back. Thank you all for making our experience so great even though the reason we had to come in wasn't what we wanted to deal with, we truly appreciate everyone's kindness and hardwork there. read more

They let us down, on a very important trip/day. We were about to leave for an 11 hour drive to drop our son off at college when we found a nail in the tire. We called up Goodyear in Los Gatos and they said if we brought the car in right away, they had three guys starting at 10am and could do it then. We were there at about 8:45, and left the car. I was getting worried at noon so I called and was promised that we were next and it would take 30 min. We went over there at 12:30 and found that they hadn't started working on the car. And only then, did they look at it more closely and told us that they don't have the tire in stock and couldn't repair it that same day. We were shocked at their incompetence and lack of care for their customers that they let us wait 4 hours when they knew we had an important long trip to take that day. Don't trust them. read more

Service has degraded. After 40 years as customers we will be taking our tire needs elsewhere. A couple of months ago I brought our car in for a nail in the tire. It was completed 4 hours later. Recently, I brought our car in for another nail in the tire. I was told it would be ready in a few hours. 7 hours later it was not complete. When I called, I was told "someone had called". My phone indicated no one called. I was told "maybe they dialed the wrong number". No apology. This facility is too small, too busy, and does not have enough employees to take care of customer needs in a timely manner. People are busy with work and need their cars sooner than 8 hours later. Tom, don't bother replying to this thread with "I'm sorry we did not meet your excptations" unless you can provide a concrete solution to the issues I have provided. read more

I came here for new tires & installation. The staff were nice however, after my car was done, at higher speeds it was extremely shaky and scary to drive. I came back and they balanced the wheels for free which resolved the issue. I don't understand why it wasn't balanced the first time.
