Doesn't even compare to Subway lol. I had door dash bring it, so I'm not sure about the decor or service. I think the decor would have something to do with football since they're partnered up with the NFL. Great food at great prices. A definite must try. I'm sure any of there sandwiches would be as good as the turkey with provolone.

Looking at the establishment, the OPEN sign was not lit and I didn't see any patrons nor employees. So I sat in the parking lot to look on Yelp and make sure of their hours. I know that all JM locations are open to 9pm, why should this one be different? After checking the hours, I eventually walked up, expecting them to be closed. However, the door was unlocked so I went in. I saw one staff member cleaning and everyone else was in the back. After a minute or two, a young girl came out and greeted me. I asked if they were open and she said they were. I mentioned that the OPEN sign was off. She said they turn it off early because they clean. She then called for someone that could use the slicer and make me a sub. I was served by Brian and when I mentioned that this was my first time at this location and I am from the Point Pleasant area in New Jersey (and I've been going to JM locations for over 30 years), that I would have high expectations. He apologized for the condition of the store since everyone was cleaning up. He was friendly and speedy. After reading several reviews, it appears that this location does not live up to the JM standards. I'd have given five stars but the OPEN sign made it an inconvenience.

If you didn't know…read moreit was sitting there you really wouldn't know it was there because the signs are not that big. This market is located in the industrial neighborhood. We stopped on our way home from a Birthday party at Putter's on highway 99 the other day. We had left over pizza, so we wanted some soda to go with the left overs. We don't keep soda stocked in the house. I was surprised the market was open because they seem to only be open on very limited hours. I don't think they are open on Sundays. I was kind of excited to stop because we had not stopped in, in a while. They usually have these cookies that I make that I have not made in a long time called hot cocoa cookies. They are chocolate crinkles cookies basically, with marshmallows on top, and a chocolate frosting. They are usually very good. We didn't get cake at the party, so I was looking forward to the cookie. Well we got it home and took a bite...it tasted as if it was days old! It was nasty! I was so pissed! I did not even take any more bites! How can they let that sit there for days like that? I make these, and know what they feel, and taste like after a week! It was foul! My guy said he has been in there and was hesitant on even grabbing the cookies because he has seen flies several at a time in food cases. That about made me want to vomit after he told me that. I hope this place picks up their standards, because I used to like to stop in. I used to like to be able to get simple pleasures that I didn't have to make at home. But now...I am not so sure. Quicky mart just for drinks it is!

They opened a second location in what is now the ARBY'S on West 11th. Their bread was fresh and soft and withstood the topping piled onto their sandwiches. It was heaven and a sandwich was good to get you through two meals. Then they disappeared. Today my wife brought me home a sandwich from Subshop and it hit all the right notes! Fresh baked bread with a great flavor and structure that held together. I had the turkey sandwich and added avocado and bacon. They were very generous with both. Every bite had all of the ingredients and flavors and was perfectly balanced. While this was my first experience with Subshop it won't be my last!

That's what I was going to order so I left. I recently gave them another shot and what a regret that was. Came in and the owners and their entire family were there ripping bags of chips, using foul language, talking about personal subjects not appropriate for a restaurant, etc. I felt like I was in their living room rather than a restaurant. Also, one of them kept on going in and out of the front door every 1-2 minutes wearing a hoody in a way that made me nervous like I need to keep a watchful eye. He was constantly engaging with all the "off" street people and even invited a homeless person inside to go through the garbage to collect recycling. All the while the owners are all there, chilling with their family, and not really caring about cultivating a comfortable environment for their dine in customers, I had enough. To add insult to injury, they got our order wrong. I got up, left, and will NEVER come back again. The worst dining experience of my life

From the moment we walked in, we loved the classic brewery vibe--laid-back, welcoming, and super clean. The food, drinks, and service were all genuinely fantastic. I was honestly shocked that it was so empty on a Sunday afternoon because this spot deserves to be packed. It's the perfect place to enjoy a drink, hang out, and grab some really delicious food. The nachos were SO GOOD--we nearly polished off the entire plate without even trying. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the potato soup were both incredibly comforting, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving. One of the sweetest touches was when we asked the owner if she had any cards, and she actually loaned us a deck of UNO to play while we hung out. Such a small gesture, but it made the experience feel so personal and homey. Overall, I had such a wonderful time here and would absolutely come back next time I'm in town. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food, great drinks, and a genuinely great atmosphere!
