Super cute bakery with consistently good desserts! Cupcakes and cakes are always moist, not overly sweet with thick frosting. Pastries always tasted fresh and good. I want to preface this by saying I love their cupcakes and everything else they offer but my recent custom cake order was truly disappointing. I ordered a mango custom cake with 2D design with cats I got something that was not what I wanted at all. See pics for inspiration and what I got. They also forgot to write "Happy birthday X". I was told to pick it up day of at 2:30 and when I got there it was not ready and told me to come back at 5. I do not live close so this was frustrating. I called before I left to ensure it would be ready by 5 and after a 10 min hold they said maybe by 5:15. I've ordered a custom cake before and it turned out well. This was not at all anything like the cakes they have on their Instagram. I won't order cakes here again. read more

The bakery is very pretty inside and a good spot to relax or study. Great assortment of macarons and cupcakes. Everything looks freshly made and the baker notes that she uses low sugar and fats. Presentation of desserts are cute and unique! My favorite to get are the creme brûlée and the honey lavender macarons. I'm not a macaron person at all but these were gorgeous. They look crazy but once you bite into one you'll be alarmed by how cloud-like they are. Just a touch of sweetness because it's a Korean café, a dozen flavours (lemon, matcha and speculoos were my fave), & fantastic (proper strong) iced Americano. really helpful man behind the counter. I'm from California and when I visit family in Texas I always always make a point to come to whipped, my favorite Korean bakery. The desserts are all phenomenal. Cupcakes are moist and not overly sweet, well balanced... fatcarons have the perfect chew. Perfectly sweetened whipped cream in everything... bring a lactaid. If you forget one, it's worth it. What an absolute gem! I got four different cupcakes and a egg custard scone. Everything was so delicious. Tiramisu and tres leches was my favorite. The cupcakes are so soft and moist and have just the right amount of sweetness. The whipped cream frosting is so much better than the buttercream icing usually put on cupcakes. We've been going to Whipped for a little over a year now. It's such a cute little place. Love the magical interior. These are some of the best macarons in the area. However, I hate the amount of filling. It's absurd and so overpowering that it takes away from the quality of the shell. I understand that some people like the overstuffed tweak on these cookies, but I wish there was an option for regular macarons in addition fatcarons. As it stands, I have to carve 50% of the filling out when I get home, which makes a bit of a mess. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because we come here exclusively for the macarons (though we always grab other treats) and the amount of filling is annoying and unnecessary. The macarons are unique enough by the fact that they are done very well (and most others in the surrounding areas are not). They don't need this to stand out. Moving on! The cupcakes are delicious and moist and so aesthetically pleasing. They are the most picture perfect, cute cupcakes. It boosts the eating experience for sure. I've yet to have one that wasn't a treat totally worth the calories. The service is getting better and more personable. It could still use some improvements but has gotten so much better over the past year. All in all, Whipped is a great place that has some spectacular products.
