Ordered a cake to celebrate an employee's accomplishment, and it not only tasted amazing, the pricing was reasonable, and they had it ready exactly when they said they would. The fatcaroons are very tasty, and the café itself is adorable. I want to bring my friends who are into lolita fashion here for a thematic tea party in big dresses with fancy hair. The drinks are good too, but it was real slow to get them; it took almost twenty minutes to get my decaf Snickerdoodle latte, and even longer for the two vanilla babyccinos (basically hot chocolate) we ordered. There was no one ordering drinks ahead of us, and there were four drinks total in our order. Thirty minutes for coffee and hot chocolate is a bit more than even I can excuse on account of new staff/trainees (the gal on the register seemed new; she had trouble answering our questions about menu items, and pulled out a binder to consult instructions on how to make the drinks. There were two other gals working, one of whom looked like she was on macaron-making/packaging duty, and the other who was helping take orders by getting the bakery items; it seemed like it took them a while to notice the first gal needed help with our order). Also, the babycchinos were supposed to have sprinkles, so I assumed they'd be topped with whip cream or foam or something (y'know, to keep the sprinkles from sinking to the bottom of the cup?) I purchased six cupcakes for a friend's birthday - 3 lemon and 3 red velvet. I almost didn't get the lemon as they seemed to be out, but they quickly put together three more just for me, which I really appreciated. I was purchasing several days in advance of our get together so I froze the cupcakes to keep them fresh. They defrosted well and tasted amazing. I can only imagine how delicious they are when consumed immediately post purchase. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors. read more

Absolutely amazing. Have been going here for a couple months now and not one single bad thing has came out of it. The baked goods are phenomenal, moist, and never too sweet. The coffee is never burnt and always made to perfection. Genuinely one of my favourite places to get any sort of cupcake, creme brûlée, or macarons. I usually get a cheap grocery store cake for my birthday, or else I bake it myself. This year, I felt like I deserved something GOOD, and I didn't have time to bake. Wow. Not only did I get a delicious cake, but I got the prettiest cake I've ever seen! It was so tasty and not overly sweet, which was such a delightful change from most store bought cakes. The frosting was light and airy, with just the right amount of flavor and sweetness. I got a strawberry shortcake. The strawberries were fresh and lovely. While I was there, I also bought two cupcakes: Tiramisu and carrot cake. Both were delicious. the tiramisu was rich, but again, not overly sweet. Seriously some of the best cake I've ever eaten. Not sure how anyone can have a bad experience. It's our go to weekly for pastries, coffee and ordering cakes. The cupcakes and pastries never disappoint. I came in at 1 PM with an emergency that it was my son's birthday and a previous baker canceled. She made him his favorite tiramisu cake and I picked it up in four hours. We have never been here before, but I am so glad we finally went. The fatcaroons, banana pudding, strawberry cookie choux, and honey lavendar latte was DELICIOUS!!! The ambiance is very laid back and I loved the sitting areas. It's great for small groups or a little more. We had 5 people and had plenty of space to sit together. (We don't care how much it was, but if the taste is not right, we just stop eating and throw it away.) We love bread so we tried multiple bakeries that has 4.5+ stars, but we usually tried few times and didn't go back. So, since I didn't wanna waste money, I ordered only few scones and few fatcarons to see the taste. Now, we cannot go anywhere but her bakery. I appreciate she opened the bakery with this high quality bread and desserts! Too bad that I don't have all the pictures, but we tried: Milk, mocha, chocolate, strawberry jam and orange jam roll cake, creamy milk cake, plain and jalapeno bacon scones(perfect for breakfast!!), cookie choux, almost all taste of fatcarons, and puddings. All those orders had been placed last five weeks and we LOVED everything. We gonna have Christmas dinner with my family and my sister told me that she ordered a cake. The cookie was like a scone cookie and the scone was like a filled muffin, both yummy warmed up. The specialty coffee was espresso goodness. Tipped them nicely,, We were the only in the cafe, and when our order was ready they called out our name to come get our order at the counter,, really,, we're right there at the 1st table!! A sweet little cafe in the heart of Leander, this adorable place was a host to a wondrous amount of delicious treats. From fatcarons to cupcakes, every single delicacy is obviously teeming with love and care. The fatcarons were fantastic - the macarons were high-quality & filling were so wonderfully sumptuous, it's a lot like biting into a cloud of sweet goodness. The blueberry yogurt cupcake was ridiculously good, and my husband and I have been to Paris! It was moist, well-balanced and just wonderfully made. The only thing that would have made it more perfect was maybe a blueberry jelly piped in the middle. The other cupcakes were also delicious but wasn't our favorite. My brother and I decided dessert before dinner and stopped here on a whim. The pictures looked really good. My brother was in and out quickly. He came back with beautiful cupcakes, something you'd only see on tv and never in a bakery so when I saw them, all I could say was wow! He got opposite flavors - Black Forest and a raspberry pistachio. I always try chocolate first and dove right in. Pretty good! We had no forks so we were using our fingers. I bit into mine and it completely fell apart. It got messy really fast. My brother did the same. It fell apart. We decided to just share by taking pieces. The pistachio was incredible. It seems rare to find a place that gives you that much whipped cream and also full of flavor. We tasted the pistachios in every bite and also raspberry though it tasted more like cherry somehow. Though I'm a chocolate fan, this one was my favorite. These cupcakes are full of flavor, moist, and what dreams are made of. I want to go back to try more! My only complaint is how they fall apart. It won't make it easy at a party or anything or a quick dessert in the car and if you're trying to hide the evidence of sweetness from anyone in your life, be prepared with a dark and several napkins or wipes. read more

Stopped by with my girlfriend one weekday afternoon and got two cupcakes (I got strawberry, she got carrot cake) and a macaroon (strawberry) to share. BRUH. They were so good we had to go back the next week for more. (The ones the next week were not as good, but maybe we were just so quaked by our first visit that the second one didn't slap us as hard, y'know?) I would absolutely recommend the strawberry cupcake and the strawberry or classic whipped macaron. I'm a basic kind of gal and the classics paid off well here. The cupcakes themselves are moist, and the frosting - which is creamy and highly whipped, presumably the point of the whole shindig - is so airy and subtly sweet that it was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. Never had I had a refreshing cupcake until I visited Whipped! Sad I didn't take a photo, but when I saw the cupcake my jaw unhinged like an anaconda and before I knew it it was gone. We drove an hour from Austin to try this bakery out and we weren't disappointed. It's such a cute space and nice environment. The display cases were full and looked delicious. We tried the tres leches and tiramisu cupcakes and they were good! The tres leches was a good amount of moist and very flavorful. We also got a few macarons and you need to try the crème brûlée one. It was amazing and I usually don't like macarons, but this one was incredible. The person behind the counter was very sweet and patient while we looked at everything. It's also nice that they stay open so late! We were a little sad they didn't have the bear macarons, but we'll be back!! read more

I want to preface this by saying I love their cupcakes and everything else they offer but my recent custom cake order was truly disappointing. I ordered a mango custom cake with 2D design with cats I got something that was not what I wanted at all. See pics for inspiration and what I got. They also forgot to write "Happy birthday X". I was told to pick it up day of at 2:30 and when I got there it was not ready and told me to come back at 5. I do not live close so this was frustrating. I called before I left to ensure it would be ready by 5 and after a 10 min hold they said maybe by 5:15. I've ordered a custom cake before and it turned out well. This was not at all anything like the cakes they have on their Instagram. I won't order cakes here again. read more

So good I came back two more times the same week! True to its name, the highlight is the whipped cream filling in many of their desserts. So light and not too sweet -- you can eat all of it without ever feeling like it's too sweet. What I've tried, in order of favorite to least: Fatcaron - This is their signature item, in my opinion. Usually, I really don't like eating macarons. So I was skeptical when I tried this at first. But their whipped filling is amazing. We like to cut ours in half and eat it open-faced. My favorite flavors are the stronger ones, salted caramel and green tea. I also like the lighter milky cream (reminiscent of shaved ice according to the owner) and mint chocolate (not quite as minty as we had been expecting but still delicious). We have also tried strawberry and raspberry chocolate. My personal preference is for the fatcarons that do not have the crumbly topping on the outside (strawberry, oreo, mint chocolate) because it messes with me texture-wise, even though it looks prettier. But no one else in my family cared about that. Cookie Choux - I almost don't want to post about this because then there won't be any left for me :P But this thing is amazing! Like a giant cream puff with a fresh crusty outer and that amazing whipped cream inside. I had a chocolate one and meant to share it with my family before eating it all. Sorry, kids. And there's no going back to Costco creampuffs after this. In my opinion, it's better than the Beard Papa creampuffs (which are still good...but this pastry is crispier on the outside). Cupcake - We tried their Lemon cupcakes, and my girls declared it their favorite thing ever. It's got more of a dense, yogurt-y feel (not yogurt, but the way cake tastes when you bake with yogurt if you're a baker), and it's not very sweet. With the whipped icing, it's so light and makes you feel like you could eat 2 and not feel guilty. Personally, I still like my cupcakes a little fluffier, so it won't be my go-to. Scone - I hope they can improve on this. In my opinion, the scone was a little too buttery on the outside, leading to it feeling kind of overly crispy, and it was also too salty for my taste. I would love to find a British-style scone somewhere + some clotted cream. Definitely recommend this place! Follow them on instagram for updates on what they're baking that day! But go with an open mind. They do small batches and sell out of particular items often. read more

The bakery is very pretty inside and a good spot to relax or study. Great assortment of macarons and cupcakes. Everything looks freshly made and the baker notes that she uses low sugar and fats. Presentation of desserts are cute and unique! My favorite to get are the creme brûlée and the honey lavender macarons.
