It's tucked away in a shopping center with a Mediterranean restaurant next door . Look for the restaurant when you arrive because it's a little hard to find. I would have preferred not to be served in plastic, but did enjoy what I ordered very much. It's a very pleasant environment and the music was so lovely it evoked emotions I didn't know I was burying. Very pleasant place to enjoy a dessert and delicious cup of coffee too.

Update: Adding photos of the other items purchased which I haven't tried. Didn't get a pic of the Napoleon before it was gone. Absolutely delish! The Napoleon was simply divine...if you are imagining a snooty tone in my voice, you would be correct. It was so legit that I felt like eating with my pinky up with my fork. Not because I was drinking tea but because this place took me to a past life or something. IT WAS THAT GOOD. Also the pressed coffee was tasty. Rush hour traffic was no problem when sipping on that freshness. Very Very PRISTINE CLEAN shop...I LOVE That!! I can't wait to get back and try more!!

My new favorite neighbor dessert spot I only got one photo, but the three patisseries I got were all amazing. Next time I'm grabbing a box of Persian baklava because it looked amazing. Mouse cake and eclair were amazing. Can't wait to try more of these goodies. They also gave espresso if you need that, I usually do. Highly Recommend

So anyone else suddenly get an insane sweet tooth craving? I had one of those cravings last week, and came across Elisa Pastry. OH. MY. GAWD. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. The tiramisu tasted as if it had been brought straight from Italy, and the strawberry roll was refreshing and light. We also tried the chocolate mousse cake, and it was light, fluffy, and straight decadence. That one random DoorDash order turned us into life long customers.

The pastries and cakes were very good and the service was top notch. Enjoyed it will definitely be back when I visit Austin.

If you have a sweet tooth for cake this is a great place! The cake is fresh and full of flavor. The cake if moist and the icing is tastefully delightful. The strawberry swirl cake was especially delightful and reminds me of strawberry shortcake. The carrot cake has a rich delicious cream frosting. Definitely recommended for meeting anyone's sweet tooth!

Macrons were soggy. They're not supposed to be soggy. The baklava was dripping oil. Just not for me.

"I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream"...so the saying goes. I decided to meet a friend that lives downtown Austin for some ice cream at the The Baked Bear, a frequent hang out spot for her and my first visit. The Baked Bear is located in the Seaholm complex between Cesar Chavez and 3rd Streets near West Avenue. After a couple of samples, I decided on Blackberry Crumble. Our server was so sweet and kind including suggesting some of the shop's favorites. OMG the ice cream was so smooth...so flavorful...so absolutely delicious to eat. Interestingly, the ice cream was reasonably priced. It was great cooling off and enjoying catching up with my friend.

I prefer the mini but they're sold out a lot which shows you how spectacular this place is. My go to is the nutty valentine. The donut is always warm, fresh, and crispy. And the toppings of Nutella, cinnamon, and strawberries adds dimension & the perfect story. There is plenty of patio seating and lots of parking outside. There can be a line on the weekends and they tend to sell out so keep that in mind. The staff is friendly and service is quick!

When we went our choices were $9-$10 donut base desserts. I say base because the toppings cover up the donut visually. Despite that, there's no covering that scrumptious taste and texture. Wowaweea. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. Side notes: Gourdough sits on a corner with parking spots that are not free. There's a pay via QR code so you'll need a phone or something to scan that. Boo for digital shackles. Next note- I feel like this is a low key meet up spot. Like the way they tried to make the first train cars on the MTA the singles car? There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows. With the little IG ready love seats and doughnuts made for sharing, you could walk away with extra sugar.

Even so, the ambience seems like the decorations were cute, but very cheap and damaged overtime with little to no repairs. But I didn't come here for aesthetics. I came here for great Boba tea and sweet treats. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed.

The cheesecake shop is located on N. Lamar in Crescent Plaza and focuses on takeout rather than dine-in service. I ordered their signature Japanese cheesecake, and it was delicious. Unlike traditional dense cheesecake, it was incredibly light, fluffy, and airy, with just the right amount of sweetness. The cheesecake featured a thin, creamy top layer that paired nicely with the soft, cloud-like texture underneath. Each bite melted in my mouth, making it unlike any cheesecake I have had before. It was both unique and completely satisfying. The shop itself is small and designed primarily for grab-and-go customers, with no seating area available.
