A lot of flans can be a sugar bomb, but this one felt much more balanced. The cafe itself was clean, comfortable, and a nice place to sit for a coffee, pastry, or meeting. They use high quality matcha powder (Marukyu Koyamaen) for their drinks. This is one of the few things that drew me into their cafe. The baristas are extremely friendly and have a wonderful sense of humor, AND they support small businesses! While you wait for your order, you can browse their shelf full of crystal candies, matcha sets, candles, and they may also have Natsume matcha tins available! The macaron itself was superb. It was not overly sweet, the crunch of the bottom and top were perfect and it definitely melted in your mouth as you savor the taste. My milk tea again I'm a person that enjoys the taste of the tea and the black tea definitely came through which I was really happy about.
