Best Wedding Cake ever!!! Thank you so much!!!Loved everything about it!!!

Best Wedding Cake ever!!! Absolutely Beautiful and Elegant!!! So Delicious!!! Thank you Lisa!!!

2 white cake layers with lemon cream, passion fruit mousse, and chocolate cake with salted caramel ganache!

Lisa is amazing! We booked our wedding on ridiculously short notice and Lisa did a phenomenal job. We were so blown away by everything from the presentation at the tasting to the tiny details like our preferred cake-to-frosting ratio. Every single flavor we tried at the tasting was outstanding. We ended up getting three different cake flavors because we couldn't just pick one. Additionally, Lisa's cost was a lot more affordable than some other bakeries. While she absolutely won us over with her great tasting cake, the great price sealed the deal. Thanks so much Lisa!!!

The cake Lisa created for our wedding was incredible. We had a few guests say that it was the best cake they had ever had (really!). The Cafe Ole, Lemon Poppy Royale and "Karat" Cake flavors were absolutely devine. The three-tier, ivory buttercream cake was exquisitely decorated, even better than I had requested! The flowers were just gorgeous, and perfectly placed. We had asked she use a silver cake stand we had purchased locally, and she had no problems doing so (no extra charges, either). Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Fleur de Lisa Cakes! First off they are the nicest people on earth! Super helpful and completely professional! Working with them was amazing! We had no idea what we wanted when my now husband and I sat down with them for a consultation and tasting. Jamie sat down with us and walked us through the entire process and was amazing and very helpful in the creative process. Communication via email and phone is easy and timely. The flavors were all amazing! DE-LI-CIOUS! We picked the raspberry and chocolate ganache, and the white w/raspberry, but we loved them all. It was a very hard decision! Fondant was even tasty! I've had other wedding cakes with fondant and I always have to take off the fondant layer. Our concept (mice toppers who are eating a piece of cake that has fallen out of the top layer - see pic) could have easily been too kitschy, but they did a WONDERFUL job of executing our vision and it never crossed the line into corny or tacky. Everyone loved the cake! Multiple complements on looks and taste! People actually asked to take leftovers home! We recommend Fleur de Lisa to anyone who wants delicious and gorgeous cakes!

Cakes are beautiful and desserts are closer to my heart than any other type of food, so our cake was VERY important to us. Lisa made a cake even more beautiful than the one we had discussed during our consultation. And it was so yummy that our local guests are still asking us to share our frozen left overs. Thank you, Lisa! :) We loved it!! :)

I come from a family where everything is homemade - cookies, cakes, salad dressings, croutons, everything. So when it came to wedding cake my expectations weren't too high based on my past experiences with wedding cakes. Lisa blew us away with her wedding cake selections. It was extremely difficult narrowing it down to only two flavors -- we loved everything we tasted! Most delicious cake we've ever had, not to mention stunning as well. Thank you Lisa!

Dear Lisa, thank you so much for the amazingly tasty and beautiful looking wedding cake! We loved it, countless guests came to tell us how great it tasted and the chef from Madrona Manor asked for your name because he said it was the best wedding cake he had that people brought there! Plus you were very wonderful to work with from the first meeting for tastes, to our email exchanges to the brainstorm for the looks of the cake. Our favorite flavor was the white cake with mango, followed by chocolate espresso and then the famous zinger.

Sarmentine is located in The Barlow in a premium corner location. Easy and free parking nearby. They offer phenomenal pastries and coffee beverages. I tried some of the day-old pastries as well as a selection of fresh stuff such as the pain suisse, canele, and some others. Everything was amazing- even the day-olds. I also thought the pricing here was reasonable for great pastries. I have paid much more than what I paid at Sarmentine for less scrumptious pastries. The staff who helped me out were kind, and they offered some great recommendations as to what I should order. The inside/outside dining space is a great touch, and they have a great kids' area right outside as part of The Barlow. Worth the visit!

I ordered an almond milk latte but was initially given regular milk. They remade it, though they seemed annoyed about the mistake. After spending over $40 and getting back to my car, I realized the remake was just steamed almond milk with no espresso at all. For a bakery with such a strong reputation and premium prices, I'd expect a little more attention to detail and a better customer experience.

The patisserie is cozy with a few tables inside and a few small tables on the patio. As you enter, you immediately see the glass case with beautiful pastries and cakes. So exciting to see all of their gorgeous creations in our little town of Sebastopol. We had reservations for 1:00 and they sat us at one of their small tables by the door. It worked but it wasn't the most comfortable seat in the house as people were walking in and out of the door and the pastry case was right next to us. There was a group of four near the far end and they offered to move us but then we would have been sitting right next to them. They also have another small private room but that was going to be used for a wedding cake meeting. Gergana is the owner and she greeted us warmly. She said she took over the patisserie in 2019. The other employees were very sweet and helpful. They provided us with a tea menu so we could select a tea from their varied tea menu. They returned with little pots of tea for each of us. There were many people dropping by to pick up a pastry and drink and others stopped by to pick up their cake order. The employees were efficient and quick to help everyone. They refilled our tea pots with hot water and checked on us throughout our time there. The desserts on the top level were our favorites. It came with a candle which was very sweet. The sandwiches on the middle level were chicken, egg salad and cream cheese with cucumber. Our favorite was the chicken salad. Overall, it was a fun experience to savor all of their small samplings and Gergana is there to ensure everything runs smoothly so that your time there is relaxing and extra special. She even gave us a hug as we were leaving. I look forward to visiting this local patisserie again for a cup of a tea and a beautiful pastry.

Pros: I've visited several times for the bakery. The scones are my favorite as they are quite large and delicious, and I also tend to buy the Russian tea cakes as well. The macarons are a little harder and chewier than I expected, but they are still amazing. I actually found Patissierie Angelica specifically because I was looking for high tea services and thus have had their West County High Tea service twice. The second time I had the high tea service, I was given a private room! I particularly enjoyed the lemon curd, jam, and clotted cream with the scones. Patisserie Angelica is also located in a quiet and spacious part of Sebastopol; there is a parking lot that usually has space. Cons: The private room became a little stuffy as there was no air flow (other than an open window) nor air conditioning. However, things might have changed from the last time I was there. Overall: The bakery is truly amazing. I absolutely enjoy the desserts sold there and would love to have more of the high tea service in the future. It's perfect for private parties!

It's a very small shop with a big counter space for ordering and displaying their pastries and bread. It looks like their work area may be behind the counter so to prevent inside crowding, a limited amount of people go in at a time. On Sundays, they have scones! So I ordered a Strawberry Pistachio scone to try and we picked up two Small Chocolate Thimbles to try. For take-home bread, we bought the Forestville French Baguette, Sesame Epi Baguette, and a Country Bird. We also picked up a tea cake to enjoy at home. I can only review the scone and Thimbles since at the time of this review, this is what I've tried. The Strawberry Pistachio scone was not too sweet, which is great. I like how the pistachio bits add flavor to it, kinda wish they added more pistachio. I'm not sure I personally like the strawberries since they're kinda mushy, but my partner really liked the addition of strawberries because it's like adding cream to a biscuit and this scone was more like a biscuit than a scone (in our opinion). It's buttery, airy, and light, but it's pretty good! I think the Thimbles were better though. I can only describe it as a fudgy brownie with a thin crusty outer layer. What a decadent little treat! I can see why this is a local favorite! Their pastries are delicious. I can't wait to see how the bread tastes like and I'm glad we stopped by to pick up some goodies! Service was really friendly and they even have free stickers up in the front!

The line was out the door and took a while to get in, but once we made it inside the small space, we were greeted kindly by the staff and treated to great-looking bread and pastries. We picked up a baugette, a seeded loaf, a pluot tea cake, and some chocolate thimbles. The chocolate thimbles are truly amazing, and I would come back to get a thousand of those. They are like the best brownie you've ever had in a little bite-sized delight. The bread was also good- on par with many other small local bakeries I have visited. The pluot cake was very nicely done with great texture and fresh pluot topping. It would have gone great with some vanilla ice cream. I'd imagine Nightingale Breads is the type of place where everything is delicious. I don't think you'll miss here.

There are tall ceilings and a good number of tables/seats indoor and some smaller tables outside. On a Saturday late morning while we were there, we did notice that there was pretty constantly a line. However, it is pretty fast moving and took us about 10 minutes to get through ourselves. You'll start by seeing some merchandise and online orders before getting to the baked goods, drinks/cakes, and the cashier. The staff was super friendly and helpful in answering our questions and offering suggestions. Once you order, you get a number if you're eating in and can grab cutlery, water cups/water, and look for a seat. There is also a good restroom that was clean. We sat on one of the bigger tables/benches and our order came in about 7 minutes. Here's what we ordered: +Veggie quiche: One of the best items we had. Loved the flaky pie crust and how big it was. The quiche was delicious and came with a small side salad. +Ham and cheese croissant: A good croissant. Loved the everything bagel-like seasoning on top. I think this being warmed up would go the extra mile. +/-Ricotta and jam toast: The toast was good here. But the ricotta/jam were a little bland. Would have benefitted from a little more of a bold flavor to help give it a distinctive taste. -Iced matcha latte: We also ordered the iced matcha latte. They didn't have almond milk so opted for oat milk. Unfortunately this was the weakest item we had personally. The oat milk was a bit too strong and combined with the matcha used, it left with a bit of a strange aftertaste. Parking wasn't too hard as it was in a pretty big parking lot. The taste is fine but not that special. I think Betty the original owner must have sold the place or died. There's never anyone in there and they don't like taking cash. They used to sell pie by the slice and the place was packed. Now it's $19 if you want a taste. They used to serve sandwiches too-all that went away. One exception: the strawberry pie is divine, but only available in Early June. I think the place is now a tourist trap, catching the unwary who don't know better.
