Same man works downtown, frequents the Barlow, the downtown plaza, Starbucks locations, Safeway and whole foods. Also many employees of the businesses downtown are part of this scam. Don't spend your money here. I mean go ahead spend your money in the Barlow, but I wouldn't take money anywhere on main Street or anywhere in the downtown vicinity, definitely never ever ever show anybody that you have money here, they will definitely try to defraud you. If some seemingly sweet middle-aged blonde woman offers you a cup of juice, ignore her or refuse it, she does the exact same scam in the plaza while on her break. Her method is that she'll claim that the person stole the juice and that they owe her $15. Because she's an employee of a business she has more of the say than any random civilian walking around town, and the police are easily swayed to take cash from anyone. Also if you walk by the Rialto you might get hit in the head by a security guard for no reason other than he's mentally ill, and everyone likes hiring autistic security guards because they're nice and friendly normally. Basically if you see a Cadillac or a Buick you're about to get screwed for any cash you might be carrying as well as any personal belongings that the fraudsters want their hands on.

The service at all of the places I have been to is excellent and everyone is friendly and inviting. As far as food, I love the Osito Tacos, because who doesn't love tacos. I haven't tried all the food options here but the ones I have tried were all great. I also love Region, a self-serve wine bar, and enjoy sampling different wines. Each month they feature a winery and you can enjoy a flight of wines or partake in different events they have. The Barlow is dog friendly so you will see cute dogs on leashes. When I went to pick up my unsold items, they only gave me back half of the items that were unsold. Due to not being paid for my sold items and then not being given back most of my unsold items, 75% of my items were stolen by JBF. I have contacted Mandi, one of the owners, who told me my check was in the mail but I never received it. I informed her that over a month had passed since I was supposed to be paid and asked if she could reissue a new check. Unbelievably, she said it was still in the mail and told me to wait another week and contact her again if it still did not arrive. After waiting two more weeks, I reached out to her several times, but she completely ignored all further communication from me. I was scammed by this JBF organization! This is fraud. To make matters worse, the price sticker on the shoes showed they had been marked $20 cheaper than what I actually paid online. The store would only process a return and refused to let me repurchase them at the marked price, claiming it would be considered a "price adjustment" and wasn't allowed. So charging customers more than the marked price is okay? To make matters worse, the cashier, Ximena, was rude and dismissive. She scrutinized every inch of the shoes and the jacket I was returning as if she was trying to find a reason to deny the return. Lady, all the original tags and hangers were still attached. Is there a possibility this is exactly how it ships out, which is why I'm returning it? Crazy thoughts huh!!!

My first impression was that it didn't look like there was much here, but I looked deeper and treasures started to pop up everywhere. Maybe not for resellers, but for the average person yes. I took some photos to show you. I had fun. The prices are as you would expect, not high. The staff was nice. The other customers were pleasant. Everything was sorted and signed. I got a cool little Japanese bowl, a cool pink glass, and some hooks for my studio.
