Disclaimer: review if croissant and magic cookie bar The croissant was over cooked. Not as soft as I like them. Also, I like them more buttery. I think the beauty of a magic cookie bar is the combo of all ingredients .it together makes for a flavor burst in every bite. This one was way overpowered by the dark chocolate. This is a quaint little bakery in the heart of North Attleboro with friendly employees and yummy looking treats. I ordered a couple of lattes, one being pumpkin spice (meh) and the other white mocha (yum). My only real issue with the coffee is that it was lukewarm. They definitely need to figure out how to warm it up a bit. The bacon and potato quiche was delicious. I also tried a broccoli and cheese one and it was just fine. The lemon poppy seed scone was also scrumptious. Overall, it was a mixed bag but more positive than negative for certain. The most important takeaway is to warm up the coffee please! read more

I love this place! Super cute bakery with tons of great sweets and treats. Also coffee and teas to choose from. Grabbed 2 of their cupcakes- red velvet and the vanilla. When you walk into a place and wanna try everything, you know you've hit the jackpot. Couldn't resist the cinnamon bun and must say it's fantastic. Ask them to warm it up and they'll do it. A lot of delicious sticky gooey Ness that's as good or better than any sticky bun anywhere. It's pretty big so you might wanna share it. Almond croissant is as equal to or maybe a tad better of a choice than the sticky cinnamon bun. Flaky, slightly buttery with almond filling... terrific. read more

I needed cupcakes for my gender reveal, best decision to come to Whisk and Paddle. They were so friendly and caring and took time with these cupcakes. I wanted only one of them filled with the gender color, all cupcakes had a question mark on them. Stopped by for the first time today before a visit to the library! A lot of times I drive by and they aren't open, they keep morning/early afternoon hours. Their iced hazelnut coffee was so good I went back for seconds. I love when a flavor is brewed, and not a flavor shot and that's exactly what this is. They have plenty of morning pastry and I saw some pretty to go cakes. I'll definitely think of them next time I need a cake for an event. Unbelievable! My family and I all share the love of baking from scratch. You can always tell the difference in flavor between a mix and from scratch cake. Not that there is anything wrong with the mix, we just prefer homemade. Most bakeries are hit or miss for me. Whisk and Paddle was phenomenal! The flavors are exceptional!!! We had a white cake, with a creamy filling and buttercream frosting. The flavors were delicately balanced, the frosting was not overly sweet, just a perfect bite! I popped in i today to grab cupcakes for a work potluck and everything looked so fresh and so delicious. i love supporting local businesses and this one is really great. It was nice and cool inside. I grabbed a few cupcakes which my co workers devoured. The young women working the counter was so sweet and worked very efficiently. We saw a fly inside the bakery refrigerator and told the staff and was told that unfortunately their sliding door aren't the greatest to the flies get in ? Yikes I think for this price they should probably make the drinks and sandwiches something to truly remember but maybe we were paying for the ambiance? I would come back for maybe just a refresher next time while we shop and enjoy the nursery but not for lunch. I do think the nursery is worth while but the stars are specifically for the cafe.

But this is my second time at Cucina 38, and it remains SPECTACULAR--like Boston, Prov or NYC spectacular. The mistletoe martini was fantastic and my favorite thing is their sautéed calamari appetizer. The Caesar salad dressing is one of the best--I could bathe in it. The birthday boy had the Bolognese and I had the special--short rib tortellini. Both were excellent. As it was a BD celebration, the pistachio torta was delivered with lit candle, a nice touch for a very yummy cake. Kevin, the chef/owner, even sent over a complimentary plate of house made tiramisu truffles, which were decadent and delicious. Can't forget Olivia, our server. She was amazing and chatty and just really a special addition to a great evening. Make a reservation and go! It's a small place (closed Sunday & Monday) and if you get chilly, best to bring a sweater in the winter.

I have gone in there several times only to not be greeted at all by the person working in the area. It makes me not want to spend a little extra for their special wares. And that frankly seems to defeat the point of highlighting them so nicely. But besides this, it is a great store with good service worth many repeat visits!
