Our group ate lunch nearby and wanted to try a boba or drinks spot. We saw Whisk Matcha Bar and decided to try it out. The interior is akin to a coffee bar but with a "matcha" bar, watching the staff whisk the matcha powder and whatnot. The drinks were pricey; $10 after tax, which is stiff even for 2026. Overall, I adjusted the sugar level and adjusted to oat milk on my drink. It was good but also nothing that I can't make almost exactly at home with ceremonial matcha. Interesting concept but this is a very trendy idea that has tough competition as well. For this price point, it better be a home run and it's not.

My favorite thing about Whisk is the interior. It was just so pretty; the light wood elements, Ikebana - japanese flower arrangement. The decor is so whimsical it just made me happy I tried their MONT BLANC MATCHA. This one is definitely unique. I haven't seen another cafe with this flavor combo. The orange zest added the citrus brightness that paired well with the earthy matcha I'll wanna come back & try some of their other syrup flavors. The price can add up if you make some customization but for the location it makes sense. Such a beautiful place to sit down with a book or your laptop.

Currently in their soft opening so they have limited hours. Grand opening is this weekend (5/30 and 5/31)! Solid matcha spot. They truly do take the time to whisk the matcha and prepare your drink properly. I love how they have a black sesame syrup because not many places offer black sesame. They allowed me to sample a small sip of the black sesame syrup before fully committing to it. (Grateful for that.) So I went with the matcha latte, 50% ice, with oat milk and black sesame syrup. (They subbed out the agave with the syrup fyi.) Friendly and pleasant service! Very clean and spacious enough to not feel crowded sitting next to another person. Would come back again to try their other drinks, which is why I'm currently giving 4/5 stars. A little on the pricier side, but kinda expected it with being in West U.

Perfect addition to the neighborhood! I absolutely love trying new matcha spots whenever I go on vacation, and I am so glad they just opened up Whisk right in town. The interior is so bright and welcoming. On this visit, I tried the Cold Whisk Matcha and Earl Grey Matcha Latte. The Cold Whisk Matcha was very earthy and smooth. The Earl Grey Latte had the most perfect syrup that paired perfectly with the matcha. It was a great combination of earthy flavors. Overall, I had a great visit at Whisk. The drinks are very well made. The team is very friendly. I can't wait to try their other matcha drinks in the future!

This one of my fav matcha places. The mont Blanc is a unique blend with orange zest and matcha. I liked the citrus flavor with the grassy matcha. The citrus flavor didn't overpower the drink and paired well. They let you adjust the sweetness and even asked if I wanted to adjust the sweetness level. I got it at 50% sweetness and that was like the perfect balance of sweetness for me. I could taste the quality of the matcha. This is a good refreshing matcha. They also use real strawberries. The atmosphere has the open concept where you can sit at the counter almost like a bar. You can watch the barista make drinks.

Very well thought out cafe with a lovely Japanese-esk vibe. There is a bit of hype right now regarding whisk matcha so it was a bit packed. I ordered the strawberry matcha and a double hojicha latte. Although they were crowded, service was quick. I honestly didn't love the strawberry matcha. It had very little taste and non of the strawberry flavor came through. The hojicha was far better but I had actually ordered the double hojicha and only noticed the mistake when I got home. Between the price and the mistakes. I don't think I would be returning.

I went to whisk matcha bar for their soft opening. This new location in WestU makes it pretty convenient from my school. I decided to keep it simple and just got the regular matcha latte. It came out pretty quick. It is pretty small for the price but I could tell that their matcha quality is on the higher end. Even then, I felt like it could've used more matcha flavor as I didn't think it was strong enough. This place has a few tables as well as bar seating so could be a good potential studying spot when the hype dies down a bit

Stopped by to try their matcha latte and thought it was okay, not amazing but not bad. Got the classic iced matcha latte with oat milk. The cup was pretty small for the price. The ambiance was relaxed, with people studying and chatting. The service was fine. Parking was easy, with a lot right in front of their store.

Vibe- Pretty spacious with a good amount of seating. Pretty quiet and chill so I could see it being a spot to study or just chill! Customer service- Great! Food/drinks- I got the strawberry matcha latte with oatmilk. It wasn't terrible but if you like your matcha sweet I'd ask for something to sweeten it. Parking- It's in a strip so you park where you can.

The interior of this place is so cute and has the perfect vibe to study. My friend got strawberry matcha and I got the mont blanc matcha. The strawberry matcha was bitter and sour yet I couldn't even taste the strawberry flavor. The mont blanc was okay but it still had this weird bitter taste to it. I don't think I would come here again especially because each matcha is almost $10 and it just didn't taste good. The service was great though!

My friends had raved about the strawberry blondie latte and I can see why they did! My first visit, I tried it with quarter sugar but found myself craving a little more sweetness. I got the half sugar order today and it was perfect - a lovely sweet strawberry taste at the bottom that you can mix in with the coffee. I love that it is iced and comes with dried strawberries floating at the top! You can customize sugar and milk options but it's $1 extra for oat milk. All the staff are really friendly and were happy to talk me through the flavoring options of various lattes. I got the mocha latte for J and he really enjoyed it. The shop is not very big and was completely full on a Friday morning, but plenty of seats were open on a Sunday morning. It's a good location for coffee with a friend, or a date, or getting some work or studying done. Parking is right outside and is plentiful as it's right next to the Walgreens. I already signed up for their rewards program so I will certainly be back!

The layout of the interior was slightly confusing, you have to walk all the way to the back left corner to order your coffee, and it was next to the restrooms. (Thank God the restrooms were clean.) I ordered the vanilla latte (kind of like the safe thing to order at a new place?) and to be honest, first sip was a disappointment. The barista prepared it well, it was not burnt, but the issue is when you do have someone prepare it well and it still doesn't turn out well means there's an issue with the quality itself. It fell flat in terms of flavor. The espresso overpowers the flavor of everything else. Which normally is a good thing, but usually in lattes I'm expecting a nice mix of syrup, milk, and espresso. The bitter of the espresso takes over the latte. I'm sure this place had some other delicious choices, but this was not the coffee shop for me.

We all ordered different milks -- whole, skim, coconut, and oat -- and they were able to accommodate all of us! I really liked my iced latte, which was rich without being overly floral or sweet. The pastries were also a hit, including the lemon poppy muffin, cherry turnover, chocolate croissant, and the spinach, mushroom, and cheese danish. The outside of this coffee shop and apothecary doesn't exactly have curb appeal, but the inside is bright, clean, and stylish, combining sleek lines with softer botanical elements to create a welcoming space. The barista was... indifferent at best, borderline unfriendly at worst. We did ask a couple questions that seemed to irritate her, but we were the only people in there, so we weren't holding up a line or anything. It was a bummer to feel unwelcome, but we were getting the coffee and pastries to go regardless, so it didn't ruin our breakfast.

Brock and Jael exceeded my expectations of this cute coffee shop and its services. This was my first time ever visiting this establishment accompanied by my mom. We were greeted with the most beautiful smiles and jolly hellos anxiously prepared to take our orders. I had an idea but I wasn't sure what I wanted to order. These two amazing young people helped me decide what I would eventually order. My mom and I were treated so well that I made the decision to return with my work team and I'm truly excited to plan the trip. If you've never been to this coffee shop and you're in the area, please consider stopping by to pick up some coffee and delicious pastries. I would have rated this business 5 stars but I was disappointed with the service provided by the young ladies at the coffee area. They lacked the top notch quality customer service provided by Brandon and Jael. Unfortunately, I didn't get a smile or a hello from these ladies. I think maybe a little coaching is in order. Atmosphere: The interior and exterior of the building was nice and clean including the ladies room. The noise level was low and comfortable while folks were enjoying their food, working on their laptops, and having conversations. I was quite pleased.
