She clearly has expertise in her craft and she clearly has established relationships with the local regulars and welcomes newcomers on a regular basis. She is friendly , welcoming , warm - and has a great sense of humor and personality that matches this establishments environment ! The regulars love to see her when she's working - and she definitely has a following ! A hard worker who I've even seen there on her days off - taking care of business needs! My husband and I came here and we will definitely return! We started to doubt that any place can make wings as good as he can, but then we found this place. We were able to try four different flavors. We got the junior falcons dry seasoning- which tasted like rotisserie salt and vinegar - which had a perfect balance dill pickle -we have never had this, but it was surprisingly pleasant mild-hot- what I would consider a medium in terms of general spice, but very good flavor. The salad is fresh and added chicken is tender and delicious. The wings could be cooked longer to crisp up a bit but have many flavors/sauces to choose from. Fries were fresh and hot and chicken sandwich was cooked and flavored very nicely. Service is a bit slow but super friendly so worth the wait. Lots of tvs with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. We came to Whiskey and Wings with two other families after my son's football game, and this was our family's first visit. I remember hearing some negative feedback when they first opened, but I also remember a lot of locals jumping in to support them and reminding people that soft openings come with kinks that need to be worked out. It's safe to say all the kinks are long gone because we had a great experience. They happily pulled tables together so all three families could sit together, which was much appreciated with a big group and lots of kids. The kids ordered mozzarella sticks and onion rings, which were a hit. I ordered the fried green tomatoes with blue cheese dipping sauce and they were delicious. My husband and son shared the 10-piece party wings with the dry rub. They prefer dry wings, but this place offers about 15-20 wing sauces, so there's pretty much a flavor for everyone. Some friends in our group ordered the dill pickle wings, my husband had to try them. So good and unique. One thing I loved was that the celery and carrots that come with the wings are tossed in the sauce as well. I tried the dill pickle carrot and the dry rub carrot, yum! My daughter ordered the Jr. Falcon burger and said it was good, and it came with a giant side of fries. They also have a kids menu that other kids in our group ordered from. There are arcade-style games that kept the kids busy, which was a big plus. Just a heads up to bring cash for the games, as I didn't notice an ATM. My husband had a whiskey and was impressed with the large whiskey menu. I had a glass of wine. Our server did a great job, especially considering we had three families and a lot of kids all ordering at once. Everything came out correctly and without any issues. We stopped in for a drink and an app or two on a Friday. The bar was almost full but we found two seats and ordered beers. The beers were cold and that was the high point. After a bit, we ordered 10 wings with blue cheese and chips and salsa. While the salsa was good, the chips were right out of the bag. 30 seconds in the salamander would have warmed them up and made them much better. The wings were another story. Each wing piece was $1.60 and they were small, real small. For a restaurant that has wings in their name, we'd expect better. But the truly awful part was the blue cheese sauce. It was tangy skim milk. No sign of blue cheese pieces nor blue cheese flavor. When we dipped it on a carrot, it ran right off. After the fact, we noticed that no one at the bar had ordered food. When it comes to food, they have a limited menu, but what they do have they do right. You won't find a better chicken sandwich, chicken wings, fries in the area. We were in the area after a day out near Bartlett Lake and decided to find a local spot for lunch. We came across Whiskey & Wings and was intrigued by the name and I love wings. It was easy to find and parking was no issue. The lot is big. The place itself is quite large. We were greeted right away by a smiling waitress which is always a plus. The bar was great size and open seating but we opted for a booth as we weren't drinking today. There are a ton of TVs which of course had sports playing. It was not overly loud which was great and a lot of people seemed to be having a wonderful time. Whiskey and drink menu was pretty vast and I hear many people saying how cold and great the beer was. I was torn between a burger, winger salad, but again with wings in the name I had to go for it. They offered your typical party wings, but also whole wings and boneless. They have over 15 sauces I believe as well as dry rub. I chose the 10 party wings mild hot which come with celery and carrots. I also ordered the Bobcat Salad. My brother chose the 20 x-hot party wings. Our food came out pretty quick along with a ton of napkins and wet napkins which were a godsend because they were messy ha ha. The salad was amazing. It had good lettuce, bacon and such. It could've fed two people and I had to take half of it home. So good. The mold rings were almost too hot for me but I'm a wimp lol. 1. I decided to go to support non-chain restaurants in the community. I was encouraged by the packed parking lot and inside crowd on a Saturday afternoon. 2. The space is huge and was generally filled and lively. 3. The service was great and I was impressed that the establishment seems to hire many high school-age kids looking to get ahead/get some job experience. 4. The wings were better than I anticipated. Large size, cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly and tender. I would order again. 5. The burger was very basic and not so impressive. I wish there there was a way (bacon, various cheese options, sauce option) to offer something more complex. 6. The "hand cut" fries were done poorly. I suspect they were not properly cooked from frozen stock as they were cold, firm and mealy. 7. The catfish sandwich was barely average. So it was a nice, lively family place with great wings that support their namesake and has a place in the community. The non-wing menu needs expansion and improvement. We have been waiting for Whiskey and Wings to open ever since we saw the sign go up where Fat Willy's used to be, and since we live right up the street, we were excited to try it out. Right away, I noticed how much better the vibe was compared to before. At Fat Willy's it was always too bright and awkwardly quiet. They refreshed the space with some paint, new branding, and by removing the wall that made it feel closed off. Our server was really friendly. I did think it was a little odd that they did not have happy hour or any opening specials yet, but we were told it is coming soon. The menu had a nice variety without being overwhelming. We ordered 10 wings, fries, mozzarella sticks, and boneless wings. The food came out hot and pretty quick. For wing flavors we tried Cave Creek Heat and Salt and Vinegar. I loved the Salt and Vinegar but did not care for the Cave Creek Heat since it was more sweet than spicy. The boneless wings with buffalo sauce were the highlight for me. They were big, lightly breaded, and so good. The fries were a little too hard but the mozzarella sticks were good. A unique touch that I really liked was the carrots and celery that came with the wings were tossed in the same sauce! Overall, I really enjoyed this place. We had the pleasure of stopping in at the new Whiskey and Wings this afternoon! Just want a cold beer and an appetizer and got soooo much more! We were seated at the bar as we prefer and were skeptical at first from previous experience at different ownership but this time it was so different! We were pleasantly greeted by the Nick the owner and he graciously explained that they make most everything from scratch and gave us a thorough review of their sauces. Then. . . Nick brought us the onion rings! OMG! By far the best, flakiest thing I have ever had topped off with their honey mustard sauce! New sports bar to replace the previous sports bar (that replaced the previous). Minimal interior changes needed to be made. Added a splash of color and murals. No real problems needed solving with the look and feel. Menu is sparse if you don't want wings. Wings are solid and they have over 15 flavors, of increasing heat. Sauces/rub are not available for sampling so you are really going in blind. I'd like to see this improved. Wings are a bit pricey (20 makes them $1.5 each). We were in for lunch so there wasn't much talk of whiskey. Not sure if they have a whiskey menu, whiskey cocktails, etc. It's early days. The staff are still learning things. Hopefully they find a groove and the bar finds an identity that is compelling - I'm not sure if "whiskey and wings" will be enough, where every sports bar is offering wings. read more

This place has so much potential which makes me very happy for our neighborhood. The good-the wings are amazing, good sized and cooked well. The onion rings are stellar. The bad. Sauce choices in house do not match what is online and you only get one sauce. (I would pay for two, server said no.) I also hated having the carrots and celery soaked in the sauce, that is very off putting but our server Kara brought us fresh veggies without the sauce. The salad was disappointing and looked a day past what I consider edible. The place is also too loud and needs some sound baffles or carpets to tone down the echo. They also offered "Chelsea's salsa" but NO ONE knew who "Chelsea" is or why it is at "market price". Lots of kids playing in the bar area too where at least one patron was very over served with a colorful vocabulary, but I can't fault the restaurant for parent's choices. I'll start by saying that my service was great. The server was very attentive and checked in multiple times. The speed of the food was good as well. I didn't feel like I waited anymore than any other restaurant. Onion rings and fried okra were good. Got bone in wings with the Falcon Gold and Spicy Dill flavors, both were great. I did ask for extra crispy which I'm glad I did. Had the boneless wings in Mild Hot which was a good buffalo flavor but they were room temperature. The cheese pizza was a little undercooked and doughy but I wouldn't consider this a pizza place so I'm not too disappointed. The Bloody Mary and Spicy Whiskey were very good. My wife had two mimosas which were fine but I'd hope Whiskey and Wings would have breakfast drink specials. Other restaurants in the area have mimosas for half the price. All in all we will be back. I have been to this location under the two previous iterations and hope Whiskey & Wings can find that sweet spot between good food, good service, and good prices to become a mainstay in the area. read more

We came for dinner specifically because of all the negative noise regarding the opening of the restaurant. We had a fabulous experience for dinner. The onion rings were good and crispy. The chicken salad was delicious and large. I got the whole wing with the cave creek honey Cajun sauce. The whole wings, which are fresh and not frozen, were meaty and the sauce was flavorful! Definitely a good value! The service was exemplary. Ariel our waitress was attentive , friendly, and efficient. Definitely ask to sit in her section!!! I came at happy hour and they charged me full price. The waitress changed it but I had to bring it to her attention. Their website had 1/2 off appetizers and $3.50 drafts. When the waitress corrected my bill, I got $2 off certain apps and $1 off my $7 draft. When I showed the waitress she said, "you're the 2nd person to show me this today". And then she walked away.
