The Red Wine Supernova (left) and the Peach Cobbler (right) - (my personal favorite - a fruit beer with peaches, cinnamon & brown sugar.)

This place was a fantastic discovery for our family! We're into craft beer and quality food, and this had both of those and more! We went on Saturday May 10th, as a "night before Mother's Day" dinner out for me! It was a delightful experience. To start with, there was a very friendly greeter at the door, welcoming us and showing us to a table. The place has very nice rustic, cozy decor and relaxed vibe. The craft beers were amazing! And we are usually quite picky - but they had SO much good quality stuff on offer! We tried 4 different beers - 1. The "DB Duskbringer" (an excellent Imperial stout), 2. the "Catalyst BT & J" - (A delicious blend of 2 stouts, aged in Buffalo Trace and Jeppson Bourbon barrels), 3. the "Peach Cobbler" (my personal favorite - a fruit beer with peaches, cinnamon & brown sugar - not overly sweet, but tart and fruity) and 4. the "Red Wine Supernova" - (a complex and delicious "wild ale"). The food was equally amazing. Everything tasted very fresh, very tasty and cooked to perfection! I had the Shrimp Napoleon salad (mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, toasted almonds, wonton crisp, lemon pepper and dill marinated shrimp) which was absolutely delicious. My daughter had one of the specials - the "Giant Prawn Etouffee" (two U/4 tiger prawns over Sarasota roux etouffee and rice) which was spectacular - we all had a taste and it was delicious. My husband had the "Fish Fry Platter" (lightly breaded and served with fries, creamy slaw and their home made lemon dill tartar), which was very good and satisfying. At the end, we got a dessert to share, which was fun - special New Orleans "beignets" - deep fried pastries, sprinkled with powdered sugar and served hot, with two different dipping sauces, chocolate and fruit. A really wonderful dinner in a great, relaxed and friendly setting. Will definitely be going back soon!

I am a superfan of this local gem. The ambiance is modern, cozy and lots of natural light. The food is artisan and the chef makes everything from scratch extraordinary. They have a vast cocktail, beer selection, and desserts. My favorites have been the Prime Rib Sandwich, Steak Bites and the Jumbo Prawns to make a few. Christine, Maggie and Sarah are great servers who remember who you are when you return. We love this spot and are regulars. Give them a try!

My frustration stems from not keeping up with socials and driving to the base location to a locked door. Arrived at the other location and nothing offered other than full pours. In a traveling craft beer tour, I personally find that to be a reckless and unsafe business practice so I left without trying anything. No printed papers to indicate pour size other than this chalkboard of full pours

Solid food overall. I've enjoyed everything I've tried but nothings been out of this world good. Nice new neighborhood addition. Especially given it's more of a drinking atmosphere.

First off, I would like to give major kudos to the servers and bartenders for their great service. They are super attentive and informative on the food and beer there. I had the steak rangoons which had a good amount of filling and the brisket was just perfect for these with the cheese stuffing. The wings were surprisingly meaty and with the Thai chili sauce it had the perfect balance of salty and sweet. The mexicana salad is too amazing to rave about on here. It's big, juicy, and crunchy at the same time. The fries were a delicious surprise as I have not seen fries like what they have anywhere else. The drinks; beer or cocktails, the bartenders are great at giving you recommendations based on your flavor cravings. There's a beer and cocktail for everyone. this place is great for family gatherings, friends or a hot date night.

Warming up with fresh tomato soup and a grilled cheese!

My service dog, Cooper, officially passed his service dog certification, so we wanted to celebrate. As it turned out, we accidentally picked the perfect day, it was Goldfinger's 6th anniversary. Between the outdoor tents, live music, food trucks, and everyone enjoying themselves, the place had an incredible energy. It felt like a big block party without feeling overcrowded or chaotic. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. They made great beer recommendations, welcomed us right away, and even brought Cooper a bowl of water without us having to ask. As any dog owner knows, the quickest way to our hearts is by treating our four-legged sidekick like family. Watching Cooper happily soaking up all the attention on such a big day for him made the experience even more memorable. The beer was excellent, the atmosphere was exactly what you'd hope for from a neighborhood brewery, and the whole place just had that genuine, welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back. It may have taken me six years to finally stop in, but I can promise it won't take me that long to visit again. Cheers to six years, Goldfinger and thanks for helping make Cooper's big day one we'll both remember.

Tried a mixed flight of IPA, Pale Ale, Sour, and a Stout - all were good and unique in the genre. My absolute favorite was a full pour of the King Balaton, sour cherry with a jammy and complex taste. Balaton is a Hungarian cherry, and I once had a great wine by a Michigan wine maker with the same, so I'm gonna say the Balaton cherry should be a Midwest tradition. They always have a crowd and that's expected because there's not many other great places besides this. A lot of beers to choose from. There's a pretty great variety and they always rotate. Beers are the main thing of course. It's got a pretty surprising amount to choose from. There's a lot of these on tap. More in cans. Pretty great variety. A lot are IPAs but there's a few others. It's about $8 a pint. Kind of a lot but they make smaller batches of these. Best one we had of these was the Hazy In The Name Of. This is a New England Hazy IPA, a classic style. Made with citrone and nectaron hops. There's notes of citrus, lime, passionfruit, and peach. Has a few things to munch on. It's about $7 for the Knotty Pretzels. Comes in a big bag. While I'd liked the beers I'd been able to try in the past, it was nice to see their taproom. There are TVs on both sides, so you'll be able to watch whatever game is on no matter which side you sit. It was also nice to see they had the Chicago Sports Network channel, the new channel for Bulls/Sox/Hawks games, as a lot of places/people don't have it. They had quite a big tap list, I tried 4 throughout the night-2 week vacation, Gold as Hell, Movies on Mars, Black Eclipse. All good, the first 2 were definitely my favorites. They sell a few snack items, or you can bring food in. Bartender seemed like a really cool guy. No real street parking, but there's a big shared lot in back with plenty of space. Very glad I finally made the trip out here, and would happily come back when there's some new beers on tap.
