Came here with a girlfriend from LA to watch the world series! We were decked out in Dodgers gear and wants to find a place to eat and drink to finish the game. Started off down stairs but came up to the rooftop to sit closer to the Tv's. The bartender was good, the food came out quickly. The drinks were a little inconsistent. I got the same cocktail three times and each time they came out very different. The reason I took off two stars was because of the other patrons and disrespect of the staff. We were clearly there to watch the game, not a small game but the World Series! With 2 innings left another table came in and decided to be obnoxious. It was a family, and they asked to put on college baseball. The waiter went and changed the channel and the sound without asking or saying anything. We asked why they changed it because we were watching and he said it is still showing on a TV on the other side of the room. We would have had to move our table, food and drinks after we had been there for hours. Inevitably we were not able to finish the game and had to watch it on our phones. Of course the family who requested the change, wasn't even watching the games they asked to put on. No one asked us or even acknowledged until I asked. It was beyond rude and disrespectful, I doubt I will never come back here for a game after that experience. The entire situation was uncomfortable, and I can't help but think they wouldn't have done that if it was a group of men watching. Major bummer because the food and location is pretty good. My boyfriend lives around the corner, and we were counting down the days for Whiskey Tango Foxtrot to reopen. We came in right after the doors opened again--yes, the drinks took a little time that first visit, but we gave them grace. Since then, it's become one of our absolute favorite neighborhood spots to eat and drink. I always order the espresso martini (so good!), and my boyfriend goes for Jefferson Ocean on the rocks. We've worked our way through a few menu items, and everything has exceeded expectations--especially the glazed brussels sprouts and house salad. He's obsessed with the ahi tuna nachos and the Cubano sandwich. Huge shoutout to Dylan behind the bar--he's personable, welcoming, and brings that laid-back, local vibe that makes this place feel like a true neighborhood gem. And as a big fan of house music, the weekend DJ nights are such a vibe! We're excited to come back and check out the rooftop now that summer's here. Highly recommend this spot! read more

Yelp Review 2023 #296: Would I be lying if I said I didn't come here because of the restaurant's name? Absolutely! Well, it piqued my interest and so, I had to check out their menu. I went here with a group and for whatever reason, I got here later than everybody else. So, food had been ordered including what the group thought would be something I would like. And if I didn't like what they ordered, plan B was to swap with somebody. WTF moment averted! First of all, this is a bar/ restaurant. And for bar food, they have outstanding food. I'm not concerned about the bar/ drinks aspect. But they have a great selection of libations. What the group ordered: Ahi Tuna Nachos Buffalo Cauliflower Poutine Foxtrot Philly Cubano Thin-Cut Fries In the end, we agreed to sample everything amongst the group so, we can all try everything that was ordered. I will say, we over ordered appetizers (ahi tuna nachos, buffalo cauliflower, and poutine) and that's our fault! The poutine was exciting in the beginning as it was the first one to land on our table then, we moved on to the appetizers. We came back to the poutine and it got a bit cold so, we didn't have the same enthusiasm anymore. Lesson: don't order too many appetizers and finish your poutine while it's still hot. The philly cheesesteak and the Cubano were good. The fries were also good but we couldn't finish it. Since this is a bar, expect loud noises and music. Service was good. read more

I quickly stopped by Whiskey Tango Foxtrot last night for a glass of red wine to mingle with my best friend. My red (Italian Cab) was decent/okay. This place (as the name says it) is whiskey place so maybe I should have gotten me a nice/unique whiskey based cocktail (I'll do the next time.) I didn't order any food. It's such a bummer though that they took off the Ahi Tuna Tacos off the menu (and it was replaced by Ahi Tuna Nachos or something.) Many took a picture of the Ahi Tuna Tacos and they just looked so delicious. Please please bring it back! The bar area is spacious. They also have plenty of seatings and some of them are big couches where you can sit with a group of people. They also have second floor which I didn't bother to look at but one of the food runners said it's quite spacious. It's mostly for the warm months but it can be used during the winter months as there are heaters (is what I heard.) Conveniently located in the Ballpark area. Whiskey tango foxtrot is like any other regular bar- usually go for a beer but not a huge fan of their food. Got their Cobb salad and it was expensive for the small amount of ingredients that go into it. I like their buffalo cauliflower bits! However it is so close to coors field that it's a very convenient spot to meet up or have a drink before heading to a game which is clutch. They have a patio that is usually packed but the atmosphere is always fun as people are getting hyped for the game. The service is normal- nothing crazy but the parking is the reason gave it a 4. The 5 stars is specifically for the buffalo cauliflower wings. I didn't think anyone could beat out alamo draft house cauliflower wings, but they sure did by a mile. When we arrived in Denver after our flight, it was very late. We were looking for something to eat, but around our hotel, everything seemed to be closed. Luckily we learned about WTF from two guys on the street. When we arrived, the restaurant was still crowded around 11 pm. We were there for food, but I was impressed with their whiskey and beer selection as well as their music. One of the beers that I tried that I really enjoyed was the Nitro Vanilla Porter. For food, I ordered the Cajun Turkey Gouda sandwich. It was good, but next time I will probably order something else. My husband ordered the WTF Cobb salad which he said he enjoyed. This place has an awesome atmosphere. I wish I was able to stay longer. We only had time to pop in for one beer. The bartender was nice and professional even though it seemed they were short handed at the time. Seriously, he was non stop. My husband and I recently moved to this side of town so figured we needed to try the local spot on the block! I don't know what I was expecting, but first impression of the atmosphere in this spot was 1. Loud 2. Hip 3. TVs = could watch Olympics while we dined (big plus!). On top of that, service was super quick & attentive which I appreciated! Now for the drinks & food: the online menu is a bit difficult as there's no description of what is in each drink or dish. So they have all of these specialty cocktails but I have no idea what's in them! So I just asked for something gin-based while my husband got one of the beer flights (cool that they do flights). My drink wasn't the best, as it tasted like a strong mix drink I'd get while dancing at the club, but the food made up for that! We ordered the cheese curds - delicious! But beware it's not just fried cheese, it's also fried pickles - I'm not complaining though! And for entrees my husband got the Cajun turkey sandwich and I got the seared tuna tacos (on the app menu but truly filling enough for an entree!). We stopped in here the other night for dinner - it was nice out so there were people on the patio out front, and on the roof deck. We sat at the inside bar/by the window looking out on the patio - and were surprised by the amount of seating. We were greeted right away, and Nick took our drink order while we perused the rest of the menu. The beer list (both on tap and bottles) is extensive, along with the whiskey selection (and flight options). I had the basil rathbone drink - which was sort of like a take on a whiskey sour and very tasty. We also had the ommegang witte, and the birds of paradise - both were good. For food - we had the Cubano, WTF Gyro, and buffalo cauliflower. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the gyro - it was chock-full with meat, tomatoes, lettuce, red onion, feta and tzatziki was on the side. The buffalo cauliflower was lightly breaded, with lots of spicy Buffalo sauce, and vegetable ribbons. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu! read more

A friend of ours lives nearby so we all come out to dinner. Who can't resist Whiskey, and Tango, and Foxtrot? It was pretty loud, but it was Tuesday trivia night too. However, it was not too loud that we were unable to have a conversation. After looking at the menu, I couldn't rally decide between the chimichurri steak and the fried chicken. After getting advice from our waiter, I ordered the fried chicken. My wife got the mahi mahi and our friend got the chimichurri steak. All were very good. The fried chicken as incredibly juicy. I've yet to be disappointed by fried chicken here in Denver, but I think the secret here is that they fried the chicken with the skin on. Yum! My wife's mahi mahi was covered in a creamy sauce and had a number of veggies, the cauliflower was nearly as tender as the fish! I also got to have a bite of the steak and I daresay it was better than my fried chicken. The trivia seemed pretty popular and I did see a number of high end whiskeys behind the bar, so I've got to come back for those. Apparently game days here are crazy but fun! With it's proximity to the baseball field, that's not that surprising. All around good time here. Good service, great food and great friends! However, the bathroom doors are pretty tough to pull open after you air dry your hands. No paper towel option there. read more

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot has some of the best whiskey options in Denver! I have been a few times and gotten drinks, so the last time I went I needed to try their food. Of course I still had to do the whiskey (I got the Scottish Cycle Tour). For starters, my friends and I split the Colorado Pork Meatballs. Delicious! I am in love with Shrimp and Grits, so that was my main course. Not going to lie, I'm drooling right now thinking about it. It was wonderful, and came with Cheddar Frico. Whiskey selection is great. I would get the old fashioned again. Big food menu. Buffalo Cauliflower was great. The host asked us if we were okay with sitting at the bar communal table (which was empty at the time). We didn't have a reservation so we were flexible. A few moments later the host sat a party of 2 next to us - not a full 6 feet apart. By time we got our entrees the other half of the bar was almost full. Guests were sitting next to each other at the bar just like the good 'ol days, pre covid. Service wasn't that great. I asked our server for another round of drinks when we ordered our entrees. Drinks never came. We had no refills on our waters. Our server pretty much forgot about us. We didn't see him for the rest of our time there. Eventually my boyfriend had to get up and give his card to the manager just so we could cash out and leave. He returned our card and thanked us for coming in. This is a rating/review for their non existent happy hour. Their prices for their well tequila is $6.75. Yeah. Not very HH. Food wise it's pricey and it's not memorable at all. To me. Example: Pork Wings is $13 and their CO meatballs is $12.50. Their cauliflower is $7. All these are small plates. Nuts on 29 and Foxhattan are both bourbon based cocktail and $10.25 each. Not too shabby and probably two of the only things I would go back here. Their best offering here is their breakfast/brunch. Of which is my first exposure to this place. Even that is not enough for me to return. Why? There's not much option. Our server was excellent. He was knowledgeable. On a warm sunny day check out their upstairs patio.
