So here's the thing. We went to dinner having been here before a LONG time ago. As soon as we began to eat we were like oh yea... this is extremely lackluster and disappointing. The food is a solid 5.8 MAYBE 6 out of ten. The prices however reflect that of a 5 star entree. I had a few drinks and a burger no bun and paid $84 with tip. I could have taken that money to Elway's, Uncle, Guard and Grace, the list goes on. Tbh it just doesn't seem like there is any passion in the food. The portions are small the food does not stand out in anyway whatsoever. You can taste the lack of inspiration in the food. It's a thing trust me. I got the deviled eggs also which are curried. Those were edible but legit not good. The curry was over kill for a deviled egg and trust I LOVE CURRY. I feel like nobody on the management or even ownership side has tried the food recently. I think they charge as much as they do bc location and rent had to be high. I can swear on my mother's life the food is not worth the price point. I'm begging you to save your money . The service however was excellent! I went on a Friday night and there were still plenty of seats... slowly but surely everyone is figuring it out. Hope they can revamp the menu with some inspiration and ultimately revisit the pricing and options bc its not going to survive. The best way to rate this experience is with the word Sad. It was just all around sad. I dunno but I promise you'll thank me by spending your monies elsewhere. So many nice options around that area so if you're in town visiting don't take a risk here.. trust you'll be happier elsewhere. read more

Love, love, love this place. The buffalo cauliflower, crispy brussels sprouts, and pork wings are amazing. I have never had a whiskey cocktail, but our amazing waiter got to know my tastebuds and scored big with his three choices he served me over the course of our dinner. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is part of a vibrant neighborhood with a fun crowd. The live music and trivia nights draw me in for great drinks, food and great service from the severs/ bartenders. By far the worst food in the ballpark neighborhood. It's almost like no one likes working here because both the quality and service both left so much to be desired. I've lived in the neighborhood and finally decided to give it a try. Ordered a Cobb and a burger. All the burgers are served on english muffin, which seems more cheap than inventive. The salad was just a head of romaine cut in half with pre cooked chicken. Another pet peeve of mine, not a single guest wants to have to cut up their salad in order to eat it. It's not creative, it's lazy. The dressing was also missing from the order so when I returned to get it I was surprised by the attitude from staff. Maybe this is just an drinking spot, if you decide you want to give it a try be sure to take good care of your server and bartenders so they have something to look forward to, because it really seems to me no one wants to be there. My girlfriend and I went for a bite and some drinks. I was craving a good whiskey cocktail, and I definitely found the right spot. The vibe is very low key, good music, not too loud. I had the vieux carre and and another of their whiskey house cocktails. Both were excellent. The bar tender let me sample almost everything, so I could truly see what i wanted. We had three appetizers to share. The proscuitto blue cheese stuffed dates (I'm still having dreams about them), the tuna tacos (my girlfriend was a huge fan), and the crispy brussels. We were here for brunch, it was amazing! $20 for a bottle of champagne with some OJ on the side, great deal and I like that I get to decide how much OJ to use. Our server, Russell was amazing!!! I had a great experience for brunch but when I came here last week the bartender lady was really rude. She took forever to serve us, it was two friends birthdays and she was very snappy. She forgot one of my orders then continued to tell me that I didn't order it. Not impressed. I was here on Trivia night a few weeks ago and the server was pretty good. Our team visited in June and it was awesome. So awesome, in fact, that when some of our co-workers came in from out of town, we figured WTF would be the perfect place to go. I made reservations for 11 (10 showed) and we opted to dine on the outdoor deck upstairs. Another perfect evening, weatherwise. We pretty much had the space to ourselves, but the service was really lacking. The bartender, who had a few folks sitting at the bar, was also our waiter. He was rushed and you could tell he didn't want to be bothered with us. When I asked about the chicken (it was ok), he told me that "everything here is good" - very short and borderline bossy with us. Unfortunate. I totally understand if being short-staffed is an issue, but I really don't enjoy feeling unwelcome. Probably won't return. read more

This is my wife and I's favorite bar to visit! We definitely feel as if it's part of our neighborhood and spend a considerable time there since moving into our neighborhood. The building was really cool. Stylish, new and creative. The roof top bar and seating area was also neat. No good views but you have the option to be outside. Wow oh wow.... Simply awful... The food was bland and greasy, the bartender was not attentive at all, and wait times for a drink were absurd. I like the other THG establishments, and food is usually consistent. However, the quality control in this kitchen is highly lacking. Our food was pretty much inedible. The bartender treated us as though we were more of a nuisance than anything, she was more concerned with talking to fellow co workers than paying us any mind. When our waiter came to take our drink order, we asked about the happy hour specials and he laughed at us. He ran through the list of happy hour drinks so fast, we couldn't even tell what he was saying. This place should be shut down. I still cannot believe what happened to us here and how it was handled. I live next door to WTF, and have frequented it for the past ~1 year with friends/neighbors for the occasional drink and meal. Never have we had an "above average" experience here...never. The food is decent at best and overpriced. However, WTF is very close to us and has a nice rooftop, so we have historically been able to get past the price-quality disconnect. What I can say with 100% confidence after my year of visiting Whiskey Tango is that the service is consistently absolutely terrible, as evidenced by the other reviews on this page. Service is slow, the entire wait staff is rude, and there is a noticeable attitude across the entire staff. Someone else nailed it on their review when they said their servers "seemed annoyed" that they (as paying customers!) were there. What transpired at WTF on my last (and FINAL) visit is so out-of-this-world and absurd that I have to take to Yelp to get this out there. A small group of us stopped by to grab a beer on the rooftop on a Sunday evening. It was not a busy night at all. We waited one of the many open tables for almost 20 minutes while the wait staff blatantly ignored us. One waitress even looked directly at us and continued stocking condiments and rolling silverware. Experienced as we are with the "attitude" at Whiskey Tango, we knew we'd be much better off just going to the bar to get our drinks and then sit back down at our table. As we made our way to the bar, a friend of mine decided to finally say something to the waitress that had been ignoring us. I kid you not, all he said was, "So were we just not going to get service or what?" And this woman loses it. Starts yelling and cursing that she was busy...(stocking condiments...?!) We were stunned. Then the bartender jumps in and kind of calms her down and tells us it's all good and he will take care of us at the bar. So we order our drinks in utter disbelief and discomfort. We start talking amongst ourselves about what just happened, trying to clear the confusion of what set her off. And then things really escalated. Now pay attention here because I am still trying to wrap my head around the next part.... The bartender hears us talking and comes back over. I swear to god, we were minding our own business and he said this to us: "Are you still talking about this? If you can't let it go, then you need to get the f** out of my bar." SPEECHLESS. NEVER have I EVER been treated this way, or witnessed someone be treated this way. Anywhere. You are absolutely right that we are still talking about it. Your wait staff ignored us, as they do to MANY customers. Happened to us many times before, and happened to many of our friends before. We finally said something. And these people literally flipped out on us. So I calmly try to tell him "look - we've been coming here for a while and the service has always been a bit of an issue. When people come here and spend money, they expect to receive prompt service and not be made to feel like they are some kind of inconvenience to you." Seriously, you can't make this stuff up. Swear to god - we were calm and just shocked at what was happening. This guy freaks out on me. He slams his mixer down on the bar and goes into a rant about how the staff "isn't anyone's slaves" and "they don't work for you"...... This is the cherry on top, and perfectly illustrates the WTF attitude and mindset of conducting business. My friend tells the bartender that we live nearby and come in here pretty often, and that we won't ever be coming back. Again, can't make this up. THE BARTENDER SAYS THIS TO US! "Good - we don't need f***in customers like you." And storms off. There was one other girl at the bar next to us and I think she is still trying to get her jaw off the floor. We all just sat in pure disbelief and looked at each other. Literally unbelievable. Needless to say we left. And will never, ever, ever be back. And our other friends will never, ever, ever be back. And the other people at the bar that saw all of this take place will never, ever, ever be back. But luckily for WTF, they don't need customers like any of us anyways. read more

It wasn't just to us, which honestly was no surprise but they were even snotty to someone delivering their food. Great local and craft beers! Food is sub par unfortunately or this place would have 5 stars. Needs a broader selection for food with more variety. Atmosphere is wonderful. People are also very friendly at this bar which is a huge plus for a non local. I was new to town and people walked right up to me to welcome me! My boyfriend, son and I went here for dinner tonight and are soon disappointed. We live right next door and have been here a total of three times. The first time was when they first opened and they didn't have bacon (it was breakfast) or ranch (I like to have a salad with brunch sometimes) and our food was super overpriced. The second time we went was on our big snow day and we were so excited to go to somewhere that was open and we could walk to. When we go there the staff was soo annoyed and made us feel unwelcome because they wanted to go home, we almost left. I get it, its crappy out (the one guy mentioned he hit something on the way to work) but if you're on the schedule and have to be there, you might as well make some money and try to make the best of it. There was maybe a total of 5 people total in the bar, by the time we left it was packed. We split the cheese curds and brussels sprouts, which are good, and a few beers. The third an final time was this evening. First off, they are so disorganized as a staff I'm not sure how they even get through a day. We sat upstairs on the balcony because it was beautiful tonight. Its not too big, but big enough to enjoy some cocktails and sun. We sat at table that wasn't bussed because tables were limited. The waiter didn't take the old glasses and dirty napkins until he took or drink orders, came back to drop them off, and we had to ask him if he could please take the old cups and napkins away. Our waiter was very nice until we told him our chicken looked so weird and looked grey. It was not appetizing looking, so gross. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my shrimp was undercooked, we didn't say anything because we felt bad. My son said his burger was pretty good and I made sure to check it was cooked after we noticed ours, it was. Our waiter was pretty annoyed with us after we complained, and we could tell for the rest of our time there. I think their happy hour of buy one get one has to keep these guys going-its not the overpriced weird cooked food:( BTW, they still don't have bacon. read more

I will NEVER be going here ever again! A girlfriend and I met one of our guy friends here for drinks before going out for the night. We order a round of drinks and two orders of fries to snack on. It was a Friday night but surprisingly empty. We waited quite some time and no drinks, saw the bartender chatting and walking from behind the bar.....still no drinks. COLD fries came out....still no drinks. When we asked the gentlemen that dropped our fries off were our drinks were he said he would send our waiter over. Our less than helpful waiter came over and explained that fries cook quicker than it takes to make a drink. Umm what?! It takes longer to poor a whiskey and ginger ale than it does to cook food....and proceed to allow said food to get cold? Um ok...our drinks finally came and we drank them quickly expected to be offered another round. Again we waited and waited in the nearly empty restaurant to no avail. When the waiter finally came back he handed us our check without offering us another round. I told him if had he came back to check on us we would of not only ordered more drinks but food as well. We simply asked him for our check so we could leave. He proceeded to invite the manager over to our table, who we DID NOT ASK FOR. This only made the situation worse. The jerk manager proceeded to correct me when I said the drinks were watery and the food was cold by saying "Ha there's no way the drink were watery." I moved here from portland oregon... and I'm so happy i found this little place! The reason why I give this place 5 stars is because of Eli! I have never met a bartender that after one visit remembers your name and your drink.. a month later I sit at the bar he says "Jordan.. a vodka soda with lime right?... after that it's a no Brainer on where to grab a drink. This rating is related to the many times I have ordered WTF, and they have completely botched my order. The first time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But I'm on my 10th time and it is ridiculous. I love the food at WTF, however, if the staff isn't competent enough to consistently get orders correct. Then it doesn't mater how god the food is, because I never get to eat what I order. No one is performing quality assurance to make sure that customers are getting what they order. It's frustrating to pay for something and not be able to get it. People order out food for many reasons. As customers, we should be able to depend on the restaurant to take our orders seriously. I'm incredibly disappointed. So be cautioned when trying to order from WTF. You will definitely NOT get what you pay for. read more

I am impressed. I went for a Women's Whiskey tasting event that my friend invited me along to. The whiskey event was awesome, the wait staff was so friendly and good at checking up at the right intervals and the food was delicious. We tried the spicy ahi tuna sandwich, the fried fish sandwich and an brussel sprout appetizer in a balsamic sauce. All came out fresh and delicious. I an looking forward to my next visit. read more

I came here for a lunch with some coworkers. And it was disappointing from start to finish. The host was rude when we asked to sit outside (the place was completely empty). The menu is disorganized and overall unappealing. Our waitress mentioned a BLT special, which we ordered and asked if we wanted fries or salad. We chose salad and she neglected to mention that the salad (a pathetic portion of spring mix with raw onion and a tomato) was $4.50. The BLTs were tasteless and soggy, and not worth the 14$ sandwich plus the $4.50 salad. The place seems to have an ego which I don't understand because quite frankly everything about it sucks. read more
