I have an unlimited car wash each month. On Tuesday, September 8, I went there for a wash. Normally there is someone at the start of the wash who directs you onto rails. He also uses a soapy solution with "mop" to prewash to remove "imbedded" insect remains on windshield. Today he was there picking his teeth and no prewash in sight. After the wash process, the bug bodies were still glued to the front windshield. I then went to vacuum area that has glass and geneal purpose spray and cloths to wipe. I went to two different hanging canisters, neither of which had any dry towels. I walked up to 3 employees who were talking and laughing and had to ask them to refill the containers which one of them immedaiely came and checked and filled each one. I forgot to mention that the nozzle came off the vacuum hose and I had to physically hold it in place because I could not figure out how to keep it in place. read more

Whistle Express Car Wash had been bad but really got worse when they closed last week without notice. As a Wash Club monthly member I received no advance notice. There were no signs indicating the closing the week prior to closing when I was there. There is no message in their phone line and no one to answer the phone. Their corporate website indicates that they are "Temporarily Closed" but no other information is provided. I tried to cancel my monthly Membership last week but no one answers the phone and their chat function on their website is ineffective. After leaving messages to a corporate number and submitting a contact request on their website I received an email. They indicated they would cancel my membership but would still charge this month's charge because I didn't submit a cancellation request 7 days prior to renewal. No where on their website does it indicate there is a 7 days prior to billing cancellation policy. You can't even find a way to cancel your Memebership on their website. Considering the location is closed and there is not another location anywhere near my location, I am not getting anything for the monthly charge. Even if they eventually reopen, avoid at your own peril. read more

Please don't let the bad reviews steer you away! I love this place and I go there a lot. So much so, that I have a monthly subscription. I also drive "high end" cars and not once have had an issue with damage. I absolutely love that when my car needs a bath (and in March, it's daily), I can zip in the line, get my car cleaned up, and if I have time, I can pull into the bays and vacuum out the seats/floors and give it a thorough towel dry. Heck, you can even get an air freshener from the control room if you want a little something special for your ride. A little something else - it makes me smile to see how many teenagers work there. This is a business that does a nice job of supplementing the teenager economy. These kids are learning responsibility early and not all businesses are willing to be flexible or patient enough for those just starting in the workforce. read more

I know several of us had issues with this car wash when they first took over and for several months after as they replaced mgmt, equipment, staff. In recent weeks, including today (twice - 2 cars) I was very pleased with the cleanliness of my car, equipment available for my use and helpfulness of their staff. I'll chime in like others here. Camel wasn't that great to begin with, but the change to Whistle has made everything worse. No one is putting a dime into fixing broken things like the green light letting the driver know when they should leave the car wash. Seems that would be pretty important. One entry line is broken, the automated machine is broken to pay. Various other lights are busted....It just looks shoddy and that no one cares. I stopped in for a quick wash and vacuum. I paid $20 for a decent wash, however, I was unable to find any working vacuum or air duster. I approached the attendant to express my concerns. Basically, that the business was recently sold and the new owner could care less. This place is so poorly run. I have a membership here the managers come in smelling like weed neither of the lanes ever work half the time the automated system isn't working so they have to check you in each time when you expressed concern for how much this has gone downhill since being owned by camel, they do nothing. It doesn't look like whistle's putting much money into this place and if any other car wash opens up within 5 miles of my house I will join the membership. They scammed my 18 year old old son and he had no idea they signed him up for a monthly membership. He is in college 4 hours away and would never sign up. $220 later, he realized they were charging him monthly. They only reversed 4 charges and while I was there trying to deal with it all (you can't call, they don't answer - have to go in person) someone went through the line and they said it came in as my sons car- so they couldn't cancel it. Camel becomes Whistle Express (same parent company) so I sign up again thinking things are going to be better. Still equipment failures, long lines (due to lane closure) and more. I pull up a few weeks ago only to be told my monthly membership had been cancelled because I did not renew (at a higher rate) thru their new app. Despite this, I continue to be billed. I spoke to someone at corporate who promised to look into it and call me back. Guess what? No reply! And..now she will not answer her phone and has not returned my calls. I've been a member for years. Recently I had my car repainted and waited a month before washing it again for paint to cure. went through it once and their brushes scratched the heck out of my car. Its absolutely horrible all the scratches on the left side of my car. Since it was purchased by Whiste, this place is going down the drain. From respecting operating hours to equipment failure to customer service. They close sometime hours before the published time and they don't open on time. I've been at least 10 times and the washing tunnel always has equipment failure leaving the car half washed. read more

Every month our membership is debit on time from our account, but the car wash has become worse every time. Going there yesterday January 25th, mind you it's was very busy. Half the vacuum bays were closed and the spray bottles of cleaner don't work. Awful car wash in East Cobb. The payment machine touchscreens rarely work. They are usually out of towels. The two high school kids working there do nothing. I was there Saturday 10-1 and witnessed the entry gat fall on a car. The poor lady didn't know what to do so she backed-up into a Jaguar SUV. I asked who was in charge and was pointed towards a very young female manager. She was way more focused on hitting her vape pen than dealing with any paying customers.
