We had looked up…read morea place to have breakfast on our way home from Frankenmuth and this seemed like a nice family restaurant. When we sat down, our waitress, asked for our drink order and brought it probably within 10 minutes. At that point, the waitress said she would go get her pad to come and take our order. We probably waited another 20 minutes watching her run around the restaurant and finally asked another waitress if she could come take our order , so she called over our waitress who apologized for taking so long. We put in our order and saw the waitress walk over to the computer screen and enter our order. At that point we were waiting and we knew it was memorial day and things might take a little bit longer, so we were allowing for a little extra time however we noticed a table behind us and a table in front of us who had arrived after us, and not only place their order, but received their food while we were still waiting. The person I was with finally called another waitress over and said that we've been waiting over an hour for our food and he asked to speak to the owner or the manager because he was very upset about us waiting so long. At that point another new waitress came over and apologized and said that our waitress was in the back room having a meltdown over the situation and that she was going to buy our breakfast for us. My friend was very upset. I was a little more calm, but he said there's no way we are paying for this order. We've been here over an hour, that waitress walked away and then came back and said she wanted to verify our order so that everything was perfect on the order. we gave her specific details on our order and she went in the back and said it would come out quickly and I believe it it came out then in 20 minutes. My theory is that the first waitress somehow enter all the information in the computer and lost our order so that when that other waitress came back to check on the specifics of our order, she was actually taking our order from scratch and they had to go in the back and make it up brand new. The food was fine but maybe a little bit greasy, but with the whole fiasco with our order taking over an hour and a half and us watching other people come after us eat and leave while we're still waiting for our food was very upsetting. As soon as we got done eating, we just got up and left the restaurant. The first waitress never made any kind of apologies to us, and I thought that was a lack of professionalism and kind of tacky. Obviously, we would never go back here and I believe they need to come up with some new strategies for training their staff and telling them how to deal with customers and how to take orders properly.

You go for the Big Boy burger, fries, and that mix of mayo and ketchup on the side. You already know what you're walking into. That burger alone feels like you gain weight just looking at it, and honestly... that's the point. And you do not skip the Boston Cooler. That's non-negotiable. This spot, especially in Michigan, is one of those places you hit on the way in or out of Saginaw. It's part of the routine. Some locals might be over it, but if you didn't grow up around it, it's almost like a rite of passage. Does it need a deep clean? Probably. But you kind of make peace with that walking in. The mindset is simple: the food is cooked, you're here for the experience, and you know exactly what you're getting. It's one of those old-school, almost historic-feeling joints you just don't drive past. You stop, you order the classics, and you lean into it.

Literally every time we have the pleasure of going to this location the drive thru line takes 15-30mins, regardless of how many customers there are. And they fuck up every order that comes off the line. I really think the workers are so uneducated that they can't read the screen that shows them what to make. Maybe we should upgrade to picture books of how to make a hamburger. But wait there's more. Then they can not even make the correct drinks that are on they're own menu. After the second time of having the wrong drink given to me we just gave up. I'd rather drink out of the puddle in the parking lot then ever order from this restaurant again. Maybe let's start the grills an let this fucker burn to the ground. Except it workers wouldn't be smart enough to leave the premises.

The bake shops are Canadian in origin but can be found in about a dozen states in the Eastern/Midwestern U.S. They are also represented in a few foreign countries such as Ireland, The Philippines, Qatar and even China. Baked goods include donuts, cookies, muffins and Timbits, their signature bite sized donut holes. STEVEN E. weighs in: It's a matter of apples and oranges with me. They were open from six am for drive through only until after nine am so we drove through and made our choices: Sausage Burrito and Hash Browns for my wife and the same plus a Bacon Crunchwich for me. We pulled ahead to pay and pick up our order. The order came out as fast as our receipt and we pulled ahead to a parking spot to eat! The Hash Browns were hot, crunchy, and very good, similar to that at a McDonalds. The Sausage Burritos were hot and tasty and we didn't need to add any extra salsa. The Crunchwich was similar to the Burritos but a bit bigger and crunchy with Bacon. Hollie, who processed and delivered our order, was cheerful and pleasant making for an overall positive experience!
