Really love this spot! The inside is cute, the fireplace is cozy and the bar tenders are really nice. They remade my drink after I mentioned I didn't like it, made good recommendations, and were accommodating. It's never super crowded in there either, which is great. Their crab chips are bomb (when they have them) and their cocktails are good! I'm not the biggest fan of their fall menu but the classics are good to order. We always comeback to this place !

No notes for white cap. Amazing cocktails, ambiance, bartenders, and overall vibes. Perfect for a date night!

Hidden gem in the Sunset. Cocktails are absolutely the best in the district. Original. Unique. And most of all, reasonably priced. OB regular. My favorite spot in the city! Don't sleep on White Cap, or if you do, more for me

Came here after reading about this bar and its cozy fireplace. We ended up coming on a warm afternoon, so we actually opted to sit outside in the parklet. On a Saturday afternoon the inside had a low key and casual, yet still classy vibe, while the outside was very casual. Their menu had a handful of specialty cocktails, some highballs, and some liquor centric classics. They also had a huge liquor selection. I opted for a specialty cocktail - the MOMA, and my boyfriend a classic - the maple hammer. We both really liked the flavor of our drinks and their presentation. Also enjoyed watching them be made. The service here was really great! Unfortunately I didn't get our bartender's name, but shoutout to him because after my bf spilled much of my drink he was happy to replace it for us! Definitely want to come back here on a cool evening to hangout by the fireplace!

This nonchalant neighborhood bar is zee best! With their seasonal rotation of their menus, you'll never get bored. It doesn't get too busy given the location so absolutely perfect for a chillaxin' day to boost up. Nice staff and most of all, delicious and beautiful drinks! (No food) The MOMA was one of my favorites - floral beauty.

This is one of my favorite bars in SF. I love the drinks and ambience here. They have a menu that changes periodically and their current one is themed around SF and its history. The drinks are tasty and inventive and the interior looks upscale but the vibe remains casual and relaxed. For those who love cozy fireplaces, they have a nice fireplace! If you watch sports, they do put the game on the tv. I highly recommend this bar to anyone in or visiting SF.

Cute small bar with a few outdoor tables. They have seating area inside as well. Ordered a few drinks here and they were really good.

Our waitress was super friendly and great in serving us throughout our meal. Both of our favorite things that we ate was actually their $5 happy hour fish tacos. We were so surprised and loved the fact we ate that last. The only thing I was taken aback was that the oysters were not chucked entirely properly and there was one that was pretty bad that I couldn't order more oysters like I wanted to, I think it wasn't as fresh. If I could give a 3.5 I would because of that bad oyster I ate. But overall good spot! And I would highly recommend the fish tacos!

Unless maybe if you're not a local regular customer. As a non-local, I came upon it as I was walking on Taraval all the way from Ocean Beach. I felt badly I didn't order a proper stiff drink, so I tried to make up for it in the tip. Months later, I found myself returning on a rather nippy afternoon. As luck would have, just as I took a seat at the bar (and not the one shaped like a concave set of cheeks), I saw a hand drawn chalkboard advertising "Tito's Borghetti Espresso Martinis $12". Yep, that was it for me (Photo 7). The Tito's brand really made the difference, especially the Caffè Borghetti Espresso Liqueur. Very smooth with just the right amount of kick. Meanwhile, the true regulars were socializing with each other like an episode of "Cheers". I just need to take a long ride on the L-Taraval MUNI line to get here. We started off with the beet salad and warm focaccia with olive oil, garlic, and balsamic vinegar. The combination of hot bread with sweet, cool beets was a perfect contrast. The beets were perfectly cooked and came with crunchy, candied pecans over a light bed of whipped ricotta. I could not get enough, especially of the candied pecans. The focaccia was perfectly cooked and super light and fluffy. You can tell that the olive oil and balsamic vinegar are of the highest quality and the dip paired so well with the bread. For our mains, my husband got the rigatoni while I got the gnocchi carbonara (at the waiter's suggestion). Both of us were extremely happy with our choices. I'm used to getting gnocchi dishes that are super dense and doughy but in this dish, it was melting in your mouth. The infusion of the duck flavors really came through in the sauce and you had crispy meat sprinkled on top as well to give a contrasting texture to the rest of the dish. The rigatoni came with a couple of meatballs and sausages that you can tell are freshly made in house as they were tender and flavorful. The marinara sauce had a hint of sweetness with the tartness of the tomato sauce to balance it out. The pasta might have been a hair undercooked but it didn't make the dish any less delicious. For dessert, we ended with a chocolate tiramisu - a bed of moist, chocolate cake with a layer of coffee cream and cream on top, it was a delicious twist on the classic dish. We both agreed that we can't wait for our next visit back to Ofena!

Service was wonderful and the manager warmly greeted us with champagne for having happened to be there on their 2 year anniversary. It's not often these days that I find everything on the menu intriguing but we definitely had trouble deciding on what to pick from. What I ended up loving the most were the "sides" which were main dishes in and of themselves in terms of how much flavor was packed into them! For example, the Gigante Beans were so delicious that we tried to replicate them at home the following week. I loved how colorful and tasty the Squash Cabonata side was. Also loved the Pea and Asparagus salad which was beautifully plated, well-textured dish-- I liked that they were small bite sized cuts of crispy asparagus, and sprinkled with some pea shoots. The Gnocchi Carbonara, Saffron Risotto dish, and the polenta side were all very tasty, but I think it was an error to order all three since they were all a bit creamy/heavy. Overall a wonderful spot for dinner!
