What a horribly run place. Pulled up at 8 am, 1 car in the drive thru. Drove to the lane that was empty. Sat there, and nobody ever came on. Another car rolled up to the first lane, and they started taking his order. I backed up and went in the first lane. They tell me to please hold. Went there at 2 o'clock in the morning. One car in the other lane. There was no pickles or ketchup on any of our burgers. It took an additional 10 minutes to get our drinks, but I could tell that the girl was trying and was learning. I'm pretty sure it was the manager standing next to her watching her struggle the whole time when they could've been assisting her. Seems like management isn't up to par. I can see this location going down pretty soon if changes aren't made regardless of whether or not you're brand new you shouldn't have this many issues. I hate when I don't get all the items I paid for. I ordered from the pickup window since both of their speakers were not working. I ordered 6 items but only got 5. I just have to remember to always look before I leave & that is all places. Not sure why they can't count the items to make sure all is there. I tried the sloppy joes-the smokey & spicy and not too bad. I never got my double double. I got the impossible for my hubby since he is a vegetarian & he thought it was pretty good. I also got the onion chips which were pretty tasty & got the Tropical Coke Zero which was very yummy. Next time I'm going to the Scottsdale store since I never have problems with that one & they are usually busy. Waited 5 minutes in the drive through and never got attended. Walked inside and the guy came out from the cook line and took my order and after he was done went back to making food with out changing his gloves or washing his hands he then proceeded to hop back and fourth from the drive through taking orders to the cook line. I came here for some sliders. The service was fine and the place was clean. The rest of the slider seemed about right, but the beef patty was WAY over cooked. Oh man.....my daughter wanted White Castle and it was just the worst drive thru experience ..we sat in line for about 45 min to 1 hour with 4 cars ahead of us ....what was the hold up?! Each customer I. Front only got handed a regular bag of food so it wasn't like they ordered bundles and bundles of these nasty things ... by the time we get to the window, probably 5 cars jumped ship from behind us and they were trying to confirm my order ...so get my food finally Then another 5 min wait for my 2 drinks.... There was trash all over the floor by the drive thru bay and just seemed super unorganized ...the food here does not justify an hour wait especially only 4 cars deep ...yikes ...first time here and prob the last just not worth the hassle No apologies for the wait...discount offered ...hell free meal at that point waiting around for so long ...don't see this lasting with service like that ...overpriced ...mid food at best and that's being generous lol read more

Unbelievable restaurant and area. It has a White Castle, a Hilton Hotel, a clean Circle K, Bubbas, and a HUGE Amazon Warehouse. Brought Warren his coffee from Bikini's. Hope you loved it dude. But this is about the White Castle. It's brand new, clean as can possibly get, and feels just like the original. I've never tasted a burger like this. It's so fresh, same with the fries. I've honestly never had White Castle from the restaurant before, only the frozen burgers. Anyone who says they taste the same, has never been to White Castle. It is literally just like the movie Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. Now the staff, world class. I've never seen so many perfect humans in one place. They make the entire area hum to perfection. That's the reason why I'm writing this. Just so we're clear, this is the location in Goodyear, Arizona. It wouldn't pop up on the map, limited service. But trust me, it's just as good as the original in Illinois. And the main reason I'm writing is again, the staff. I've been up for over 24 hours, haven't eaten in the same amount of time, and now I'm gonna go home and rest after working all day and night. I want to personally thank the staff for the hospitable treatment they graced upon me. They are truly doing His work and I told them that. Imani, you were the point man. You made it all happen. Wouldn't be writing this without you. Xavier, when Imani wasn't around, you answered every question I had. Thanks for being a good teacher. And Tia, don't change a single bit in any single way. The manager was arguing with a customer that was overcharged and telling customer I can cancel your order! She didn't even offer to adjust price! Sure we had to wait in a long line but if you're a fan of WC or lived in the Midwest, you wait. I feel bad for employees but I am guessing their shift goes by real fast. Parking lot is way too cramped. Only one register so line moves terribly slow. Only one universal drink machine that is a bit confusing and very low causing a long wait to get your drink. Food is bland at best, burgers (sliders) are very small and way over priced. Fries and onion chips are also very bland and poorly cooked. Terrible value. Finally get to the window and people are walking around and don't even acknowledge that I'm there, but had plenty of time to stand around, drink soda and talk to each other. We visited the White Castle in Goodyear, Az. on 6/28/2024. We were excited that there was a new location a little closer to us so decided to check it out. What a disappointment. They were out of a lot of drinks in their soda machine and were out of ice until we told someone at the counter. The napkins were also out until we mentioned it. They did put some out shortly after. The order taker struggled to take our order however everyone was new so understandable. The credit card terminal was a challenge, the order taker mentioned they were having problems all day with it. The food was okay not great like the other location in Scottsdale. The floor had food all over it and under tables. The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived however the drive-thru was busy. Lots of employees, but no manager was seen. Would we return to this location probably not. I wish I had taken pictures. read more

I understand that they are new to the west valley and still relatively new to AZ in general. I am from NJ and grew up on WC. They were not ready for the volume missing small things like pickles and ketchup on the cheese burgers. Fish sandwich was dry and didn't taste great. Food not hot. Missed an item that we ordered, confirmed on the screen, but not in the bag. Thankfully we weren't charged. They have one more chance with me. May be worth the trip to Tempe or Scottsdale. Burgers are bland and expensive! Waited a long time for this meal and was not happy. Food was not hot. You get a piece of a pickle per burger. Cheese was not melted. Cold. Packets of condiments offered. Guy at the register was nice though. Midwest locations serves hot food with pickles and ketchup and mustard mixture at your request. Only 10 cars in line. Took 55 minutes to get Luke warm food. Onion rings were not riings but chunks of Onion rings, very disappointed and undercooked inside but outside was overcooked and very brown. That means oil didn't get changed. Ordered burgers with jalapeños and never received them. Burgers were only Luke warm. Was disappointed that there weren't any Sloppy Joe's on menu. The app is kinda buggy and not very user friendly. At the time of writing this review I have to click in cart each time to see the cost of an item. Also they give an option to pick up in the dinning room or drive thru. However each time the doors are locked and I am still require to use the drive thru and talk with the stupid AI. After I got home and looked through my order I notice that I'm missing a sandwich. I tried calling the number but no answer. Looked at the receipt in my email and couldn't find anywhere to reach out to someone at all. Most places have printed somewhere how our service is or how is the food? But White Castle doesn't seem to care about feedback or option. After searching on website for a contact us I found it. Let's just say it's not very user friendly also. The amount of information they want from you just to leave a feedback. Both times I have went was after 10pm and the employees were not friendly or seem to happy. I hope this locations improve and enough people have the patients to leave a feedback. As of right now I think I'll stick to the frozen one at the store. UPDATE: Changed my rating to a 4. The 3 Air Force members in front of me had ordered 4 crave cases which slowed them down. And yes, the food was as good as we know! Here now. This place is ridiculous, no wonder I never see any cars there, you can't get food. 11:15pm on 1/18. Pull up and place order using their AI ordering (gets it perfect, all listed looking good) say the magic words "that's it" get an error message and instruction a team member will be with me. 5 minutes and nothing. Thinking it's just a random tech glitch o end up driving all the way around and going to the other ordering spot. Same thing AI perfect order then Error screen. 5 more minutes go by and no team member. This time with nobody behind me I back up and re-approach and wait the 1 minutes staring at it time out to not use the AI. A few more minutes go by and finally the person offers to take my order. No sloppy Joe sliders, no strawberry shake. So half my order is apparently unavailable but I place alternate items and proceed to behind the car at the window. I can clearly see my order on their DOS based screens "4 x 1921" and the timer. I finally gave up at 18 minutes on the timer, car in front of me still there and couldn't see anyone working any more, the two guys that looked like they were slowly doing something strolled away.... I've seen some disastrous situations but this was a whole new level. Seriously management review the video..... insane. More than 40 minutes, 2 cars total and still didn't get my food. read more
