UPDATE: Changed my rating to a 4. The 3 Air Force members in front of me had ordered 4 crave cases which slowed them down. And yes, the food was as good as we know! Here now. Not what I expected, but then again just another fast food joint. Customer service was good, but the food was gross to my wife and myself. She couldn't finish the first chicken slider, I chocked down only 1 burger. Fries were meh, I could taste the oil in the onion chips. All the sauces they had, have terrible ingredients for you inside of them. We ended up throwing away our food and went home to make dinner. $27 down the drain but a reminder I won't be returning. read more

The app is kinda buggy and not very user friendly. At the time of writing this review I have to click in cart each time to see the cost of an item. Also they give an option to pick up in the dinning room or drive thru. However each time the doors are locked and I am still require to use the drive thru and talk with the stupid AI. After I got home and looked through my order I notice that I'm missing a sandwich. I tried calling the number but no answer. Looked at the receipt in my email and couldn't find anywhere to reach out to someone at all. Most places have printed somewhere how our service is or how is the food? But White Castle doesn't seem to care about feedback or option. After searching on website for a contact us I found it. Let's just say it's not very user friendly also. The amount of information they want from you just to leave a feedback. Both times I have went was after 10pm and the employees were not friendly or seem to happy. I hope this locations improve and enough people have the patients to leave a feedback. As of right now I think I'll stick to the frozen one at the store. Disappointing. The seating is more limited than expected. The line of people bisects the seating area and blocks access to the ONE drink machine. The fries were hot, but my sliders were nearly room temperature. You had one job... Luckily, you can walk to the nearby QT and heat them up in the microwave. F that. This place is ridiculous, no wonder I never see any cars there, you can't get food. 11:15pm on 1/18. Pull up and place order using their AI ordering (gets it perfect, all listed looking good) say the magic words "that's it" get an error message and instruction a team member will be with me. 5 minutes and nothing. Thinking it's just a random tech glitch o end up driving all the way around and going to the other ordering spot. Same thing AI perfect order then Error screen. 5 more minutes go by and no team member. This time with nobody behind me I back up and re-approach and wait the 1 minutes staring at it time out to not use the AI. A few more minutes go by and finally the person offers to take my order. No sloppy Joe sliders, no strawberry shake. So half my order is apparently unavailable but I place alternate items and proceed to behind the car at the window. I can clearly see my order on their DOS based screens "4 x 1921" and the timer. I finally gave up at 18 minutes on the timer, car in front of me still there and couldn't see anyone working any more, the two guys that looked like they were slowly doing something strolled away.... I've always loved White Castle, however I have actually zero clue what happened the night I came through here. We ordered 20 cheese sliders and pulled up to the "window" and the guy working it was so extremely condescending and rude. I asked for a water and he looks at me confused, and says "ummmm? Like a water bottle?" While gesturing his hands around. I asked what options they have for sauce and he looked at me like I was plain stupid and paused before saying "umm... like.. regular sauces?" He got so close to my car at this point that my friend in the passenger seat literally thought he was going to harm me????? At this point we have been waiting for about 20 minutes. Not really a problem--but, once we got them, NONE of them had cheese! So we turned back and kindly let the same guy know. He immediately starts with "well I rang them in as cheese sliders...." and I said well none of them have cheese, and he says "yeah..... but I put them in as cheese sliders" so I ask if he wants to LOOK at the sandwiches and he walks over and shows me the receipt that says "cheese sliders". I was speechless I had no idea what he wanted from me at this point. He told me they were being remade. The manager comes and says he will throw in a few small fries for our trouble, which we kindly accepted. Once we got the food (another 20 minutes later) WE DIDNT GET THE FRIES!!!! The food was horrible. It tasted like how food tastes after you microwave it the next day. I was so disappointed that I even wasted my money on this. Definitely not like the white castle I grew up on. Also, you can see the associates making your food and they have on gloves, but they touch everything like door knobs, the button to open up the door by the register, etc., then go right back to touching food without changing their gloves (I witnessed the manager doing this - young heavy set white girl with glasses). The AI drive through is actually a joke. It doesn't work, it's time consuming, the workers seem confused because of it. We got to the window and the girl taking payment charged us for the wrong order so it took two managers to figure out how to do a refund. I grew up in the greater Chicagoland area in the 60s and ate a lot of white castle burgers when they were much less expensive. I frequently purchase frozen sliders from Sam's club and microwave them at home. The ones at the restaurant in Goodyear just did not please me. Though they were hot and well prepared they just did not taste the same as the product I grew up with. The onions were lacking and pickles were missing on some sandwiches. The restaurant staff worked hard and seemed to be quite organized but my simple order for four cheese sliders, 2 fish sandwiched and medium fries took almost 20 minutes. Probably will not go back due to high item cost, (low value for the price) and slow service. read more

Hello, I don't wanna come off as rude but not gonna lie, the burgers here are also frozen ahha. The ones they sell in stores are a lot better sadly. They did also mess up our order, there was no ice in the soda machine and it took about 10 minutes to fill but that's understandable because it was a bit busy and there were many flies that kept landing on us and our food. Not going to last long if this is the norm. First and last visit. Pulled up to the drive through at 10pm on Sunday, decent amount of cars in both lanes. We were in this line for 45 minutes! The dining room was closed so they were not dealing with customers inside. The AI menu boards are not likely doing them any favors there is a lag and they are monitored by real people anyway - so why not just have people take the orders. Not sure what the hold up was, but if after a month you don't have a handle on it - poor management. The workers were trying their best and were apologetic in their demeanor-but never apologized for the epic wait times or gave any indication what the issue was. The view inside the restaurant, everything was a jumbled mess. Set your people us for success! You are going to lose customers and your business if you don't address the issues now. Sat in the drive thru for a few and noticed the right lane was just not moving but the left lane is moving and at a pretty good pace, I switch over to the left side and get up to the monitor to see its Al meaning a robot is taking your order which is awesome. But we live in AZ we all know how incompetent some people are, the reason the right lane was taking so long was because the person who was trying to order wasn't getting the Al to work and fix her order. If you have to customize anything you have to use the right words. Obviously its frustrating but why the fancy ordering system whats wong with taking the order from the person to person. It would probably speed things up. Well i guess i can talk about the food but i have nothing nice to say: soggy sliders and they just tasted off. Not worth the wait of 45mins but the experience was okay. I assume the manager is the older guy in the colorful shirt he offered free food which is cool but the free food we got was also old looking and FISH sandwiches yuck!! Aint nobody want that.
