Well well well!!! Ok didn't know White Castle does this every year!!! First experience and i loved it!! Normally they serve you in the restaurant for Valentines day, but this year, they serve you in the parking lot. It was an amazing experience, thanks to White Castle and all the employees made a our day special!! You do not need to spend so much money, this was nicely setup, presented and served. Plus our pictures were taken, and will print our picture and give it to us in a frame next year if we attend again. We got a candle with a holder, cupcakes, plus extra smiles!!!! read more

Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE WHITE CASTLES!!! However, if I could rate a negative 1000 I would! 1) employees aren't wearing masks! 2)only taking cash even though they do t tell you that until you get to the window! 3) we were literally in the drive they over an hour. 4) got to the window, and I was informed the cash register was broken so they manually were calculating orders. Apparently, this location hires illiterate and uneducated people. Our order should've be approximately $12-15 but the guy told us $22....I said excuse me, he then says hold up I may have added wrong....you're dog on right you added wrong!!! Stay away from this store. I have been ordering the 10-pack of burgers now that they are on sale. I select double pickles, mustard, and ketchup. This is my 10-12th order that didn't come the way it was ordered, no pickles, no ketchup, or mustard, Today we asked for mustard, and they tossed it in the bag, it was Dijon mustard. Very unprofessional when you can't make an order correctly, something a 2-year-old can do. I called and spoke to someone who learned her first words, OK as that is all she said multiple times, ok, ok, ok. Didn't even offer to replace the order so was forced to file a dispute. I'm not sure where all the bad/negative reviews come from but I'm sure the folks leaving them aren't right in the head. I've come here several times, all the way from the City (yup!) and have never encountered any problems.The managers here are absolutely amazing and so is the staff. I've never had any issues with my food or the cleanliness of the facility. I love this place and the people who work here so much so that my family and I decided to spend our Valentine's Day here. Double yup! And once again, no problems. The place shuts down completely for walk in customers. The only thing that stays open is the drive through. I found it annoying that people who didn't have reservations (you needed one) would consist be knocking on the door and asking to use the restrooms. They let them in too. I bet if they wouldn't have they would have left a bad review. Yelp is a great too but don't let it fool you. There are bitter folks out there and plenty without common sense. read more

I placed an order on Grubhub and there were multiple problems with my order. I had to place an order 3 times because it accidentally got cancelled, they sent it with the wrong driver and then the last time I believe they just didn't wanna make the food. When I called to speak with someone who works there, she was very rude over the phone and unprofessional. I have been placing orders for the last two hours now. I would NEVER order from Here again. The food was White Castles thumbs up! Management needs more training to deal with issues and customers. We purchase food tried to leave the parking lot we can't leave the parking lot because they close the parking lot between 2pm and 3pm. We weren't the only ones trapped in the parking lot cars climb off the curb to get out a real safety hazard. (10/27/23) Even after the parking lot was cleared, we still had to wait with on apology. My level of expectation was extremely low - But, nevertheless - fries arrived soggy and just not cooked. Quality of the food was really poor; Much better @ the Bell Blvd and/or Astoria location. What can you say? Cast of characters in attendance were savory. Employees appeared to be having too enjoyable of a time. Would avoid this location, given my thoughts. I don't frequently eat a lot of White Castles but when I do have the craving for it I always order from the Rockaway location. Personally, the fries have a a lot of flavor than others locations I've eaten in and the service is usually quick. I did have a hiccup today with my delivery which I was really upset about which I contacted the restaurant and complained. I basically was missing most of my order which was for a small gathering. Looking back, I realized that it wasn't completely their fault since the Uber eats driver left without my entire order. Things happen and they were very apologetic about it. Sorry for being so upset and at the end of day, the food was still great( we just had to go pick it up because Uber guy left, lol). Overall, the food is always fresh and tasty! read more

Low quality food. I expected so much more. We tried the sliders with onion, chicken pieces and fries. We ordered via drive-thru and the customer service was quite polite and friendly. The fries were clearly frozen for a long time because they had that stale freezer burn taste and were overly starchy and gross. I dont know how this stuff passes as even fast food these days. Its junk! Same with the chicken pieces, but these were semi edible while they were still warm at least. These were like chicken tenders made at home or similar to a microwave quality chicken. The little burgers themselves were tasty but very poorly constructed and overly greasy. We opened a couple up and they all had barely any ketchup etc on them. Some had a pickle, some did not. Been coming here for a long time, it's White Castle what more can I say.... Sliders, onion rings, fries . Best to eat right off the grill when you get 'em fresh...don't wait to take 'em home.... Ask for xtra steam on them it makes them a litte softer and moister. The one woman that works the drive thru during the day was very friendly and just Damn nice!!!! I've been eating White Castle since my childhood in the Bronx. I stopped to pick up frozen WC at a market in Flu-shing. When I called my son he said "hey the frozen aren't the same! Can you get fresh ones!!??" So I wondered, gee where is there a WC on the way home? And I Yelped and saw the one near Aqueduct on Rockaway Blvd. So I headed down Woodhaven and picked up a #7. 10 regular two fries and two small drinks. I was soooo hungry I started eating them in the car But gee they tasted a little "flat!" Maybe my tastebuds weren't on all eight cylinders? Not enough chopped onions or ketchup. A bit disappointed. But I was starving anyway and they hit the spot. My son thought they were ok when I got them home. Gotta work on the old family recipe folks!!! read more

Sometimes I crave these sliders. Love to go and order drive-thru . I stick to the original sliders. Made fresh to order, 3-5 depending how hungry I am. The chopped onions, the square patty,pickles. Only White Castle that doesn't get me sick! The employees are curiously friendly here. I always get an extra sandwich or two (free) when I come late at night. They have the smallest and most narrow drive thru ever- if you have a suv, pull all the way right and then attempt the turn. If you're a bad driver, just park and go inside. Employees: Professional and friendly the two times I've gone inside. Actually it's much better than when I last came here back in 2011. Food: Hit and miss. Odd note: I ordered a chocolate shake. I'm pretty sure, the worker just gave me straight chocolate ice cream because I was handed the cup 30 seconds later. Location: It's located next to the Cozy Bowl. John Adams High School is located right up the street. It can get very crowded towards the end of the school day but that's expected. It's also been mostly clean each time I went inside and it's usually busy in the morning and towards the dinner hour. I see lots of people dining in the small dining room. Once upon a life time in my childhood days I came here to indulge on the mini hamburgers while hours later my body rejected it for a long-haul visit with the Porcelain King. Service is as equally comparable to McDonald's for the disorganization of lines for ordering and picking up. McDonald's in conjuction with White Castle and other fast food chain restaurants are the main reason for quiting in the fast food sector. White castle has really stepped up their game. It's not really a spot I frequent but on the way home from the get I need a quick bite. I do love their onion rings , it's one of the safest items on the menu, at least for me it is. I saw the veggie sliders advertised and went to check it out. 1 ice tea, 2 veggie sliders, large onion rings a a small order of fries later I am still alive and made it home with no issues!. Lol. The veggie sliders were not bad at all. Nice green colorful veggie mix with seeds, I think sunflower seeds. No one could tell me exactly what it was made of, but they were good. They offer a choice of sweet thai, honey mustard and ranch sauces. I like sweet Thai and it was a very pleasant surprise. Even though, I really wanted a LARGE chocolate shake, I went with the ice tea. All in all, I say try it at least once, you may like it. Great place to pig out after enjoying a great time at Rockaway beach with your girlfriend. The place is small but the burgers are served fresh. Me and my girlfriend shared the number 7 combo which are 10 original sliders, two orders of fries and two medium drinks priced around $14.00 which is not bad. We also added an order of onion rings (make sure you get that zesty sauce which taste great with the burgers also!), a double cheeseburger (because I'm greedy) and an order of chicken rings. We had 5 original sliders and 5 with jalapeño cheese. We destroyed the whole meal and didn't feel that grogginess afterwards as you would feel with most fast food restaurants. Okay everyone knows that White Castle food is Crack! I am a fiend for a chicken sandwich slider meal (add pickles, hold the cheese) with onion rings and a chocolate shake. I happened upon this particular WC during an A' train drop off by my homie. Ribs was touching and I needed something to hold me down on my train ride to BK. I ordered my food to stay and I'm sooo glad I did. Everything was piping hot and fresh tasting, buns were extra soft and the sweet iced-tea makes that dollar crap at Mickey D's taste like pee pee. The staff here was so pleasant and well-mannered. The floors sparkled and the tables were so spotless that I didn't hesitate to pick up my onion ring that fell on it and still eat it. I complemented the young manager who told me that it was his first day on the job. I hope that he continues to manage his White Castle with the pride, dignity and efficiency that I saw on display today. Wish that I had gotten his name. Really nice guy. read more
