Pretty good food, not bad! Service was good as well Very happy they condensed their menu because it used to be overwhelming before lol. And my L.I.T was actually hitting

I've come to this diner a few times, and it's pretty solid. We came here for breakfast but their whole menu was pretty much available. Some people got buttermilk pancakes (the kids got ice cream on top), while others got a burger, the captain's feast, and I just got an omelette with their home fries. The omelette was ok, but I'm a big fan of their fries. The atmosphere was chill. I've seen the lines get long later in the day.

Again a big favorite in Brooklyn for being the diner with the awesome variety of cuisine entrees freshly baked cakes pies frozen margaritas appetizers the most extensive menu of house specials diverse cuisine Caribbean and Latin specialties. The ambience is very family friendly entertainment big screen televisions waitstaff that give service with a smile.

Great service with even greater food. Had a lovely time with my fam for breakfast. We were greeted upon arrival with smiles. Then seated. Scrolled the menu and they had so many options to choose from. Waitress was so kind and patient. She asked all the right questions and also gave all the right answers and information. The place was spacious and clean. I appreciate a nice establishment. Will be back and would love service from the same wait staff. Thanks

Let me say this first: the servers and customer service are the BEST. I honestly wish every place had service like this. They deserve raises -- you can tell they're genuinely happy to be at work, and that kind of positive energy makes a huge difference. The diner is clean, beautifully decorated, and even the bathroom is nice with great music playing in it. Now for the food experience... unfortunately, it wasn't great. I ordered the Latino Grill for Two and asked for no tomatoes because my sister is allergic. It still came with tomatoes. I requested my skirt steak medium rare, and it came well done. On top of that, the food and veggies were cold. We ate a little and took the rest home to warm up ourselves. The manager came over to ask how everything was, and I was honest about being unhappy with the food being wrong and cold. I suggested that if they're going to serve this dish, it needs to come out on a sizzling hot plate. He suggested putting a top on it, but that won't help -- a lid won't fix cold food. The flavor was good, but I don't recommend this dish unless it's served on a hot plate. It's a waste of money to order food in a restaurant only to have to take it home to heat it up. I go out to eat in the restaurant, not to warm up my food later. You received 3 stars for the customer service, wonderful servers and the clean environment.

This honestly has to be one of the most consistent spots around. I have literally been here over 100 times and I've never had a bad experience with the food or service! I love the fact that a lot of the staff are the same from when I first started going in 2011. That tells me that they likely take care of their people. The service is always friendly, quick, and efficient and the manager Frankie is such a sweetheart. They've def upgraded the decor in here with some nice graffiti style paintings, true to Brooklyn/NY. There is plenty of space and they even have outdoor for when it's nice out. If you've never been here you are missing out (especially on the Cajun crab legs!). If you HAVE been here then you know and will attest that nothing about their food is diner quality! It's wayyy above it! Also, the portion sizes and price point are great! You def will not leave hungry. This review covers my 4 visits in the last month. Drinks: my go to is always the frozen mango coconut margarita. It never disappoints. I've also had the sangrita, blue passion, and palmarita recently, they were good but the mango coconut marg still my fave. Prices average $16-18. Food: I've literally never had a bad dish here except for the jerk wings. The baked clams have to be the best in BK! They are to die for! Every. Single. Time! The Cajun crab legs are also amazing! You can get it as an app for $16 per cluster or they have it has meal and seafood boil options. The buffalo wings, Seafood scampi, seafood fra diavolo, chicharrones with rice and beans (daily special menu), spaghetti and meatballs (daily special menu), baby back ribs are all honorable mentions. I'm pretty sure the chef put his/her foot in those beans! Why did I order 2 extras!

A Brooklyn staple in the crest of ENY, they make you feel like family as soon as you step in the door. Hostess and servers are cheery, funny and incredibly sweet. There was a bit of a wait to order since I went with a big party and it was the holiday season. But it didn't even feel like an issue because I was having such a good time with my family. Y'all know how much I love my seafood AND they do claim to have the best crab legs in BK CAN CONFIRM! I also shared some of the seafood fettuccini with my mom and that too was really good! A beautiful medley of the sea, with scallops, clams, mussels, baby shrimp and crab legs. If you've never been here, rectify that soon!

The Carrot Cake Ruined It. I was this close to giving Lindenwood Diner a full five stars. Like hand hovering over the screen close. And then... the carrot cake happened. Let me start with the good because there is a LOT of good here. I went twice in the past two weeks because I try my best not to judge a place off one visit. Consistency matters. And baby, Lindenwood Diner is consistent. The Seafood Scampi is a must. Fresh clams, muscles, a good portion of crab with claws included. It's that girl period! The char grilled burgers awesome as well. Juicy, seasoned, cooked how you ask. The salad with the homemade French dressing is elite. I need that recipe. The coffee is endless, as diner coffee should be. The fried shrimp and the fish and grits were okay, not life changing but quality and solid. Everything is made to order and came out fresh. I also like that the menu is very diverse and inclusive. Customer service also deserves a shout. We had a small hiccup and the manager fixed it immediately. No attitude. No excuses. Just solutions. Love that. Now... the cake. I was literally walking out, minding my business, when I saw another patron eating the carrot cake. It looked GOOD good. So I doubled back like, let me grab a slice. Big mistake. The cake tasted like a boxed spice cake pretending to be carrot cake. The frosting did not taste like cream cheese frosting. And the shredded carrots on the outside felt like a costume, not an ingredient as the cake itself was plain. It was simply not the carrot cake I was hoping for and for 9 bux, I was a bit let down. If you have a sweet tooth, do yourself a favor and order the pineapple coconut cake or the strawberry cheesecake and leave the carrot cake exactly where it is. That said, parking is free, portions are big, service is great, and everything else absolutely hits. So yes, four stars. Because if that carrot cake had minded its business, this would have been a clean five.

As always service was great. They do a good job making you feel at home. Today I tried the ackee and salt fish. It was really really good. It came with yucca fries and garlic oil. I also had a side of salmon hash. That was also good.

You know as soon as you walk in and get a 'good morning!' It's just better here. The food is delicious. The service is professional. The servers act as if you are family. The place is beautiful. It's just BETTER here. I don't know how, or why. Just is.

Great place for the family to enjoy. The breakfast was wonderful. We were immediately seated, did not have to wait long for our food and beverage. The price was reasonable.

Lindenwood Diner & Restaurant don't ever disappoint. Delicious fresh food. Think of this diner as a international diner of food options and choices. Service is always excellent and right on point. Bartender makes delicious drinks. My piña colada was on the money honeyyyy. It's always clean. Booth seating, bar seating and seating outsdie The bread basket is good.

Reservation is highly recommended. After stalking their website a month out for a reservation for six, with no luck. I was able to email the restaurant and got a 4 pm reservation. Despite the steady crowd, the service was warm, efficient, and welcoming. As for the food, everything we ordered was excellent. The famous Honey Butter Pancakes absolutely deserve their reputation. It's light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. The Korean wings were crispy with just the right amount of heat and sweetness. The katsu chicken sandwich was crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and incredibly satisfying. Even the tuna melt, a diner classic, was perfectly toasted. Golden Diner proves that comfort food can still surprise you. Great service, an electric atmosphere, and a menu that honors diner traditions while adding its own unique personality. It's easy to understand why people are willing to wait for a table, and it's definitely a place we'll return to on our next visit to New York.

I was seated at the counter, and it was fun watching the cooks prepping dishes. The food here is rich and filling. I highly recommend sharing. *Honey Butter Pancake (with berry compote on the side): This is one of the most decadent sweet dishes I've had. The pancake was incredibly fluffy and moist, soaking up the syrup perfectly. The syrup had a rich honey butter flavor with a hint of saltiness (perfect for a pancake!). This is one of the few things I've eaten that definitely lived up to the hype. *Chinatown Egg & Cheese Sando (with sausage): A very solid breakfast sandwich. The highlight was the sesame scallion milk bun, which was nice and soft, with a subtle sweetness. The sandwich was very filling. Service was fine. The food took a little while to come out. The ambiance is a fun throwback to an old-school New York diner. It's a small space.

This spot has a handful of tables and while we were there, quite a few to-go orders were picked up as well. Though we were the only diners, so I assume it's more of a breakfast/brunch spot. The menu is rather expansive with options from breakfast to lunch and dinner. After studying the menu, we opted for the Veggie Burger and the Meatball Parm Po'Boy. Our food was ready in about 20 minutes, which seemed a little long as we were the only diners, but we were not in a rush so it was fine. As the restaurant was unassuming, I honestly had pretty low expectations, but we both really enjoyed our meals. It was definitely large portions and really flavorful. My fiance said the Meatball Parm Po'Boy was delicious and I appreciated that the veggie burger seemed to be made in house as it was falling apart (in a good way) and you could distinguish some of the veggies. I ended up only eating about half of my burger and took the rest for lunch the next day and it held up well.

The dining area certainly belies what happens in that kitchen behind the door. I'll be back to try some more simple, but excellent food.

And sadly, this is one. Sustainable packaging is great until it's not. Sub the scrambled eggs were melting into the box when they arrived. And had they arrived a moment later, they would have seeped through the box. Fine. I'll just get them out of the box, onto a real play. Ha. They must have been added to the box while they were fresh off a hot pan. A good amount was welded to the box. Annoying, but fine. And then the brew arrived without sugar or (paid for) oat milk. They hate me. It's ok, I'll just drink it black. And that's where 2 stars get knocked off. Worst tasting coffee ever. Cold brew is supposed to be smooth, with very little acid. This was extremely sour! As if it was made previously and had been sitting around for a couple of days. It took me a minute to realize how bad it was. And suffering as a result. Intense stomach pains and tummy issues. From coffee. Smh. I will probably eat there, in person. But I will never trust their cold brew again. Or delivery.

While they have all the traditional breakfast fare, I was so happy to see it also had a Caribbean twist to it. Lastly, we got a Caribbean omelet. My rice and pernil was solid. The rice could've used a tad bit more seasoning but when mixed with the side of beans and plantains plus a drizzle of hot sauce it was perfect. They had a variety of sauces--Tabasco (my fave), a Jamaican one that was super spicy, and a mild homemade one. The tres/quatro golpes was also a hearty choice with mangu (mashed plantain), sausage, fried cheese, and eggs. The pickled red onion balanced everything out. The fried cheese is similar to a halloumi but I think it's a bit more flavorful. All the flavors just melt together in your mouth perfectly. The French toast and omelet were good. I'd say the Caribbean items stole the show though. The place has a typical diner vibe and is on the small side. Food was served quickly and service was good. Discount if you pay in cash. Absolutely loved it here…read more I love coming here. I love their lattes, pierogies, omelettes, potato pancakes, kielbasa and everything else I've tried. Everything was so fresh. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come back.

Apparently there is more than one location in Manhattan. The inside reminded me of a classic diner. Comfy and with a pretty cool vibe. We all slid into a booth and looked over the seasonal offerings along with their standard menu. I was lured by the chicken Kyiv based on the picture of having two rolled up chicken cutlets stuffed with dill and other yumminess, but was a bit disappointment when it arrived with a single small cutlet on my plate with two heaping mounds of potatoes mash and broccoli. I instantly had regret when I should have gotten the borscht soup with pierogies, but wanted to try something I wouldn't usually. I should've stuck to what was safe. My work mom got the stuffed cabbage and that was a clear homerun- really loved the mushroom gravy that it came with. My other colleague got the potato pancake and wasn't too thrilled with it, while my boss got the two Swedish meatballs that he described to be Ikea worthy. Although this was my first time here, I can't say that anyone really loved the food nor would come out of their way to come back. I really was hoping this would have wow-ed me in some way, but I guess I'll stick to what's familiar.
