We stayed overnight in late March. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. The only strange thing which really amused me was breakfast which was handed to me at check in. It's Covid time so I understand that things are not normal. For the price, the cleanliness etc, and the proximity to the south entrance to Yosemite this place is a steal. I would stay here again.

For the price of $50 per night, this lodge is hard to beat in the Yosemite area, especially around Fish Camp. It's very affordable, and your room will have a shower and heater too! :) Just keep in mind that it's very basic, a microwave, fridge, heater, small tv, and restroom. They even offer continental breakfast in the morning (which we didn't get to try), so it's very economical and cheap. If you're looking for just a place to stay and get some sleep, without breaking your bank, then give this place a shot. It's pretty decent and only 2 miles away from the south entrance of Yosemite National Park!

Clean rooms, and resonable prices. We were blessed with neighbors who were quiet and went to sleep early.

Our host and server for the night was polite. The portion on the mains is just right. We ordered blackened chicken tacos and miso and mushroom risotto. Both 5/5. The house salsa has a nice kick to it. We ordered noodles with cheese from kids menu. That was all gobbled up by our hungry toddler. It came with sides of steamed veggies. I enjoyed the only soup ( they have it for $11) it was fresh and steaming hot. Perfect for chilly evening. definitely worth trying. They have lot of options for all. Both indoor and outdoor seating seemed good option. But for summer early dinner outdoor is nice. They have a huge round firepit and it was nice to dine around it. Definitely will be on our list for the next visit.

Sadly we came in between the lunch and dinner shift so despite and empty restaurant they wouldn't serve us in the nicer room. Our server was very kind! Ordered a kids burger, a kids pizza, the lettuce wraps, Caesar salad and BLT. Kids pizza came out wrong. Lettuce wraps were chunky pieces of chicken instead of the ground Asian version we imagined. Sauce was not good, no mint despite what the menu described. Sent back. The BLT was awful. On very dry over toasted ciabatta bread with avocado that went bad (my son looooves BLTs and avocado and truly this was not a good version). Caesar salad was great but very small portions for $17!!! Loved the homemade dressing however the Parmesan chip was stale and soft instead of crispy. The kids burger my daughter ordered was edible, but again, absolutely not worth the price. Veggies served with it were very sad.

One of my favorite chocolate lattes ever came from here…read more It had a light mouthfeel and wasn't too sweet, a well-balanced latte that was neither bitter nor too sweet. Super aromatic and tasted even better since you can see them pulling the espresso shot. My friend's lavender latte was delicious. First floral note giving away to an excellent latte. They know their stuff here. We loved the staff here. Very friendly and helpful, I loved complimenting the baristas on their craft and passing along the cheerfulness from the cashier who was very welcoming. They were very methodical and consistent with each drink, it seems. The shop was cute, with ample parking. The patio was busy-ish with people flocking in and out to pick up their orders once their name was called. I liked the combination of rustic and modern decorations, making for AN EXCELLENT stop before heading in or out of Yosemite. This coffee is worth going out of the way for since you will be leaving very happy after pleasant interactions and a deliiiiiicious coffee. 10/10!

Unfortunately, the quality was far below expectations. The coffee had a noticeably salty, unpleasant taste, and the matcha was extremely bitter with no trace of vanilla at all. We order this same drink regularly at other cafés, so we know what it should taste like--this was not it at all. It was also far too strong for a child, despite specifically asking for it to be kid-friendly. When I politely brought this up, I was surprised by how it was handled. I simply asked to add a little vanilla for it to taste better. Instead of offering to remake the drink or find a solution, I was told I would need to purchase a new one. I rarely ever ask for drinks to be redone, but this one was genuinely undrinkable. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the staff. The response felt dismissive and unprofessional, particularly from an employee named DJ. The interaction left us feeling unwelcome and unheard. Overall, poor quality drinks and disappointing customer service. We won't be returning.

First impression, way better than I expected. The interior is from the 50's. Some beautiful stained glass, wood, and a view of the surrounding forest. That comfy yellow-toned lighting, and some decent playlist faintly In the background. It's nice and warm too. But not like too warm. STAFF: Lindsay and Miley were wonderful. Smiles, very friendly, so attentive to all of the visitors. Nice, calm yet energetic. Good teamwork. 11/10 here. FOOD: Lindsay mentioned the Pasta Primavera first when I asked her what she liked here. That is what I got, added chicken. I'm a sucker for a little edible flower garnish, so that was a cool touch. And it was a very good dish, I've eaten almost all of it as I am writing this. FINAL THOUGHTS: Miley brought me my very own bottle of water, which I appreciated. It sort of catered to my lingering. Slowly finishing my food. Reading and soaking in the sunset blue pouring into the seats near the window. I'd come back :)

We had a pretty large party and with a small menu we almost covered it all. The best things on the menu were the empanadas even though they didn't make sense on paper and the rest was disappointing. Being as how we were the table sending things back I will have to say the service was 5 plus stars. You never know how anyone is going to take you being as how they have their own personal relationship with the food (and kinda have to like it since it's their job) so we were nice, paid for what they felt like they needed to charge us for and left. Upside? The facility is a nice piece of history up here. Had the food matched that it would've been a 5 start experience all the way around. Nice little river running thru the property and over the top maintained. We didn't see the insides of the rooms but if it matched the dining area this place was pretty phenomenal. Back one more time on the food, none of the fish dishes were worth it. Tiny sliver portions and super fishy tasting for it to be a busy Saturday. If you like fish and fishy flavor it's for you, but if you're a non fish tasting person who likes fish (I know my target fish audience gets that) skip it. It wasn't good. We also skipped dessert so can't comment on that. The other parts of the meal were just not that good. Also had a tequila cocktail I'm not sure why I ordered a second one of that kept me up from whatever the juice was they used in it. Wish I could remember which but at least it was strong enough for me to brave the second.
