Good spot for a quick bite and hanging out with some friends. Arrived mid afternoon, 2pm on a Saturday, and it was not busy at all. We ordered a few tacos, queso, and churros. I had the steak taco which had a generous portion of protein and fixins. The queso was delicious too. And you can't go wrong with churros, especially if you have a sweet tooth as mean as mine! Plenty of parking here and the inside is very colorful and brightly decorated. It's counter order service and definitely a good option for fast casual. @azfitfoodfun

Good place to eat some tacos. They have a good combination of flavors and proteins. Service continues to be efficient.

Whew this place is a hit! I'm always kinda weary of taco spots because you truly just don't know how it's gonna turn out but this place did not disappoint. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and explained to me the tacos are listed in order of popularity which was extremely helpful in my decision making. I got the number one choice of steak and cheese and then the Bangkok shrimp one. Both were fabulous! After finishing my meal my sweet tooth attacked so I got an order of the churros with their homemade caramel sauce. Another winner! Place was clean and food came out fresh and hot.

A great place to get "REAL" tacos. We went on a Friday afternoon around 2:30. You order at the counter seat yourself and they bring your tacos to you. It's a cool place with open seating, interesting decor, and a lot to look at. There were three of us and all of our tacos were absolutely delicious as well as the queso we ordered.

In the mood to try something with a twist? Try White Duck taco shop! I really would like to say 3.5 stars ! This isn't a traditional taco shop- the menu has many fusion & flavorful options such as Thai peanut chicken tacos, Bangkok shrimp & ceviche shrimp. My personal favorite IS the ceviche shrimp taco! I also enjoyed the fish taco! It can be hit or miss- so find what you like. I wasn't crazy about the steak taco- but that's me! There are also alcohol options- liquor and beers! The ambience is open and clean, leave the trash on the table and they clean up after you! Outdoor seating as well! You order at a register and they will bring it to you! Check it out! (Gotta strong arm that front door though) lol

This review is overdue. I tried this location for lunch via Uber Eats on Monday, 03-13-23. I ordered the Bangkok shrimp taco, Korean beef bulgogi taco, chips & queso, a kid cheese quesadilla, and a Mexican chocolate pot de creme. All of my Uber Eats orders are for both lunch & dinner as I'm usually using a voucher. I had plenty of food. The food was hot upon arrival. I enjoyed all the different flavors. Looking forward to trying other things on the menu. Hopefully, the closing is just temporary.

White Duck Taco Shop... what is there to say... first, its not your typical taco shop thats for sure. Lamb Gyro taco with lettuce, cucumber, pico, feta and tzatziki? Say what??? General Tso Chicken taco with broccoli slaw, green onion, fried wontons and tahini? I'm sorry... WHAT??? I can go on and on bc the menu is full of incredibly "different" tacos that are seriously unconventional and some may even say offensive to what a "taco" should be. The thing is.. that's why I love them! I love the idea of pushing the boundary of what a taco is and I love the idea of taco fusion concepts! Korean Beef Bulgogi taco with avocado puree and kimchi? SIGN ME UP FOR THREE PLZ! If you're a taco purist and can't imagine anything other than corn tortillas, delicious meats, and some cilantro, onion, and maybe a radish... then maybe this wont be the place for you. If you're open to exploring how fun the world of tacos can be I'd say sit down and buckle up bc White Duck Taco Shop is quite possibly the most inventive taco spot I've ever had the pleasure to experience and I'm glad they're pushing the limit of what a "taco" is.

This was my husband and I's first time back since they reopened in May! We were greeted so kindly and had all of our menu questions answered! I have an anaphylactic dairy allergy and I was reassured with them going through the ingredients with me! The atmosphere is very vibrant! The food was out of this world I had a general tso's chicken, Bangkok shrimp and Crispy Pork belly taco! We can't wait to come back!! The food has so much flavor and feels healthy even if it's not!

Update, They are back!!! We went back today after they re-opened this week. Food is still good with fresh and flavorful options, and naturally, the chips and queso are still a must!

Crispy Pork Belly , looks better than taste

For NC, I guess ok.. The Pork Belly lacked any degree of bold flavor punch, could have been way more tender. Peanut Chicken Taco, way to dry. Needed heat. can see me coming back to try other flavors, not anytime soon.

Tacos here are bomb! This was our first time here, we will definitely be back. We were impressed by how the meats were cooked and combined with the toppings to make the most unique flavors. Here's my opinion of what we ordered: 1 - Steak & cheese - the best one, flavor, filling, toppings, so good! 2 - Bangkok Shrimp - unique flavor, loved it! 3 - Crispy Pork Belly - I don't like pork but devoured this, really good! 4 - Fish Taco - a classic, sauce was so good! 5 - Chicken BLT - I could've done without this one. It was a breaded chicken tender covered in bacon basically, opt for something more unique. Queso and salsa were just ok. I'd skip, save room for more tacos!

I was excited to try this spot since my brother loves the Greenville location. He recommended the general tso and Bangkok shrimp as well as the house margarita and the chocolate pot de creme so I got all of the above. The general Tsos chicken was a little tough, but flavorful and the shrimp had a kick to it, but was really good. The margarita was exactly what I wanted. The chocolate pot de creme. I am normally a chocolate purist, but the flavor combination of the Graham cracker crunch and the cinnamon whip and the chocolate was chefs kiss. The decor inside in minimal, but the walls are painted and I also noted the funny employees hand washing sign in the bathroom.

Having visited the original White Duck Taco Shop in Asheville my wife and I fell in love with the place. We were over the moon when this location opened just minutes away. An eclectic decorated shop with fun designs painted on the walls with fun colors and chalkboard menu boards hanging behind the register. When walking it I feel it boost the mood automatically. Placing orders is quick and painless however, deciding which tacos to get can take some time. Whatever the mood the tacos will not disappoint. I recommend getting two or three different tacos even though the mix of flavors might not seem to compliment each other. I always get the pork belly taco to start and am constantly trying the others with every visit. The tacos stay pretty consistent but there are changes with different offerings from time to time. We are also a fan of the chips and salsa trio. The food comes out pretty fast so you won't have much time to eat the chips before getting your meal. Tacos go great with beer and luckily White Duck has a decent selection. There are about four, maybe five, beers on tap and a couple of seltzer's and other drinks to choose from. They also serve margarita's and a few other mixed drinks too. Service is nice but it's kind of set up where there isn't much the staff would need to do for you. Drinks are available to refill on your own, there's a condiment station and a place to place empty trays.

So, we ordered one of each (easily split btw 3-4 ppl) and LOVED it!! My fav taco is the street corn taco with shrimp . Delicious sweet and savory. Our service was great the first night, but the second night it was a miss. They eventually advised us that they were in training at the moment. So, that's understandable and answered our questions and concerns. Overall, as long as they keep it very clean and food tastey, we will be back to this restaurant regularly.

Apart from that she was friendly and helpful. We ordered the shrimp fajita and bc my daughter loves shrimp I asked if was spicy and even the queso they only have the one w jalapenos which I love but my daughter couldn't enjoy as much bc it became too Spicy for her. The horchata was too sweet - according to my 7 year old who loves sweets, I also tried and compared to our local taco place it was very sweet, she didn't event drink it and ordered water. I had the skinny margaritas which also not my favorite the alcohol portion was on point very nice and you could taste it which I appreciate it since I was cold outside, but the flavor was missing. Overall the food is good the prices and service are all very good. Ambience is traditional Mexican skeletons decor like dis de los muertos everyday. If you haven't been here it's worth the trip to try Mexican style and imaginative American menu.

I also got the elote loco. I really wanted a traditional elote but the lady said elote loco and I replied yes, and so that's how that went. Not even 10 min later my food was out. They give complimentary chips & salsa. The elote loco was ok. Not usually something I would order but wasn't bad. I ate it all. Worth ordering twice if you're a fan of the red stuff. My burrito was a decent size. Short and fat. Rolled terribly. All of the guac and little bit of sour cream was on one side of the burrio and the other end had the chicken and rice. There was a thin amount of beans. The chicken was hella dry. Like it has been cooked a day before and reheated in a microwave. The flavor was lacking. The chips and salsa. The chips were warmed, but the salsa was giving crushed tomatoes with garlic. It was more of a tomato than a salsa. Personally, I wouldn't come back but they do have other dishes and so maybe I just ordered something that isn't one of their bests. My total was around $26. A bit steep for such mid food.
