I had no issues with getting hot water for a shower - it was just as fast as taking a shower at home! The outdoor heated pool and hot tub on the third floor were so relaxing, especially at night where we could see the stars (granted, there's a lot of light pollution from being in the city). The breeze that cut across was really nice. We spent a lot of time out here and there was only one other person we ran across. Visited about a month ago when the system was running into issues. They recommended we try reloading credits into the card to see if it worked, which we did: $110. It didn't work. We came back today (1 month later) to see if the system loaded our card and it never did, but our payment was posted. Looks like the day we originally visited (10/18), the system recorded NO transactions from 12PM-3PM. We provided proof of payment via credit card transaction, but due to them not being able to "verify the transaction" on their end (because their own system was down???) they could not credit our card/account. The GM was absolutely useless and noncooperative even with physical evidence of our payment. He literally told us he has the authority to credit our account, but was choosing not to. Wasted 30 min of our time with no rectification under the guise of "finding proof of transaction" with a system that malfunctioned and couldn't work bc IT team was not even working (on a Saturday). The desk chairs are cracked, there is absolutely no outlets for charging your devices and the large outdated drapes have a sheet of dust at the top of box to the ceiling. This hotel is very convenient in the area, but the hotel price gauges when there are events and aren't accommodating guests with basic housekeeping and linens. I'm pretty sure it is owned and managed by a family and some of the younger employees are very friendly, but it is a business where customers pay for amenities that aren't being provided!
