30/60 birthday party with White Felt
    Lynn P.

We had a birthday celebration for about 125 people and White Felt came out and entertained us all night. The tables were full. I heard lots of laugh and excitement throughout the evening. William Keller was great getting us set up and answered all my questions. I did not get the name of the young lady who set everything up but she was great. All of the dealers were fun and made the evening perfect. Thank you for the great memories.

    Thanks for everything

That said, football history is football history, and this tour was outstanding from beginning to end. Walking through Tom Landry's legacy, seeing the Super Bowl trophies, championship banners, locker rooms, cheerleaders' facilities, newspaper front pages, and even the behind-the-scenes service areas gave me a whole new appreciation for everything that goes into operating one of the world's premier sports venues. One thing that really caught my attention was learning how AT&T Stadium transforms for major events. With FIFA World Cup matches coming in 2026, seeing the preparations and hearing how the stadium adapts for international soccer was fascinating. The College Football Hall of Fame exhibit was another unexpected highlight. Reading the stories behind legendary teams and players reminded me that football is just as much about preparation and character as it is talent. One personal highlight was seeing Roy Williams honored in the Cowboys locker room. Like many Oklahomans, I remember his famous "Superman" play at OU against Texas. I also had the pleasure of meeting Roy during my years with Orion Security Solutions, where he's part of the management team. He was generous enough to give every employee a copy of his autobiography, and he left a lasting impression as a humble, first-class person. Seeing him recognized as an NFL All-Pro was a special moment. The tour guides were knowledgeable, answered every question, and shared stories that brought the stadium to life. Even though I'll always be a proud member of Bills Mafia, I left with a tremendous amount of respect for the history, innovation, and professionalism behind the Dallas Cowboys organization. Whether you're a Cowboys fan, a football fan in general, or simply appreciate incredible architecture and engineering, this tour is absolutely worth your time.

There has been a huge change in housekeeping and it is no longer the better cleaner hotel stay. They have hidden "Underground" parking fees when actually, it's just parking behind the building on a hill. There is constant overflowing trash in the bins at the front entrance, constant problems getting towels/wash cloths and the headboards are filthy. The desk chairs are cracked, there is absolutely no outlets for charging your devices and the large outdated drapes have a sheet of dust at the top of box to the ceiling. This hotel is very convenient in the area, but the hotel price gauges when there are events and aren't accommodating guests with basic housekeeping and linens. I'm pretty sure it is owned and managed by a family and some of the younger employees are very friendly, but it is a business where customers pay for amenities that aren't being provided!

The rooms were western themed, with cowboy centric art pieces, which I thought was a nice touch. The rooms also had nice amenities (mini fridge, water, coffee, etc.) which is always great. I only deducted a star because the bathroom sink had a bit of an unpleasant odor at times and the mirror was a little rusty in areas. On another note, the hotel also has restaurants onsite which is a bonus. Also just to note, the staff were very professional, but also polite which I really appreciated as these days you don't get that everywhere.

The hotel itself is beautiful and has that big, upscale Texas hotel feel. The lobby is impressive, and the bar setup is especially nice, a great spot to grab a drink and hang out in the evening. It feels lively, but never overwhelming. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Service was solid throughout the stay, not over the top, but consistently friendly and helpful. Only reason for four stars is the sheer size of the place. Be ready to walk, because getting from the parking garage to the lobby, and then from the lobby to the rooms, can feel like a bit of a trek, especially with luggage after a long game day. Overall, a very nice stay, and I would definitely come back, just mentally preparing for the steps next time.

That being said, my expectations were a bit hit and miss here. But mostly a fantastic experience. I love that it's exquisitely beautiful and very clean. I love that staff is formally dressed to impress! Collared shirts and all, it allows the guest experience to feel better. The cream of the crop though is the trumpet guy. He was everywhere and making people feel really special, by playing and getting the crowd to sing, he's really magnificent. A stand out to all other tracks, as nobody has what he does! The aircon is fabulous, so you can feel comfortable the entire day! The food service stations were helpful and nice all great! Each employee has a specific job , so nobody will help you if it's outside their job we discovered, as in helping find seats, getting programs, where's the ice cream, where do we enter for premium parking? All questions we had a tough go of. I wish there were umbrellas out front for shade, I wish more tables and chairs ground level inside, I wish there was a pony station to pet the ponies? But no. Another surprising thing I saw was a pony rider, while waiting on the track, smoking a cigarette! One cinder flick in the air onto a horse or person is not safe at all. Am really shocked this is allowed. Totally loved the "car wash" to the side for the horses who just finished, what a treat to see and treat for the horses, people say they love it. Could be good for marketing! Speaking of which, in my week there, most locals where I went, grocery restaurants gas stations didn't know that track existed! It's a marketing thing but maybe big Texas track doesn't need the money, not sure. Houston has the very best marketing team. Perhaps get some pointers! Now, this is by far another best, the track announcer! He's really the best, he talks loud enough and slow and has the most kind and caring voice of all. Most track announcers act like they've had ten gallons of coffee, not this guy, he's like everyone's loving grandpa! He keeps everyone up to the minute, and we just happed to be there with the inclement weather closure and the race collision and he was cool as a cucumber! Another one of a kind. And then lastly, security. Top notch, they make sure you are accounted for with proper ID and all, it likely any horses here will be tampered with or stolen, fat chance! And the outriders, again top notch safety, they secured the loose horses that fell super quick, they are constantly on the lookout for safety, getting ponies in line organized for each race, for a guest it looks so well organized! Sorry such a long read, but loved it here and wanted to share and hope this helps others who wish to spend the day or more here, it's so so fun! A MUST DO WHILE IN DALLAS!
