This place is very dangerous for my wallet! I recently became obsessed with crane games, and this location has so many cute plushies and anime figures for their machine! I've been here twice, and both times I think the machines are more rigged compared to the Grapevine location. Typically, you win something after 6-8 tries, but here, I spent over $50 (400 credits) and did not win anything. The crane "shakes" as it picks up the plushie, or they intentionally make it hard for the ping pong balls to fall in the right spot. The service is also terrible. It takes FOREVER to find a worker if you do win. I walked around the entire place twice and still managed to NOT find anyone. I really hope that they'll improve because I like their prizes more compared to the Grapevine location.

Big prizes from the prize area that I claim with tickets

I came into town with friends and went to this specific Round 1 for the crane machines. Their prizes are much better at this location than Grapevine. The employees are very helpful and show me how to win certain prizes or reset the prizes for me when needed. My favorite game to play here is Angry Birds slot machine since it's easy to win tickets from there. The prices of the machines are decently priced. I came out winning so many plushies between my friends and I. I will say some crane machines are hard and definitely required watching how to win before trying. The plushies are so soft and cute, it was very hard to stop playing. I recommend coming here on a date or with friends to show off your skills!

Fixing to win yet another game console from Round 1 . #15 and counting

Meet the new Round 1 of Arlington ! The place was renovated . The place looks great ! You get more bang for your buck at this Round 1 in Arlington than the one in Grapevine . You get more plays per swipe here than the one in Grapevine . I did the math . Customer service got better . With the new environment expect even better service from the staff . If you want to know what fabulous looks like ... ask for Gabby . When she got there , the culture got better . She was the first to start giving me fabulous customer service at Round 1 . It costs nothing to be nice and i really appreciate her . Always helpful . She became an example for the other and they followed suit . I will keep coming back . I like to play Red Zone Rush .

Ask the Community - Round1 Bowling & Arcade - Arlington

How much is it to play pool?

Hi Karina! Pricing varies depending on the day you visit, so you can check out our website for all the activity pricing at Arlington. https://www.round1usa.com/location/arlington-parks/

Do you have to be 18 to play pool here?

Hi Ky! As long as you have a state issued ID that you can present at the Guest Counter, there's no age limit to renting our billiards tables.

    Do they have table tennis?

Yes they do! It's in the billiards area and I believe you'll need to rent the paddles/ball.

They also have the most claw machines I have ever seen within the DFW area, ranging from UFO to Giant Claw to regular claw.

It's not too far from the convention center area with all of the sports arenas and has a private parking lot. Entry was very reasonable - I think around $10 if I remember correctly. It's a small museum and staff were super friendly when I arrived. Even by myself, it was a fun way to kill some time. I learned more about bowling than I ever thought I would know. I also tried my hand at mini bowling - there are two lanes in the museum you can play for free. And I got a strike on my 3rd try - go me. As a not avid bowler, I'm sure I didn't get a much from the museum as someone totally into the sport. But it was till fun and interesting. There is even a whole area just for kids to learn bowling information. I appreciated an entire wall dedicated to women in the sport. You exit through the gift shop and I found bowling shoe high heels but kept my self control and didn't buy them.

When I visited, I was the only person in the museum (around 1PM on a Friday in late June). I worked in a bowling alley for eight years and bowled for over 30 years so this was a very nice experience for me. You are able to search bowlers who threw a sanctioned 300 game (including myself) which was a fun trip down memory lane (no pun intended). You can easily spend 60-90 minutes here. You don't have to be a bowler to appreciate the experience. I'm glad I was able to visit.

Previously they had some sort of unlimited pass for a certain amount of time in a day, that included attractions. That no longer exists. We decided to just load a card with funds, which previously you could use points for attractions. They didn't explain at the front counter they don't warn folks points no longer work for attractions, so we had to find out at the bumper cars that we have to go back up front and buy attraction credits at just shy of $8 a pop. During our visit on a Sunday, we ended up not seeing a single person doing bumper cars, rock wall, or lazer tag which normally being used regularly on a weekend day. Plus, the number of people on a weekend reminded us of the number that would be there on an early afternoon on a weekday. Covid killed off the buffet, the recent buy out killed off their decent all in pass for x amount for x amount of time. Now are running things a bit more like their competitors Alley Cats & Main Event. Yet there really hasn't been anything updated or improved upon in the 3 or 4 months that they have become Gametime. The cost is about the same as Main Event which is a better maintained place. While they have the indoor rock wall and bumper cars Alley cats has mini-golf and other outdoor rides. I don't expect Gametime to survive without bringing back the thing that brought people to Itz, even if there is some sort of price increase or slight change in set up. Like one unlimited pass for games and an upgrade for attractions... or vice versa. Cause there are to many just unlimited game play places in the area.
