My parents are buried here but I went a different path with my brother and just ordered urns and a grave marker from Lakewood. When an urn came in with the wrong symbol they made it right. They are also timely in answering questions. On Memorial weekend you can even buy flowers when you drive in and they have ground urns available for use. My only complaint is how they numbered the cemetery. Have a cemetery map handy as the section numbers do not go in order. You will need it if you make a wrong turn.

After the pronouncing of her death I had to call the funeral home to pick her up. I was told they were busy, and they came in a timely manner. Even it's a loved one, a dead body in the bedroom is damned creepy. We were able to make arrangements the next day. I like how during the visitation they're so available and on top of things. Turns out we shared the day with a much younger man who was very popular and had almost 200 guests. We were in the smaller room across the way, yet as people came in they were drawn to our side to sign in. This basically led to me directing traffic, rather than visiting with our guests. So right away the director moved our sign in to inside our room, problem solved. They are very good at helping you keep costs down. At stressful times like this you want friendly, co-operative people at your service.

Was a comfortable venue... like most funeral homes...dated 80s vibe... but still comfortable and welcoming. I appreciated that there were different places to sit throughout... so everyone doesn't have to sit together; different rooms and seats along both sides of the halls. The memorial room(?) was comfortable, well lit and had plenty of seating; 12 pews on each side of the aisle. I didn't think to picture the pews as they did have interesting and comfortable padding. The room also had good acoustics, as a fellow played a drum. The sitting room(?) across the hall was comfortable and even had a tv that a slide show was streaming on. Parking was easy, not plentiful, about a dozen spots but there is street parking on Minnehaha and other surrounding streets.My only complaint, the one star deduction.... despite being a large human the bathroom stalls were so small. If you don't need to use the ladies room everything else is wonderful. Thank you for providing a comfortable environment for us to say goodbye to our friend.

They charged a fair price of $995 including the crematory fee and everything. No extra credit card fees (or charging us $175 for the plain black plastic container the crematorium provides for free). And they actually answered their phone and talked us through the process. They were so helpful and respectful from beginning to end, and they even helped us file the burial assistance request with the county. Plus, we got to pick up the personal effects ahead of time, and our experience being there the day of the cremation was everything we could have hoped for. Highly recommend.

This is actually a review for the Apple Valley location. My Mother died on the 17th of last month. It has left me alone on this Earth. No Family or Friends is to speak of... Just a stack of bills. I have contacted them on three occasions asking for a death certificate so that I may settle my Mother's debts. I sent three more attempts today (LESS CORDIALLY) TELLING THEM IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that I need to have the death certificates in hand in order to get the processes started. No reply as of yet. This seems like a shitty service whether you're lying in or paying for a coffin.

The multiple spelling mistakes, other typos, and omissions in his obituaries, his visitation program, and even his death certificate were unprofessional and unacceptable. Even after we pointed out errors, similar and/or the same errors persisted throughout. And the passive aggressive, condescending way in which they treated my sister-in-law, the grieving widow of my brother, in response to these issues was abhorrent. I wouldn't recommend their services for the death of a house fly, let alone a human being.
