The breakfast was worth the wait; we had Cinnamon Swirl French Toast and a lovely fruit medley. My bacon was burnt to a crisp, though. The wait staff was friendly. This restaurant is within feet of Fort William Henry.

I'm going to give this breakfast spot a solid 4.4 stars: Food excellent, View - best ever seating; Value - VERY GOOD; Service - Mediocre! I'd go here even if I was staying somewhere else. Service: - I signed in with a hostess and she said 10 minutes - 20 minutes later she told me "Bob" was next - Another 10 minutes she comes out and asks for another couple... really? I interjected and said hey what about Bob? and she checks her list oh yes you are next.. Wow just wow! Then she moved as slow as molasses. She poured our coffee and got my wife some tea but forgot her milk and then gives here just a few drops.. PS. there was lots of tables available so i'm not sure what the backup was - The waitress comes and she was good (not great). I asked for water 2x but never received it. My wife did ask for mimosas and the manager did bring those out very promptly. Ok now the good: - Dining room is absolutely GORGEOUS.. beautiful fall arrangements - Views you can't beat this in this location... - We were seated right by the window with a STUNNING VIEW of Lake George - Food was awesome with lots of flavor - I had the Omlette with veggies and the potatoes they served were excellent - Coffee was EXCELLENT, mimosas were so good that my wife ordered a second -

Located in the Fort William Henry Hotel, only serving breakfast. This restaurant offers beautiful views of Lake George and surrounding mountains. I ordered the build your own omelette which came with toast and 'Adirondack' home fries-which were amazing! My companion ordered short stack, and they were typical pancakes. Would I return? Yes, only if staying in hotel though.

    Great views.

You're paying for the views and beautiful area here, not the actual food. We ate here two days. It's pricey, $8-$10 for breakfast food, $3 for mediocre coffee (the coffee in the machine in the hotel lobby is better and it's free) First day, boyfriend and I had the lumberjack platter, 2 pancakes, eggs, home fries, bacon sausage and toast. I didn't even eat my bacon because it was burnt and tasted like it had been sitting around. The eggs were ok. They looked like they had been sitting on a plate for a few minutes so they weren't the freshest. The pancakes were beautiful but sorely disappointing. They tasted like they were missing something. Like they were flavorless and tasted like baking soda. No sustenance. The homefries were good but so greasy. The next day, I had the western omelet. Unremarkable. I've had better ones in most places. We had $5 vouchers from our hotel and the meals still ending up costing us. If you're looking for a pretty view with ok food, come here. Otherwise I recommend Cafe Verro down the street. Way more affordable and tastier.

3 egg white veggie and Swiss "build your own" omelet w fruit instead of home fries. Yum yum.

Perfectly classic diner style breakfast restaurant and bar with formal dining room as well, set in a deco era grand hotel with amazing views of Lake George. Luxurious breakfast at a very accessible price point. I had a three egg white omelet. Delicious. Apparently Fort William Henry hotel is planning to add a three season porch around the super gorgeous dining room. Highly recommend the hotel and the White Lion restaurant whether you are staying at hotel or not. Shout out, too, to a very pleasant server, Tisha, and chef who insisted on omelet perfection.

Food was great. Place was great, view great. They were allowing a small portion of people in due to covid. Our waiter was not so great. Brought our food with no utensils, and when we asked he said they "ran out of them" so we were given plastic utensils... made no sense since a couple that arrived after us got regular utensils lol. Also, the minute the waiter brought our food he brought our check. Which that was new.. I observed that 2 other tables received their checks at the end (like normal). Will definitely be coming back, but hope not to get the same waiter.

What happened? This place is obviously a hit and miss. I came back to this restaurant for breakfast based on my experience in 2010. It didn't even come close to meeting my expectations this time around. I was wrong about the view. Depending on what side you sit on will give you the more clear view of the lake. However, the food this time was in reverse. Before I said the food was good and the pastries were bad. This time around the pastries were at the top of the list. The scrambled eggs I loved so much two years ago were cold and bland. As was everything else. I won't be coming back here again. The service was okay with making sure you had enough coffee and other beverages, but the food quality was just not there. The breakfast we had the following morning at Cafe Vero was not only cheaper, but much better. White Lion charged us $25 for a breakfast for two during Americade weekend.

So glad we checked Yelp before breakfast. We found White Lion. Great view, food and service. Started the meal with Mimosas, coffees and waters. My wife had Western Omelette loaded with bacon, ham, peppers, onions and covered with Cheddar. I had pancakes cakes and hash. The rest of our group had a hash casserole and cinnamon swirl French Toast and eggs. We were 4/4. If I had one comment for staff-slow down. They all seemed frantic. Too early in the season to be frantic. Probably will be back tomorrow.

Breakfast sandwich with potatoes and cinnamon french toast. Well made and yummy.

This place exceeded my expectations for a hotel breakfast spot. We beat the breakfast rush by arriving by 930 and we were able to enjoy a seat by the window with a lake view. From there we could watch the early morning parasailers. The menu was limited but our server was good and food arrived pretty fast. I was surprised by the taste and presentation of our food. I had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with breakfast potatoes which were yummy and my boyfriend had the French toast. It was unfortunate that they only accepted half of our breakfast vouchers...but overall it was good. Recommend if you're staying at the hotel.

Short stack chocolate chip pancakes and a side of home fries.

No other meat than porks and corn beef hash which does not fit in my diet. But the pancakes, eggs and hash browns were good!

Amazing pancakes! Lovely fairly quiet place to eat during the summer. There is a wait (of course) but the wait is so worth it!

We were pleasantly surprised with both the high food quality and friendly, efficient service. Seated outside at a comfortable table we shared an excellent crab cake with our cocktails. The 'Lake George Punch', was very nice. Our server, Jack, was on his game & could give lessons on on unobtrusive high quality table service with a smile and some pleasant conversation. The pulled chicken tacos and crab stuffed haddock were both excellent! Flavor, texture, doneness all top notch. We were caught up in the details of sauces, rice, and wonderful harcort verts (can't just call them a side of green beans). Unexpected in a hotel restaurant in a touristy area. All in all, with the July evening breeze blowing off the lake, a slice of lake view, and the bustling fellow visitors putting on a show just for us.... It was a very nice experience.
