An unassuming delicatessen with a few indoor tables and several outdoor tables with umbrellas. The service is friendly and accommodating. I ask for very hot Chai Tea, and that is exactly what I got, with a smile. The location of the eatery was set back from the main street of town closer to Sagamore road.

After labor day this was the only place serving breakfast food and coffee! It was perfect. The home made biscuit breakfast sandwich and latte were excellent. The service was friendly, easy and quick! We sat outside and enjoyed the fabulous warm fall weather and enjoyed our food!!

    Me enjoying da coffee

All their pancakes are amazing, even though with my sodium issue I only get a taste of my husband's. My ole favorites were Pumpkin and their classic Sugar & Spice with the perfect amount of sweetness and spice mix. I wish they would serve saltless grits! That would make this girl happy! I only eat a couple of the potatoes, they are very tasty however salt is used or the rest of you wouldn't be eating them....am I right! Of course, my eggs were cooked perfectly! I keep forgetting you have ice cream! They also have many local theme items for sale and don't forget to not head home with Vermont's local Maple Syrup! If you came in March you will get to see the sap being processed into syrup!

We finally decided to try out S&S and I found it good, but not worth the 5 stars everyone gives it pancakes = well cooked, round, pretty standard. don't get 4 pancakes unless you want be in a pancake induced coma. also, they put a literal small ice cream scoop size of butter on the pancakes. Only IHOP does that and it's way too much butter. If you are eating all of that butter, you might need an extra dose of lipitor. Toast = kind of boring S&S pancakes = kind of tasted like pancakes with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Home fries = those were good I was there with two 16-year olds who both thought the food was "mid". I did see a small girl sitting with plate in front of her that had a waffle with ice cream and whipped cream piled so high, that it was almost as tall as her. Her eyes were huge and she was trying to figure out where to start. That waffle looked pretty good and as I passed the table, her dad was leaning in to "help out and keep the plate clean". They sell a lot of baseball hats and t-shirts.

I have visited this cafe over the last few months and have loved trying their new items they always seem to have. My boyfriend regularly enjoys the breakfast burrito and we have a pastry and apple butter to try soon as well! We always felt welcome there, as it is great place to sit and relax. I also love that they host weekly events, the owners seem very involved in the quality of what they sell and the environment they do it in.. Ps: I also just tried the asparagus soup and nettle crisps, and I will be thinking about how good it was later... wish I got a bigger bowl! Thanks Jason and Janice

Finally braved the line and tried Bear's Cup (usually we eat at Sunrise Cafe across the street)…read more Given that the lines are long I'd say you can find pretty comparable things across the street at Sunrise, like ice coffee and lattes, pastries and egg sandwiches. The coffee here is a bit fancier though, that's all. But the real difference is the bagels. Bear's Cup is serving up a thick and fluffy New York style bagel. I'm not sure if you can find that anywhere else in Bolton. When my kids want a bagel and CC for breakfast it definitely makes sense to come here over Sunrise!

We use it as a quick and less pricey bfast option when we're staying at the Sagamore. You need to get there before it even opens (8am) if you want a decent spot in line otherwise you're probably waiting awhile depending when you get there. I loveeee the bacon or sausage egg & cheese on a bagel or just bagel + butter. They have had some mix-ups at times but they are usually forgiving for them if you mention it (i.e. sesame rather than everything bagel). The pastries are all fantastic but you MUST get the BEAR CLAW!!!- chocolate almond crissont. I dream of this thing until I finally return in the summer and we make sure we always have one extra in the fridge while there lol. Besides little mix-ups and the wait, only other negative I can think of is it would be nice if they had some tables there rather than just to-go. Ok ending this review by repeating.... BEAR CLAW!!!!! MUST!!
