Cool pub and a cool British vibe as well. We came and was seated immediately. Note that the place isn't big. The staff was friendly, which was nice. I ordered something that was similar to a chicken pot pie. It was pretty tasty. Although I would say the puff pastry gets pretty messy, but maybe I was just an idiot and don't know how to eat it! The "chips" that can with it were good as well. My only complaint was that the dish was small, so if you are starving, you might still be hungry after. The price was a bit steep for what you get, but you do get authentic British food so that's cool.

A British in the midst of south Tulsa! Great pub environment, great draft beer selections, great fish/chips, and great service. Parking is weird so park on the street. They said it was ok.

Cute pub atmosphere. Staff attentive. Owner even checked on us. We had the chicken Devonshire and fish and chips. Both were good.

Service was outstanding we learned about the history of there family and the food! Looking forward to coming back I'd highly recommend a reservation. Crab dip was exceptional! Fish and chips were pretty awesome being 7,325km from London.

Why haven't we been eating here before? We came for dinner here for first time tonight and are listening to Beatles classics as we write this. The word that comes to mind immediately when walking in is "quaint" but it's even better than quaint! The Taste of the Midlands is a wonderful take on cottage pie. Just throw the peas right in. This piping hot bowl was full of delicious chunky meat in a delish gravy sauce. The fish and chips were crispy on the outside yet flaky and delicate within. Really feels like home.

A nice glass of wine whilst enjoying the ambiance.

If you want a true pub experience then White Lion is your place. Greeted promptly and offered a choice of beers and spirits. We were given suggestions for beer and menu items. They have themed events that I I plan to attend! The walls are covered in decor and pictures and articles. Cozy! That's the word for this place! I can't wait to go back!

I don't care for the the cuisine unfortunately. Aside for the fish and chips the menu does not attract me. Accommodations feel cramped.

Really neat atmosphere- very Brit Pub chic. My disappointment is their pasties aren't made with a hearty crust like my grandma's.

Great service! Had the Devonshire with a side of gravy and it was absolutely delicious! You must ask to add the gravy on the side.

From a recent visit on Valentine's Day due to a spot having their kitchen close early (my pops was performing across the street so when they were done, we came over here), I'm glad we ended up eating here. We came in, got greeted instantly & even got a table the moment after we got greeted. I find it wild that we usually get seated by the stairs in the middle, not in a bad way, I really like that table & we end up there a majority of the time when it's just us two. I wish I remembered our server's name, she did an excellent job. I went with the Whiskey Burger & it was incredible. The wait on the food didn't take long at all. The whiskey chipotle BBQ sauce stole the show. The burger was perfect. The sweet potato fries went well with the burger, I got honey mustard as my dipping sauce. I was so hungry that I ran through my whole plate in a snap of a finger. I enjoyed that night, no complaints whatsoever. Side Note: The Olympics were going on & Curling was on the television on my right. I actually looked up how the sport takes place & I learned something new that night (outside of the fact that Curling always intrigued me).

We opted for this Irish themed pub last night for dinner, and can't say enough about the service, food and atmosphere. McNellie's (sounds Irish, right?) is located on one of the seemingly lonely streets near downtown, and came highly recommended by our hotel barista. The ambiance is definitely Irish-pub--dark wood, old wooden floors and walls of exposed brick--definitely a cool sanctuary from the oppressive summer heat and humidity. And what better way to quench your thirst and beer curiosity than choosing from hundreds of beers both on tap and bottled. For the local beer enthusiasts there is a Centennial club which rewards frequent imbibers with gifts leading up to the coveted pottery mug! Our server, McKayla--was delightful. She definitely enjoyed serving us, and offered recommendations good service and conversation. The summer salad caught my wife's eye, and she enjoyed the fresh mix of roasted pistachios, cheese, watermelon and mango. I jumped at the fish and chips, which I can honesty was the best I've ever had--topping what we had years ago at an English pub by a mile. McNellie's fish portion was large, and the batter was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I was a little surprised with the small portion of chips (fries), as most establishments seem give you lot, but I guess I was thankful in a way. With some beer left in our glasses, we decided to order a plate of fries (white and sweet) for desert! If you like beer and good Irish comfort food, McNellie's is a sure bet!

Prices may seem a little bit high on the food, but I do think it's worth it based on how much you get. The drinks on the other hand... I'm not enough of a drinker to know if the prices are fair, but they do seem a little bit high to me. They're great, but they do see them on the higher end as far as price is concerned for a mixed drink in Tulsa. It's a fun atmosphere, and they are really easy to work with as far as if you want to host an event here. I've hosted a handful of events here at this point with different types of people in attendance, and everyone always seems to be happy. The staff truly are super easy to work with in that aspect.

It was seat yourself and order at the bar, and there were plenty clean open tables! We were thrilled. Our drinks were poured instantly and food didn't take long at all. I love that they have cocktails added which differs from their original brewery taproom. My brat was delicious. Super hot and fresh fries. But I was actually disappointed in the cheese curds. They were gritty texture and way over salted. That was the main thing everyone told me to try, but I'd definitely still go back.
