My daughter and I shard a cinnamon raisin bagel, toasted with honey walnut cream cheese. One bite and WOW - this place makes good food. It definitely exceeded my expectations because it tasted like it was just made. Even the cream cheese is made there I think. So we stopped again on our way back down from hiking. This time I tried a latte. Good. Solid coffee. Good flavor and creamy and hot. My husband and I each got egg and cheese breakfast bagels, which were both good. My daughter went right back for the cinnamon raisin bagel but they were already sold out for the morning! She tried a plain bagel with that wonderful cream cheese. We had an hour to kill before our Alpine Adventure 3 doors down and hadn't had lunch yet. My husband and I are big fans of Boar's Head deli and when we saw they made sandwiches from their meats we had to stop in. He ordered the BLT w/ roasted tomato and garlic mayo and I had a pepper turkey wrap. The sandwiches hit the spot and a much better choice than the McDonald's across the street. The prices were decent for the touristy area. My wrap about $6.50 and the hubby's was $5.75 and they both were a decent size. We went on our safari with happy bellies. read more

Bagels are marginally better than lenders (the supermarket ones). There is no other Bagel shop for miles and not really sure what I was expecting. Pretty disappointing bagels compared to home. Cost was $12.95 for a dozen or $6.95 for a half dozen. They were pretty empty on selection at 2:30. They seem to do good business from the Loon crowd. read more

I grew up on NYC bagels so I am, fussy about bagels. The bagel I had was at 8:00 am which is a good time to get a bagel. The bagel I had was good, the coffee was great and the Sevice was courteous, accurate, friendly and prompt. I recommend this place! Don't come in the afternoon before closing and expect a good bagel at any bagel site. Don't buy day old bagels unless you lost your job and you are behind on your mortgage. read more

If you order online they add a "pick up charge" and it will not be reflected in the total until you enter your CC information and pay. They say it's for "the convenience" but when I got there I had to make my coffees as well. Over 3$ to pick up my food and then make the coffees when I get there?. Food was good, coffee was ok. My family stopped in for a bite to eat after our Alpine Adventure tour. It is just a few spots down on the left. We waited in line and when it was our turn , the cashier told us they only had a one plain bagel left or they could warm up a frozen one. The last plain bagel was out of the basket and crushed against the back wall. It was obvious to anyone and everyone in line. Why in the world would they try to sell us that? We should have turned around and left. I went with a BLT on the the frozen, albeit toasted, bagel. It was ok and was not terribly expensive. I would skip this place and head over to the Bob and Bills Roast Beef place next door. read more

One of the better eateries in this area for breakfast. It's quick and semi-convenient (although a bit slow). They had a good selection of bagels and we got a couple breakfast sandwiches for around $10. The only thing that skeezed me was that the 4 young ladies behind the counter seriously looked unshowered. Nice little Mom & Pop type establishment, with half a dozen tables inside and a wide variety of bagels to choose from. I had a lovely egg and ham filled breakfast bagel, while the wife went for a cinnamon. Coffee was fine and they even knocked up a hot tea for my better half. Price came in very similar to what you'd expect from one of the big chains, so there's no excuse not to support the little fella' instead! read more

In my experience, a bagel that properly splits the difference between soft and toasted is rather hard to find, but White Mountain Bagel does the trick. I imagine it has to do with their freshness. Great bagels! This place is right off the highway and they have by far the best jalapeño cream cheese I have ever had in my entire life. Great spice and big chunks/whole slices of jalapeño deliciousness! Pair it with an Asiago bagel for magic. If they had a campaign to sell jalapeño bagels, they would sell them like gang busters. I have a bagel shop by my house that sells a limited supply of them and the bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches that come from this pairing are fresh AF. My only critique would be they need to think about expanding the location as the place gets packed quick. I'm sure they're losing business to DD and McDonalds and they really shouldn't because they have great staff and an amazing product. If there's a big line, be patient. It's worth it. Keep up the great work and please consider expanding the operation as I'd love for this to be a mainstay in the area for years and years. read more

It's really good food at really reasonable prices for a resort town out in the middle of nowhere. We ate there 3 times in 10 days.

The bagels were delicious and the service was excellent. After our breakfast we were getting ready to leave and noticed our tire pressure sensor was on amd got out of the car to check the tires. The owner came out and asked if we needed any help. He then proceeded next door to his bike shop and brought over a compressor so we could check and fill all our tires. He was so friendly and eager to help. We will definitely be back, hopefully just for bagels next time!! read more

We are on a trip up north and needed lunch. This place had high reviews and was easy to access from the highway. It was lunch time when we arrived so I was fine waiting for my food. However, I ordered the Thanksgiving panini and received it with no stuffing. By the time I realized we were already back on the road so I let it go but after paying about ten dollars I'm very annoyed with the result. The food was mediocre, they also forgot my coffee until I pointed it out. Next time (if there is one) I will be sure to check my order before I head out. read more

Wait, this is a bagel place? Yeah, they have bagels, but you really should try their sandwhiches. The Hobo might be the best of the bunch. I believe they have bread you can get the sandwhiches on, but really get it on a bagel, you're at a bagel shop. The seating outside is great in summer, the service is really fast, and the people are always nice. White Mountain Bagel is my usual breakfast spot on the way to the trail head. Their bagels are tasty but the eggs are microwaved, hence the three stars. I would much prefer to have eggs made on a griddle, but sometimes the service is slow even with the microwaving, so not sure if this would make things even less timely. Coffee is ok. It's green mountain coffee. They usually have two or three types of iced coffee, two flavored and one plain. I usually leave satisfied and they are open early which is a plus. I haven't had any issues with unfriendly workers like other reviewers have mentioned and they usually have plenty of seating when I'm there (early). I can usually get a breakfast sandwich and coffee for about 6$. read more
