Finding great food near Bartlett and North Conway isn't that easy. Luckily every time we've been to this place, the dinners have been wonderful. We always make a reservation, because the place is always busy. We started with the "Sautéed Fiddleheads; a day-of special; due to the chef picking some that were growing outside of his apartment. This was such a treat. The Parmesan Bread was ok. More like Texas Toast, found in the supermarket. My wife's Ricotta Basil Gnocchi with Scallops (+16) was a great way to keep out the chilly mountain air. My Ancho & Garlic Grilled Pork Chop was tender, and went well with the salty Garlic/Thyme Hash Browns That entree was huge, and we took about half of it home (Made A Good Snack) We passed on dessert, since we had them all before in past visits. Our server Emma, was very outgoing, and excited for meal choices. There are only about 4 or 5 great restaurants, in the area. This is one of them !

Blue fin tuna, crispy chokes, jicama, cannot remember the delicious green sauce

Incredible staff, especially bartenders Emma and Rich. delicious food, great service, we love Zach, Brandon, Joanna. Friendly staff and creative cocktails

Tuscan Chicken Cacciatore & Kids Alfredo w/ Shrimp

Best meal we had on our trip! We decided to give this place a try after driving by because of its close proximity to our Airbnb. The outside is unsuspecting and our hopes were not very high as it is fairly difficult to find decent food in the area. We were pleasantly surprised! We arrived 30 minutes before they opened (unaware they were closed) and were still met with kindness and helpful staff who made a reservation for us for when they opened. We sat outside which was perfect with a toddler. Staff were very friendly and service was great. We were skeptical of the menu as it is limited but all of our meals were excellent. We were even shocked by the quality of the kids Alfredo with shrimp. Everything tasted fresh. A little pricey but worth every penny. Will absolutely be back!

Was the ambiance nice? Yes Was the food good? Yes Were the portions decent? Yes Was the server attentive? Yes Was it overpriced for what you actually receive? Yes For the general location, I didn't think the 5 entrees they offer warranted $32-$47 price tag. While it was a nice meal, not sure it's worth a second visit.

Our first time here. Our innkeeper recommended. Let me just say it was amazing! We sat outside, lovely patio and gorgeous weather. We both had the Cidertini to start, of course we had to get something with cider in it, and it did not disappoint. We got the littleneck appetizer, and it was so good! The clams were so fresh; they tasted like the ocean. The sauce and herbs added so many layers of flavors, it really was incredible. For our entrees, my husband got the bouillabaisse, the broth was very flavorful. I got the double duck and the duck was cooked perfectly, and the seasoning and cook on the skin was ridiculously good! Of course we had to end with the apple cider donuts. The caramel was very tasty and the donuts were delicious. All in all one of the best meals we have had in NH, and we have been coming since we were both children. We will definitely be back!

Always a great meal. Last night we went for pub food (burgers and the chicken salad). Very good, very filling, very satisfied.

Both were DELICIOUS. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the fries were amazing as well. The salad was great too. For drinks, we got the key lime pie martini and the lemon lavender martini. The service was quick and great too. The best part was the ambience - they have live music starting at 9 pm and some nights it's open mic. So we got dinner with an impromptu show and we loved it. I would come back here when I'm visiting again. One thing I would check before heading here for dinner is the hours. They are not open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays like most restaurants in the area due to staff shortage so I would double check they are open before making dinner plans here.

Second night we booked a reservation online and again was seamless. We were impressed by how clean everything was and how comfortable the dining room is, even with the number of people in it. Don't skip out on the corn on the cob or the baked potato. Who knew those sides could be something you would want again and again?! Service was slow, there didn't seem to be enough staff as was the case everywhere we went in the No. Conway area over the 4 days we were up there. My husband ordered the fish sandwich and got the chicken sandwich (with tarter sauce). It took about 20 minutes for our waiter to return to check on us, at which time the problem was corrected quickly. Everybody else was pretty much done eating while my husband tried to quickly eat his meal. The rest of the food everybody ordered was good, the grandchildren were happy with their kids meals. Drinks were good, but again it took a long time for them to arrive. There just doesn't seem to be enough help in any of the food service establishments up there. Wait staff were running ragged everywhere we went. I don't blame the workers or the establishments, it's just a commentary on how much help there is available. If you go, just pack your patience and don't wait until anybody is hangry!!
