Yum! Our salad, pizza, and drinks were delicious! I had sparkling rosé and my sister had the frozé (frozen rosé). The latter was sweet due to the puréed strawberries but you also got the kick of vermouth! The side salad had a nice salty vinaigrette which worked well with the red onions and candied pecans (or walnuts?). The Ava Angelini pizza is one of the best pizzas I've ever had! Something about the thin crust + garlic oil + cheese + arugula + crispy prosciutto = heaven! We sat outside which was lovely, the ambience inside looked dark and romantic so I think I'll wait for a cozy winter night to utilize that area for a date night. So the pizzas were amazing. I have to say there wasn't a bad bite at all. My boyfriend had the Chicken Parmesan. It was also mouth watering. The only bad thing is I felt the waitress was a bit off. We got here about 10 minutes after our party of 9, had sat down got here and she introduce herself, just asked us what we wanted to drink and if we were ready to eat. Which in part it may be good, but I would ALWAYS like to know whose serving us, because it makes the environment. This restaurant has such a great ambiance and great hostesses. My party and I had a great time. I have only ever been to one other restaurant that had a community table but you had go and seat yourself. I like that at White Pie rather than you go to sit at the community on your own, the hostesses seat you. The coal fire pizza was delicious. We were a party of 4, when the food arrived 3 of us got our food but accidentally our waitress put a different order than what he had placed. She apologized and sent him another pizza in the meantime as his was being made. All in all, I would definitely recommend anyone to come eat at this restaurant. read more

First time visit on a Wednesday evening before a holiday week and this place had it all together! We had a group for a corporate dinner and the wait staff was super accommodating and very patient. Drinks were tasty and fresh, water was kept filled in glass carafes for the entire table. The Burrata, the Puff, the White Pie and the Porky Pecorino did not disappoint. As a Chicagoan who misses the variety of pizza in the Windy City, this place will be on my regular pizza fix rotation here in Denver. The atmosphere was small group, family, and medium group friendly. They even have seating overlooking the pizza prep station. We did not save room for dessert but there will be a next time. One of the places that I consistently pass by during my quarantine walks, and I finally decided to get some of their pizza to go. I was torn between the White Pie and the Pepperoni, but had to start with a classic to see how it stacks up against some of other spots. The flavor was on point! Loved the thin crust and how it was slightly charred! They use pepperoni cups, so A+ on that aspect! This places is going on my favorites list. I have been here a few times now for dinner and happy hour and I have never had a bad experience. The pizzas are thin and cooked with their awesome brick oven. If you sit at the bar, you get to watch them make the pies as they come in and out of the oven. I definitely recommend getting the Puff and the Burrata. Both are great starters, and the Puff is comically huge (but thin, so you don't have to worry about getting filled up before the pizza). I've had the Mootz, Fuggetaboutit, and the Ava Angelini, and loved them all. I don't think you can really go wrong with a pizza selection. Big fan of the restaurant setting too. Oh my goodness, this was so delicious! Not your normal pizza place, so look over the menu beforehand. We had the puff for an appetizer, and it did not disappoint. So light and simple. It's not a bunch of heavy bread like we thought it might be. We opted for the porky porkorino for our pie, and I was in heaven. I like a little extra spice and our sweet waitress suggested the red pepper and garlic oil on the side. Nailed it! Today, as my lunchtime approached, I ordered a white pie and a rigatoni bake-at-home dinner. When I arrived, I thought about taking the afternoon off from work and added a hibiscus marg to the order. The drink had enough sour highlighted by the sweet of hibiscus. Seriously, the best white pie I've had - and I'm Italian. The thin crust had a crisp bite with an obvious chew factor. This is very difficult to achieve. Bravo, Chef. The toppings were enough to satisfy without being greasy, also difficult to balance. I am looking forward to the rigatoni bake for tomorrow evening. Cool place with usually well executed dishes. My Cesar salad was fantastic and so was the pasta. The one complaint I had was the amount of cheese on my pizza- it had too much. I know this isn't a common complaint with pizzas, however these thin New Haven style pizza come across at their best with a light hand when it comes to toppings including the cheese. I've eaten here several times and sometimes they get it right and sometimes they don't. The pizza cook on 11/04 didn't. He just had a heavy hand when it came to the cheese which made the slices difficult to eat and muddled the other toppings. Overall a good joint and I'll be going back, just may avoid the pizza when a certain cook is there. That's ok as their pastas shine. read more

I loved the decor and the vibe of the restaurant but after reading previous reviews I was under the impression that the chefs behind the pizza bar were friendly, which they were definitely not. My boyfriend and I love sitting at bars because we like to meet and chat with new people. We were so excited when we walked in and there were 2 spots at the bar but very soon after sitting down did we realize that these guys making pizza not only wanted nothing to do with us but looked like they hated their job and even whispered to each other very rudely. Never once acknowledged us even though we were sitting directly in front of them. Super disappointing, it almost made us uncomfortable to be there. I will say the other staff was very friendly. In regards to the food, the burrata itself was delicious but they served it with cold bread that had so many holes you could barely put the burrata on it. It was like an empty circle of crust. My wife and I felt forgotten in the corner between empty glasses, drinks that took 20 minutes to be delivered, and our pizzas that we needed to remind the waitress we were waiting on. Watching our waitress talk to the kitchen staff about what happened (open concept kitchen makes this fun) was comical. It was obvious there was a miscue somewhere and they fired that pizza immediately. The Host/manager was extremely rude and he moved three times after being seated by the hostess; without one word of apology or regret. They seemed frazzled and very unorganized.
