I've been to White Pie before, and have loved their pizza, but had to come back to try the viral chicken Caesar wrap -- so good. Hard to explain how something so simple can be so good but it is! Had the Aperol spritz to start, which can't go wrong with that and then the star of the show -- the wrap! Absolutely mandatory that you get an extra side of the Caesar dressing on the side, it is literally crack, I was dipping my chips into it. We stopped by for a quick bite before heading somewhere else for dinner, so we didn't actually order any of their pizzas (wish we had the room for it since it smelled so nice in there). They were running some specials so we opted for drinks and the blood orange burrata, plus a cobb salad. Cobb salad was huge (way larger than I expected and I appreciated the sauce on the side by default) and the burrata was good but a tad overpriced IMO. For drinks, we tried the spring spritz and basil limeade cocktail, both were refreshing and tasty. Staff was attentive and friendly and I liked the decor and aesthetic of this place. Came back again to try the chicken Caesar wrap and was also craving a simple cheese pizza! Again, was super pleased with this place. They chicken Caesar was great, I get the hype behind it. In my photo it looks like there's not a lot of chicken but I promise there's more underneath. (I may still ask for extra chicken next time though, because it was seasoned phenomenally) Their pizza was a hit as usual, with great flavor and a firm undercarriage (crucial to a good pizza) and I am a huge fan of their ranch. Beautiful open seating with impressive wood oven and exposed brick walls with greenery everywhere. We were very excited to try the White Haven pizzas after being introduced to them in Connecticut. We decided to stick to the basic pepperoni and on the recommendation of our server, the March special. The pepperoni pie came out first and was charred beautifully. The cheese was hot and melty when you pulled off a slice. Cupped pepperoni is also a nice touch. Unfortunately the special pizza arrived cold. It just did not taste fresh. Did it sit out for a while? Hard to tell when it's smothered with arugula so you don't realize it until you bite i to it. Both pies were barely sliced so it was hard to pull off decent slices. read more

I saw viral videos on social media regarding the Chicken caesar wrap and had to check out this place. I totally agree that that's the best Chicken Caesar wrap that I've tried so far. The chicken was lightly breaded, tasty dressing and Parmesan crisps added that final touch. You have to upgrade to Parmesan fries, because they are the best! Don't forget to get the side of their ranch with it. We ordered few different pizzas as well and I love their thin crust! So many cool options for your toppings. Food: New Haven style pizza is a new contender for favorite styles of pizza along with its other thin crust counterparts. Our Grateful Dead pizza was absolutely delicious! We ended up ordering meatballs on the side because there were no options presented to us to add anything to any of the pizzas. The spritz and the lager we ordered were also good. I think it's odd to give only 3 meatballs for the price if the core customer base comes in pairs and it's a shared appetizer. I ordered pizza for takeout and it was ready when I arrived but oddly there wasn't an option to schedule an order for later, only for 20-30 minutes from time of ordering. They had a really great selection of new haven style and Sicilian pizzas. I really enjoyed the everything seasoned crust on the blondie and the toppings of ricotta, arugula, caramelized onions, fried shallots and cremini mushrooms. My only complaint for the pizza itself is that there were lemon seeds on it which I'm fairly certain weren't meant to be there. I didn't realize at first and ate the seeds which obviously had a strange taste. There's a 5% kitchen appreciation fee for all orders both dine in and takeout and when you order online it defaults to a 20% gratuity (which you can modify) The inside of the restaurant was really pretty with a lot of plants and a perfect view of the pizza oven. I'd like to go back for dine in and try more of their menu including their apps and cannolis! read more

In celebration for Pi Day, my husband and I decided to head over to White Pie. This restaurant has been on my husband's list for a while, and I'm glad that we were able to stop by on 3.14 day. The service was impeccable, the moment we walked in, we were greeted. The restaurant's ambiance was super cozy and chill with their open layout and brick walls. The food you ask? DELICIOUS! We had the meatballs, cheese bread, the porky porkorino pizza, and I also had a hamburger (random, I know, but it sounded really good). Anywho, back to the food... The meatballs: 10/10 -- they were in these cute little individual saucers filled with tomato sauce, a Parmesan crisp, and basil-- perfectly seasoned and delicious. The cheese bread: 9/10- this was a perfect addition to the meatballs, I just wish there was a tad bit more of cheese, but the flavor was great. Porky Porkorino: 9/10- this was delicious and the hot honey was a great surprise in each bite. Hamburger: 10/10- the burger was perfectly cooked with sautéed onions and the bun was toasted to add a nice texture to the burger. I went to White Pie in search of pizza that's more aligned with East Coast styles. I haven't tried New Haven style since I haven't been, but wanted to give it a try. This restaurant came up since my partner has been trying to find white pizza for me like what you find in NYC. This is not that, but that doesn't take away from the amazing experience here. I love the wood fired pizza experience too! When we got here on a Saturday evening we only had to wait about 15 minutes from a table. It was lively, but it wasn't so crowded that we would've left. We were seated at a long table holding multiple parties, which was fine. We were so excited to try some new food! We started with the House Puff, which is basically plain dough with delicious garlic rosemary butter. We also ordered hot honey to go with it. I love the hot honey combo with it! I also used it later for my pizzas too, which was awesome! Their White Pie under the New Haven pies is something you absolutely need to try when you visit. I'm not a big fan of mushrooms normally, but I truly enjoyed this pizza. The egg was such a fun touch too. I would get this every time. We also tried the Soho Sleeper Sicilian pie. We liked this one, but truly preferred the taste of the New Haven style pie. It felt like something was just missing for us there. I think we'll go back at some point and give another Sicilian a try. I had their mocktail which was a Hisbiscus Mocktail. It was very similar to a Jamaica to me, which I love! This place has one of my favorite Caesar salads. I also love that they have ginger beer as a N/A drink option that gets refills. GET THE HOUSE PUFF, it's huge and delicious. You'll need to request the marinara separately if you want it, I would recommend getting the sauce and using any leftover for your pizza. The vibe inside is fun and always festive during holidays but the service is a bit slow. This is a small place in Denver with a great vibe. Wood fired oven is the focal point of the restaurant and bar. A small outdoor patio, unfortunately it was a little rainy. At 6:30 on Saturday night, we had about a 20 minute wait for a table for 2. We had the meatballs for starter. They were full of flavor with a nice sauce. We had the Mootz and Butternut Banger pizzas. Both were very tasty. The banger had a little spice to it. They had a nice crisp to them from the wood fire. The drinks were nice, even the house prosecco and red wine. My daughter recommended this place as she's been here before and it did not disappoint. We parked on the street and walked in to brick and wood decor with plants hanging down the walls. The lightning was soft. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We shared a plate of warm pizza dough with pesto. Another date night, another pizza night! My husband and I split the house puff, house greens salad, and Rocco Brocco pizza. The puff is a staple - every table ordered it. They take their pizza dough, bake until puffed, and top with rosemary-garlic butter. Definitely recommend getting with marinara and dipping sauces to elevate. The house greens was lovely - candied pecans never falter. The pizza was a bit underwhelming. Great dough but the white sauce is a bit dry and the amount of broccolini was less than to be desired for a "broccolini" pizza. I'll be erring toward their red sauce pies when we return. This was the perfect amount of food to split for us two! The service was kind and personable. They were pretty lax on urgency, so cocktails took a bit longer to come out, requested takeaway box some time, and then some more to get the check. Not a star knock-off aspect for me, and happy to live a bit of the slower European lifestyle for a meal and chat up my hubby. We also tried the fromage a trois ($21). Server recommended to add jalapeños based on his preference. Great recommendation! Solid pizza with the original recipe blend three cheeses but needed a lil somethin' somethin' more like jalapeños or sausage. Still was outshined by porky by flavor and value. @white_pie_pizzeria was my favorite pizza spot when I lived in Colorado Springs, so it makes me so happy to be able to continue to enjoy it here in Denver as well! White Pie is one of my favorite Neapolitan style Italian spots for many reasons, but the biggest is their namesake. What a pleasant experience dining here for the first time! My friend and I arrived around 7pm on a Saturday night - it was populated, but we were still able to get a table without reservations. We each tried the frose (sweet and delicious!), I also had a cosmo (so yummy) and my friend had an old fashioned. We tried the burrata and beef carpaccio for starters; the burrata was delicious! The added pesto really enhanced the flavor. We split the Ava Angelini pizza and spread some of the pesto from the burrata onto it for a wonderful taste! Some of the drinks and food took awhile, but surprisingly it was not the deep dish pizza they mentioned would take longer (that actually came out first!). I wish the caesar salad was chopped up.
