Can anyone in the community help me obtain contact information for Mark Rogers, the CEO of Mayflower/United? White Star is part of that corporation and Mark Rogers needs to know how White Star treats its customers. My out-of-state move was a nightmare with White Star. They refused to bring enough boxes, misquoted the job and on moving day demanded more money for additional boxes. The movers kept sneaking out early before the job was completed and I had to keep calling them to return to complete the job. They promised a one-truck, out-of-state move, which White Star does NOT have, lost, damaged, and stole items. Then they had the audacity to waste two years to "settle" the job. The job was NEVER settled. I also found items that didn't belong to me, mixed into boxes of my things--proving that White Star pilfered though my boxes. White Star never asked about those items so they could return them to the rightful owner. This is some of the psycho babble that the "non-partial arbitrators" claimed for denying my settlement. "Carrier had to leave and return for additional items several times during the day, and ultimately some of her goods had to be shipped on a separate van. Carrier does not and did not then offer a guarantee of one-truck delivery." That was NEVER discussed with me. They didn't "have to leave" they snuck off without my knowledge. I've had my fair share of moves (locally, nationwide, and overseas) and this company - by far - has been the best yet. White Star Movers were assigned to handle the job for my upcoming move to Japan from Michigan, and they exceeded my expectations. Not only were they courteous and efficient - staff was timely, communicative, and took care of all our belongings. It's always a little awkward when movers come into your home, because they are seeing all the intimate and personal aspects of your life. I had a number of fragile family heirlooms that needed special care and Dan, Tayzon, Noah, and Brandon T ensured my items were packed carefully and handled everything with care. When I commented on how well they had wrapped the items, Noah replied, "In my mind, these are MY things and I'd want them to be packed carefully." And that's what you're looking for in movers - people who remember that all the contents in your home are special and require extra special care. It is rare to find a moving company that hits all the marks, but White Star is it. If you ever find yourself looking for a moving company that will treat you and your belongings with respect and appreciation, then White Star is the way to go! We have had an EXCELLENT experience with White star movers. We are not yet moved in because our stuff will be in storage for a couple of months, so we can't comment on delivery and unloading yet, but as stressful as preparing for a move is, everyone at White Star has made it as easy as possible, from getting a quote and getting honest, transparent answers to questions (Eric), to packing and loading. The packing team (Riley, Destiny, Curtis and Bob) was friendly, personable, respectful, knowledgeable, efficient and hardworking. The loading team (Dan, Troy, Chase and Rob) was amazing, also: friendly, respectful, knowledgeable and efficient and hardworking working. The entire team demonstrated pride in the quality of their work - very impressive. Their ability to figure out how to pack things with maximum efficiency in minimum space was remarkable - clearly tons of experience contributed to this. Most furniture was hand moved to minimize dollys and equipment clunking up and down stairs. They worked very well together as a team! NO banging around and hitting walls and moldings. I want to thank you for the best moving experience  I've ever had and I've had over 2 dozen. My friend recommended you but you didn't have availability when I needed to move so I booked someone else. I took a chance and called you less than a week before my move and a spot had opened up. I grabbed it and canceled with the other company. From the minute Ben Slavin and Josh J. arrived I knew I'd made the right decision. They asked me to walk them through my condo and point out any concerns or special instructions.  They were friendly and professional throughout the almost 5 hours they were here. They were extremely careful and very efficient. They worked very well together and treated each other and me with respect. They were genuinely good natured and never complained even though there were a few logistical challenges. I booked my scheduled move online (easy to do too, which is a plus) with White Star Movers for 06/22/2017, but due to work, had to reschedule. Actual move was on 7/28/2017. First time I've ever used White Star Movers, though I have used Mayflower on long moves before. Tony M. and Wyatt were the moving team to show up. Both were very courteous, efficient in moving my items, many of which were very heavy. They were careful to not place the boxes against the walls in the new place to make sure there were no scratches, too. I think Tony was the senior/supervisor, and he was very conscientious and continuously professional. Both were very positive and upbeat throughout the move. Only complaints that I have was that: (1) they came earlier than expected (requested between 0800am-0830 am; they showed up at 0735am while I was still in the shower); and (2) placed extremely heavy box containing books on my sofa that I ended up needing to move. read more

My husband, and I recently moved from Clinton Township to Washington Township, MI and used White Star Movers. We could not be happier with the exceptional and professional job of the 3young men who helped us. What was supposed to be only a few hours, and one truck load... turned into12hours, drop off trips to the local Salvation Army/ storage units. ALL IN A SNOWSTORM. Corey, Nick and Brad were so careful moving all of our furniture up and down flights of stairs, not one time did they scratch, run or bump one of our walls. These young men never once complained, or made any of the days "setbacks" feel like they were a problem. They are three of the (strongest) and hardest working young men. We truly appreciated all they did for us and would not only recommend White Star Movers; but Nick, Corey and Brad to anyone!!!! The price rate was 100% fair. read more

Our realtor recommended White Star and we're really glad she did. The three movers who came, Nash, Matt and Sonny, were the best! They were punctual, professional and very helpful. They made what could have been a stressful day very enjoyable. They were being paid by the hour so they could have dragged out the move but they were efficient with their time. If they had amy questions, they would ask to clarify where we wanted things put. They treated our possessions with the same care they would have treated their own. If we could give 10 stars... we would. We used the Westland, Michigan office for our move from Plymouth to Lake Orion and I can't say enough about Brett, the team leader and Dwayne & Andrew as the rest of the crew. They were very respectful of our furniture and home. Because we are retired and not able to lift heavy objects they were always asking "is there something else you need moved?" including going up and down stairs (these items were not included in the quote). Thoroughly impressed by how seamless the process with White Star Movers was from start to finish! The team's Christina took time to provide an accurate estimate of the cost of service with the very first call and fit us into their summer moving schedule quickly seeing as we had a tight timeline. On the day of the move, Trace and Jake were a pleasure to work with and took great care of our belongings. I moved today for the first time in years. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I got the best. From the first phone call with the scheduler, my questions were answered and everything worked just as described. I had Will and Jim C. and couldn't be happier. They arrived right on time, were very polite, and did a great job loading and unloading the truck. They placed the furniture where I wanted and when I changed my mind they were pleasant and moved the furniture again until everything was just as desired. White Star Movers is great! JoAnn gave us the estimate and was very helpful and informative with preparing us for the move. Don W., Mike B., and Kel P. did our move and were great! they were friendly, careful and FAST. I was really dreading the day of the move , but when the guys show up at 7:45 and started organizing and putting our boxes and furniture in the truck with ease i realize i was in good hands. I used White Star Movers this past weekend. My crew consisted of Jason, Jake, and Dominic. They were all respectful, efficient, and careful. Jason was the crew leader and was friendly and helpful throughout the move. The guys got the house loaded for moving/storage much faster than was quoted (despite some heavy and awkward pieces) and I never heard a complaint. I am very impressed! Bobby and Leo came around 12:40pm, we were quoted between 11-3pm (which i think is too big of a window to give someone ). Anyways they got to work very quick . Matt's team of five guys broke down desks, was careful of walls, and reassembled everything perfectly. I was anticipating a ton of touch-up painting in our new space and none was needed.
