Hopefully Kevin wants your business because if he doesn't he ignores your emails and voicemails. I had a problem with a Lafayette Shade brought it to Kevin's shop he ignored my messages then told me that it was $800 to replace and it could not be fixed. I took it to TS Interiors, they found out it's under lifetime warranty and they're getting it fixed with me paying the shipping charges. I guess Kevin will not be outfitting my new house that I just purchased in corona. read more

I called this morning to schedule a quote for blackout curtains and blinds. The woman on the phone was nice and explained that it's easier to go into the store first, pick out my curtains/blinds and then someone can go to my home to do measurements after. I went into the store between 3-3:30 and the employee there said I needed measurements first. I said, that's not what I was told earlier and explained what I was told. I had my 2 year old daughter with me. The employee took out 2 fabric books for me to look through. My daughter had a doll with her and tried to talk to the employee saying, "Hi, look, I have a doll. Look at my doll." I assumed she didn't notice my daughter trying to talk to her. My daughter wasn't yelling or jumping around, just standing there being cute and wanting to show her something. After a few more times of asking and moving closer to her trying to get her attention, my daughter turns to me and asks, "Mommy, can you say excuse me?" Encouraging her independence, I said, "You can say it." My baby said , "Excuse me, look at my doll." The employee crouched a little and said in an impatient, rude tone to my daughter , "I'm busy helping your mom right now, tell your mom to look at your doll." She spoke to her as if she was bothering her. In that instant, I picked up my daughter, said "That was rude." And I walked out. Acknowledging and being nice to children is common curtesy, but in business, it's even more important. Parents notice. read more

We began the process seeking to obtain a simple blackout curtain to place on a separate track between a sheer drape and a sliding door. When we were done we had a drape that cost probably twice as much as it should have and was hung on the track facing the room. It was not until the installer arrived and insisted that the drape had to hang on the track facing the room that we knew the order had been screwed up. However, we will live with it because we are tired of the whole process. This whole process has been very frustrating. I originally tried to buy online and at the suggestion of blinds.com had one of their authorized personnel come to my home to measure three sliding doors for blackout drapes. I paid him $85 and once I had the measurements blinds.com then told me that they do not sell simple blackout drapes that would glide on a track between the sheers and the doors. read more

I've not used this business before myself but I can testify to this family owned business as highly ethical, quick and caring. My 90+ year old father in law recently had a minor malfunction with the 10ft high vertical blinds they installed for him 13 years ago. He called to see if anyone would be able to help him out and as he tells it "the owner's son rode to the rescue " the very day he called.
