This quaint pizza eatery is right on the water. Has seating inside and on their patio area. Name a pizza you desire and you should find it on their menu along with other samplings from soup to chili. The staff is kind and courteous. Whitewater is pet-friendly and their staff apparently loves to see pups on their patio area. We ordered a chili, small pepperoni pizza, a soda and three waters. Their chili is flavorful with beef and bits of sausage. The pepperoni pizza was cooked to perfection. A crispy crust and flavorful. My family and I order from this place on a consistent basis, and conveniently down the street from our house. Every time we visit, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The only bad experience I have had here was when I arrived and they hadn't called to tell me they burnt my pizza and then asked me if I would like them to make another one as if I'd want to pay for a burnt one? That was the only encounter I wasn't too happy about but everything here has always been great for me. On a night we planned on eating at the Lotus Pub, but they were closed, we crossed the river and were happy to find Whitewater Pizza open. We ordered food to eat in, had a couple of beers, and the pizza came out promptly. It was good, and we ordered more than we could eat, supplying ourselves with lunch for rafting the next day. Some of the best pizza I've ever eaten. We got the bbq chicken pizza but they were out of chicken so we subbed pepperoni instead and the flavor was so good. The service was pretty slow, which for us wasn't an issue since we weren't on a time crunch or anything. We went the day after the 4th of July and it looked like they might have been short on staff, but the team there was really nice and helpful. They were out of a few things like chicken, fountain drinks, etc. Also not a huge deal for us since they had lots of options for wine and beer but if you have any picky eaters this might be an issue. Really good pizza! We called ahead to order 2 pizzas on a Sunday afternoon and it took about 30 minutes for the pizza. They have 2 sizes, small and large. We ordered 2 of the small ones. I'm a local and I've bought pizza here at least a half dozen times since the new owners bought the pizza place from Squallys. You obviously cannot beat the location since there isn't much around Lotus, and in general the pizza is quite good. I'm writing this review because I want this place to succeed, because it's nice to have a pizza place so close by. I already complained to the workers at the restaurant but alas the problem still exists...STOP BURNING MY PIZZA! It would be different if it just happened once or twice but I think I've only had about 2-3 pizzas that were not burned out of at least 10-12 pies I've bought. Some are burned worse than others... Ive attached pictures of my latest pie which is only moderately burned this time. Anyway, I'm not going to stop going because I really hope this problem gets fixed. 10/4/23 Wife and I were camping at Coloma Resort, we had been to whitewater pizza last year and were very pleased with the food and service. Walked in and greeted promptly, ordered a lg. combination and a pitcher normal wait time about 30 min. Pizza was delicious, thanks to Dave. We noticed that they had wings and asked about them for our next order which would be Saturday. Was told by staff shouldn't be a problem also suggested to us to call our order in around noon or 1pm for pickup around 6pm Saturday 10/7/23. It's Saturday I called about 2pm and was informed by Cruse the shift manager that he couldn't take the order as it wasn't the policy to take phone orders 4 hrs early, we were also told that they were out of wings. We were told to come in around 5 and place the order which we did. Come to find out Cruse wasn't there and staff informed me that it is not policy to refuse an early phone order. The young lady working the register took our order, 5 lg. pizzas asked about wings and were told that they had 5 or 6 bags in the back. Had been there all day. We got our pizzas and wings service again was great. Wings were delicious. So now my question to the owner.... Why do you allow your manager to give out such misinformation to your customers? We hope you resolve this and give the evening staff our highest compliments for a job well done. As for Cruse I'm thinking you know what to do. I look forward to hearing back from you. I don't leave reviews unless businesses are either outstanding or terrible. I'm afraid this one falls in the second category. I'm somewhat of a local, I visit/drive through the area often and pizza is my favorite food group, so naturally I make a point to stop by any pizza places on the way. I'm willing to give businesses many chances before I decide to cross them off my list, too. I tried Whitewater Pizza for the first time last year with a few friends... it took forever to get the pie and the prices are steep, but whatever... we were having a great time and there was outdoor seating, so no big deal. When I received my pie, about 80% of it was burned. The second time I went, my pepperoni pizza was extremely greasy, but I bloated it with a paper napkin and shrugged it off. It's just pizza! Whatever. The third time I went, just last week, I got a combo: my pie was burned AND greasy! I picked it up and I was able to squeeze the grease off with my fingers. It was so bad that my husband and I didn't even finish the pizza... if you know us, that says it all; I would NEVER not finish a pizza pie. Aaaaanyway... I cannot believe I'm going to say this about pizza... any pizza... but the best way to describe what I ate is: gross. Do yourself a favor and drive 10 minutes to Cool instead. read more

Terrible service and obscene prices. The first person didnt know how big the pizzas were, when I asked if anyone else might she flat out said no and wouldnt ask anyone. Finally I asked for someone else and the new person, Mia(?), lied, saying the pizza is 16 inches wide, which it is not. For the record, their "large" is 12 inches, which is a huge drop in size from a 16 inch wide pizza(remember to multiply by pi 3.14, so they actually lied about 12+ square inches of pizza). When I saw it was $34 for a one topping "large" 12" pizza that should be $15-$20 tops I got out of there. There is plenty of food in this area that wont gouge and lie to you, I recommend looking around before coming here. read more
