New owner Brij was very easy to work with and always smiling. I had approached him about a month ago to use his space for my son's birthday party as it has ample indoor and outdoor shaded patio. Their food is always great with a full salad bar flavorful and fresh pizzas, unique flavors of soda, countless local draft beers on tap. It was the perfect place to throw my son's party! With friends of all ethnicities, Brij and Jacob were able to accommodate no garlic no onion vegetarian pizza for the devote Mandir going Hindu friends like my wife and kids. We even got down to the misted garlic powders in the oils and sauces they prepare, so we chose no sauce and no oil cheese pizzas and Mediterranean pizzas for the fine folks from BAPS. They also did a one off bucket of Fries and it was a big hit for the kids and adults alike! Mediterranean with pesto sauce is great for those who crave flavor and spices and still a great vegetarian option. Margherita and classic vegetarian were also excellent options! For the meat eaters of the group, we did bone in wings BBQ and infernal while we had naked and teriyaki for boneless kid options. They were also very well received and had to reorder a few times! My personal favorite is the aloha with pieces of bacon and pineapple. It's so good I just went back the Monday after for a lunch special of it again! Brij also recommended the garlic ranch chicken for the party and it was tasty as well. One of the first things Brij told me was how their pizza is different from other pizzas is how their dough is prepared without oils; it makes their pizza tasty without the feeling of overeaten or bloating. I always had good. Digestion after going to Steve's and I never knew why until then. Now I go to Steve's for the lunch salad and pizza deal and feel healthy eating it! Overall, the place comfortably hosted 36 adults and 40 children with zero issues! The adults had a blast mingling and having a draft beer/wine and the kids played floor puzzles on the mat as it was our birthday theme. More than a handful of kids became obsessed with the coin operated toys and Brij handed me a $10 roll of quarters. Next thing I know I was getting kids to finish a floor puzzle for quarters! Boy were the kids good at them. Brij was so amazed at the atmosphere with the children and families in the restaurant, he is thinking of incorporating floor puzzles into the restaurant in the near future. read more

I've been a customer for quite awhile. Mostly pickup. But each and every time, staff on the phone and in person has provided top notch customer service. Pizzas are received as ordered and per the stated pickup time. Pizzas are gorgeous looking, not skimpy on the toppings, and tasty. The pizzas are American style meaning it has a high gluten crust that gives it a more bready taste. Fresh out of the oven, it smells so good. The toppings taste and look like quality stuff. Yum. The menu also offers chicken wings, various sandwiches, cheese bread, and a salad bar. The location has a nice size indoor seating area with TVs tuned into sports channels. Comfortable, family friendly place. Good all around family neighborhood pizzeria. Steve's Pizza is a Sacramento area local franchise with just about a handful of locations. read more

Don't get me wrong, we have loved going to Steve's Pizza on Prairie City Road each Friday for the past couple of years. For us it was "our" 5 star local pizza place. Since the ownership change, the vibe and quality had degraded. No more classic rock music playing overhead , empty beer kegs, parmesan shakers, and dirty floors. distracted staff. Can't even answer the phone during middle of the day with no customers in store and when I go in the Bridge guy doesn't even know the family pizza is on sale. Waste of gas and time. I went there on Sunday with my family and I'd give the Pizza about a 3.5 depending on what type of pizza you got. Everything else was just every day Pizza, nothing special not very good service at all. There was one guy working and he was in a bad mood, because I asked him do they have any regular beer like Bud Light or Coors light or anything along those lines, he said look at the wall that's what we got which to me was kind of snippy but oh well, anyway it would seem we waited forever to get the pizzas and that was it. Nothing exciting just a day out getting pizza. I probably will not be back, and will be returning to mountain Mike's or one of the other local pizza places. Oh, and lastly, on top of that, the guy wanted a $27 tip. He was a cashier and didn't even bring out the pizzas. Maybe I'm wrong, but that seems like an awful lot of money for taking an order. read more

Disappointed! I recently purchased a small Steve, my favorite pizza from my favorite place and it was so disappointing. It was sent to be ready in 20-30 mins. I got there about 23 mins and it was ready. Great! Not! It was cold. The pizza had slices with more onion than other topping and they were raw. Hardly and other toppings. I had gotten the same pizza a month ago and it was phenomenal. This one made me tilling my money would have been better spent elsewhere. Not sure if I will go back. Wish I took a pic. read more

Round 2... testing to see if it was a fluke. Nope... Greeted by Sage who is the cashier. We studied the micro brew menu and settled on #16 2x Hazy Ipa By Retreat. Yummy. Cold glass. Super good hazy flavor. Went for the margherita again. It was even better. Hot, fresh and yummy. Fresh tomatoes , fresh parmesan and mozzarella, Fresh Basil sprinkled across pie. Really wanted to like this place. I ordered a pizza for my girlfriend to be delivered at her house. They said 30 minutes so I told her an ETA time and the pizza was almost 40 minutes late. After I called them, they said it was a DoorDash problem and not their problem. I don't see it that way as I ordered a pizza from them and they said they would deliver it. Their outside contract with DoorDash is not my concern and I say that reflects poorly on their business that they do not have a reliable delivery service, nor do they seem concerned about an hour old pizza getting delivered. It says a lot when a business is willing to lose a customer rather than take care of a customer that got a bad deal, so they get a bad review from me. I don't care how good the pizza is when fresh, after 45 minutes or an hour it's cold and no good. If it takes an hour to get a pizza from this place, I highly recommend no delivery. I even tipped the driver five dollars ahead of time but I swear I wish I could get that money back because the driver didn't deserve a penny. read more

We tried Steve's Pizza for the first time tonight. I had no idea Steve's Pizza even existed until I read about it on Folsom chat group. Thank you for posting. We really enjoyed "The Steve". We are actually Roundtable pizza fans but this pizza just took its place. They are set up for a salad bar but I couldn't tell if it was open. Another observation is the beer tap wall with approximately 18 taps! Nice . We look forward to Dine in with brew, hopefully soon. read more

i've loved steve's pizza since i was a little girl. they're consistently delicious, and honestly would award them the best ranch in town -- you read that right. their pizza is always made well, never over cooked, with a wide variety of options to choose from! there's an arcade area for kiddos to play while they wait for food too. it's also a great spot to go with large or small families. tons of seating available and the staff are helpful in accommodating any sized parties. steve's has become almost a weekly menu item for our household as it's such a crowd pleaser; especially when we have friends and family over. BIG fan of the pizza, the club. the perfect flavor profile from the garlic ranch sauce plus the smokiness of the bacon.. First and last time will order from here....... girl who answered the phone says "Hi" when you call ........that is it. Not what can I get you, thanks for calling Steve's pizza, nothing but Hi. Thought I called a teenager by accident and that I was bothering her....... Placed order for pizza, she said it would be there in an hour. After an hour and a half, still no pizza. Called and cancelled the order as cold pizza is so not desirable. Pizza still showed up - 2 hours later and cold (as expected) and we tossed it. Steve's needs to better train their staff to be professional when answering the phones and to also not lie to people placing orders on realistic time frame. We would have never ordered had she been honest and said it may take 2 hours. read more

Visited on a fairly busy night. As we were finding a seat, a lady who came in right after me placed her order. I placed my order next for dine in and waited. About 20-25 minutes have passed, and no sign of my order. The staff in kitchen had piled up 3-4 togo orders on top of the oven, so I started to wonder what is going on with my order. What really made me question the order status was that the lady I mentioned had already left with her togo order about 15 minutes ago by this point. So I walked up to the counter and asked for status, and the staff was like ah.. I don't know, what is your order?, and starts looking around. He comes back shortly and he doesn't know what is going on and does not seem to care. I asked for my money back and left. No attempt of how can we make it right, so they don't understand customer service. Besides, what can they do to make it right anyways? Offer me some breadsticks?!
