I went with Spire because they're local and I figured service would be significantly better than Qwest. So far, that's true. It took a week to hook up my service, due to a connection problem with Qwest (I have to pay Qwest $30 a month for the line, anyhow) and I pay Spire $12.95 to be my ISP. Download speed is not as fast as it could be, but so far service has been dependable and gimmick-free.
