Looking to satisfy an inexplicable craving for a healthy sandwich or wrap in east Delray, Yelp has pointed me here....Whole green cafe. Located 2 blocks south of the hustle and bustle of downtown, the menu features the main characters you would expect from a green cafe....wraps, bowls and smoothies. I opt for The omelet wrap which boasts, tomatoes cucumber avocado Swiss cheese and of course 2 eggs. It sounds simple, but you don't have to overcomplicate good fresh ingredients. A Sauce or aioli would have taken it to a whole new level, but this is a good wrap nonetheless. Whole green cafe gives off all kinds of San Diego vibes...a good option if you're looking for a healthy option at a reasonable price point.

Decided to drop in for lunch after my hair appointment. This place gives a Panera Bread vibe - love it! I was craving some fresh and light so I decided on a salad this one was had chicken breast, tomato, beets, peppers, onions. It came with balsamic dressing but I swapped it off for ranch. I had fresh pressed juice (green apple, carrot and celery) - it was stronger than I thought so I didn't get to finish it. While I was eating the kind lady at the register asked if I wanted to sample their triple berry smoothie... I absolutely loved it! I had to order my own to go. Overall this is a nice spot with a intimate mom and pop shop feeling. The workers were really attentive and friendly. I can't wait to drop back in after my next hair appointment.

Amazing! Whole Green Cafe is amazing! All of the dishes were fresh and tasted delicious! The food was made fresh to order and the ingredients were so incredible. The shakes and the juices were great as well. The guacamole was made fresh and it was perfectly seasoned, my family and I could have had another bowl of it. The Brussel sprouts were seasoned just right as well. The service was fantastic; all the food came out within 10mins of ordering. And the restaurant was cozy and comfortable for small groups inside and there are a few tables outside to sit as well. I can't wait to return to Whole Green Cafe! I recommend it to anyone who lives in Delray and/or visits Delray.

Huge portions of delicious fresh healthful foods, just a couple of blocks off Atlantic. This is definitely going to be my go to spot for big healthy bowls and fresh pressed green juices. It's a really cute place with seating inside and outside, and a pretty extensive menu of healthy things. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. They offered up some substitution ideas, and were more than happy to oblige since they make everything fresh. I went for the large 24oz green juice that was delicious, and they massive green salad topped with freshly cooked and super flavorful chicken. So. Dang. Good. I got about a third of mine to go since it was so big. The prices are also super reasonable for the quality and portion size. No complaints from me. Overall, a great experience with great food at great prices. See y'all in here soon!

I am rounding up from 3.5, but it deserves the round up. As someone with a vegan fiance, I am always happy to find places we can eat together that actually has options for her, and not just one thing on the menu, or just pasta with sauce or a bowl of veggies (I'm talkin protein people - beans, tofu, tempeh, saitan, etc). Now, thankfully, most of the "bowl" places that have popped up everywhere typically have a tofu option, or at least, a black bean option, and Whole Green was no different. We were here on our annual Dave Matthews Band in West Palm Beach weekend, but were staying in Delray. As has become our custom, we have brunch or lunch with another wonderful couple we met through our Dave Matthews excursion. He is vegan, she is vegetarian, so I am the black sheep. Everyone found something and everyone liked it. I ordered the quinoa bowl with chicken and I enjoyed it. There was nothing wrong with it at all. It was healthy and filling and tasty. However, there was also nothing that stood out about it. Nothing spectacular. Still, everyone enjoyed their meal, including me. This is a good option for a healthy meal, especially if you're vegetarian or vegan and want multiple options. Also, the owner was wonderful - very pleasant man - and service was excellent. So, with the service and the vegan options, I have no problems giving this the 4th star.

Discovered this great local find on a smaller street in Del Ray. Fresh ingredients, friendly customer service, and a very vibrant and healthy menu. Favorite part was pouring the maple and peanut sauce over the sautéed veggies and quinoa. Front of the house guy was very chill and said this was a crowd favorite. Happy to have to stopped by here for a quick lunch during my visit to Del Ray.

So I randomly found this place while searching for place to have a healthy breakfast. Let's just say it did not disappoint. I've gone the past two Saturdays before my beach walk. The avocado toast was probably the best I've ever had Great local spot in Delray. Give it a try.

Came here for lunch and had a delicious, healthy meal! Only got a picture of the quinoa chicken wrap and my mom said it was "the best wrap she's ever had". From the presentation to the flavor, everything was fresh and delicious. A great spot for a healthy, satisfying bite! I got the Greek salad and it was so light and fresh on a hot summer day (I love arugula) and another at my table got the Quinoa bowl which was a nice size portion and delicious. The owner is so sweet. Would highly recommend. Also noted- lots of good gluten free options! Can't wait to be back to try more!

Even though breakfast was complimentary at our hotel, I needed fresh food. I'm so glad yelp recommended Whole Green Cafe! Yessss, the food I'm accustomed to eating and preparing at home in Los Angeles. We were greeted promptly upon entry and orders taken without delay. The waitstaff was courteous to us and the other patrons as they entered the establishment. We ordered the quinoa bowl, green salad and a side of grilled vegetables. Serving sizes were large and it was delish! A/C could have been a bit cooler, quaint setting with a couple of tables outside for sidewalk seating as well. Food prep took about 10mins and the temperature of the food was hot. Couldn't finish everything, so it will be devoured for dinner.

Came here to grab an uncomplicated, easy, healthy, not over-priced dinner while visiting. The quinoa bowl I got was tasty and healthy. I don't usually write reviews. The food was not good and they did not give me the dressing for my bowl. I understand this is healthy food, however healthy food does not mean it has to be bland. The veggie burger was like the grocery store variety and it was overcooked and burned on the edges. There were only 2 small pieces of zucchini when the menu said there was a variety of roasted veggies. Overall this meal was subpar at best. I would never go here again and I would tell others to steer clean. 15$ for a bowl of rice with a veggie burger and few veggies. Such a rip off. The service was good, I waited only a few minutes upon arrival for my bowl. read more

Beware! Ordered online from GrubHub + payed in full, arrived @ Whole Green Cafe + they say they don't work with GrubHub? ... Then another person picks up the exact order I made online and leaves w/o paying ... seemed super sketchy to me - currently on hold w GrubHub for refund and waiting for order to be remade. Will update when I finally get to try the food and hopefully not have to pay twice for what was just going to be a healthy Saturday night salad with a new place ... never. It's so good a little hidden in the corner and we were hesitant but we walked in and had immediate service which was super nice. AND THE FOODDD!!! Came in for a quick lunch service was good food was not. Save your money and go to surf shack down the road i was expecting fresh but i got soggy warm avocado that was like a mush i finished the whole thing because i was starving. Randomly found this cute place. IM OBSESSED It is so cute inside. I ordered take out, I saw him working cooking everything from scratch, cutting the vegetables, and slicing the Avocado. Not to mention the presentation of the food is ART. I was beyond impressed. I posted the photo of my food on Instagram because it was just so pretty! The pricing for the food was fair, which is awesome because it's right off Atlantic Ave (usually people charge $20 for a plat because of location) You also get a very big portion size!!! I have some for leftovers I will definitely be coming back. I 100% recommend this cafe!!! It's a must! read more

A great find, wonderful vegetarian selections, wraps, shakes, all day breakfast, great salad selections and much more. Everything very fresh. Wonderfully cozy peaceful place to eat. It was our first time there but we will definitely go back. The peanut butter, banana, oatmeal, protein shake was delicious and so was the kale salad. This place is my husband and my go-to when we don't feel like cooking and just want a good, healthy meal. I honestly wish I could afford to eat here every day, I love the food so much! So delicious! I had the buddha bowl and it is one of the best vegan meals I've had in South Florida. This a must try for anyone who is vegan/vegetarian. Such a cute mostly local spot. What it lacks in ambiance, it makes up for tenfold in quality of the food. Highly recommend the hydrator as something refreshing and light. Also suggest ordering ahead or budgeting plenty of time since there's usually only one person to make all the drinks and food. So glad they opened in Delray to add to the healthy options! read more

Super disappointing... I ordered the Tex Mex Bowl, Quinoa bowl and a pineapple peach smoothie. First of all it took like 30 minutes because there was only 1 guy working there. The smoothie was good, but the quinoa bowl was mostly quinoa and the chicken on the Tex mex was not fresh and I had to throw it out. I'm super surprised. To top it off the guy was on the phone complaining about how much he worked and not getting enough money. Not 2 relaxing... Not sure I would try this spot again. read more

Good takeout. The fajita wrap was fantastic. I love that they use whole wheat tortillas. The split pea soup was good, but not really hot, more like warm. It was takeout and I don't have a microwave in my hotel room, so that was a bit disappointing. Overall a great choice - lots of healthy options here. read more

We were really excited to try their menu after looking at it online. What a disappointment. Our family of 6 got there for lunch, but their seating only provides for 12...and some guy had already put his phone down on one of the two tables that were side by side. Our server apologized for not being able to seat us all together and told us we could order takeout or come back another time. (Seriously! You're going to lose a lunch order for 6 because you can't be accomodating?) We ended up going to Mellow Mushroom down the road which was amazing. read more

This may be the best, least expensive, healthy food in Delray Beach. I rarely write reviews and eat out constantly. Eating on the road and trying to find good whole vegetarian food is not an easy task. This place has numerous options for a great meal or snack. I have had their quinoa bowls and the veggie burger wrap and they are both cooked to order from scratch. This is not a chain restaurant or franchise fad, it's an owner cooking honest healty food for you on the spot. Don't expect the nicest atmosphere in the best location, but it's a cute little cafe with outstanding food that will keep you coming back for more. read more
