The simplest explanation is "UNPROFESSIONAL" On 2 occasions, I showed up EARLY for appointments and was told I was late, because they did not come to get me until after I had been there for 10 minutes. My primary physical Therapist, Ryan Wedge, was rude and an excuse making machine. He even refused to see me one time when I had my daughter with me, because I was "late" (not my fault if he waits 20 minutes to come find me), and called me an idiot in front of her. 2 months into treatment I was barely ahead of where I started in any way. Actually I lost strength in my hand. I will say that some of the discomfort in my palm did improve, but that was 100% the doing of 1 PTA there. I will say they had one PTA there, Julia, who was very good. She did a massage to break up scar tissue in my hand that helped a lot. However, this was not part of Mr. Wedge's treatment plan. She was also patient and good at explaining what she was trying to do and why we were doing it. I highly recommend her to other employers and hope she leaves this organization.

I stopped by one afternoon and explained my situation to the woman behind the desk. She explained how it all works. All the women that work behind the counter are very nice and very helpful. Thanks to the excellent training program that the team at Global Home Fitness and the trainers (Will Hansen and Gary Murphy) and the nutrition help from the staff nutritionist, (Jocelin Lamprey) , been able to really turn around my fitness. Before, I had tried trainers before at gyms and video programs, but with the travel time and inconvenience of going to a gym at the hours I need, nothing really worked. Finally finding an at home program really helped me create the discipline and schedule that worked for me, and with that the results finally appeared. I highly recommend Golden Home because the trainers are extremely knowledgeable, they are very helpful and work hard to support you.

The office situation is professional and responsive, very easy to work with. The in-home aspect is convenient and private. I've been with them for 18 months, and now things that use to be the major labor of my day, like dragging the AC unit upstairs for the summer, are trivial. I'm stronger, healthier, less fluffy, and more confident. Strongly recommend.

However, our experience with the Kids Club has been extremely disappointing. About a year and a half ago, my son had an incident where a staff member teased him. He reacted in a playful but inappropriate way, and as a result, he was suspended for a week. At the time, he was also dealing with a serious medical condition that was affecting him neurologically, which we later came to understand may have influenced his behavior. Out of caution, he did not return to Kids Club after that incident. Now that he is doing much better, and I have returned to full-time work, I recently attempted to bring him back--only to be told that he is permanently banned. The reason given was a Facebook comment I had made at the time describing our experience. I made multiple attempts to have a calm, reasonable conversation with staff to revisit the situation, especially given the time that has passed and my son's improved health. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to reconsider. This puts us in a very difficult position. As a working parent, I rely on the Kids Club in order to use the gym. Without access to childcare, we are now faced with canceling a membership we've maintained for years--not because we want to, but because we no longer have a way to utilize the facility. What's most concerning is the lack of empathy and accountability in how this situation has been handled. I sincerely hope the club takes a closer look at how interactions with children are managed, and how situations like this are resolved, so that other families don't have a similar experience.

They updated the dumbells and tvs and added a turf area in the past year. The pulley towers are ancient and almost always have at least 1 station broken, broken clips/pins, 7.5# weights that don't work well, bars with sharp burrs, etc... Outdated. Missing many machines that modern gyms have. For abour $70/month one would expect better. Seems more geared towards families with kids and elderly. Always adding on new fees and trying to sell extras.
