Vegan 2175. J and J's Peanut Butter Pie

Vibe of this place is like a cozy home cooked meal! So many different options that are all locally sourced, organic, and super delicious. I got the pumpkin soup, luncheon pizza, cheddar broiled chicken, and the peanut butter pie. Every course of the meal was nicely presented and tasted perfect. This place is great for visiting as they have many options for different diet needs. The chef and owner himself, Eliot, even came out and gave some history of the restaurant. 100% recommend!!!!

The legend owner cook Eliot Fiks for 42 years at Whole in the Wall

Just went there a couple nights with my son and we loved the food and atmosphere. Quiet chill relaxing place. Great homemade food by the legend himself - Eliot Fiks. He's been a cooking force for 42 years with farm to table fresh food approach. My favorite meals are pesto pasta, the pita pocket sandwiches, mushroom soup, shrimp scampi and love love the babaganoush appetizer. My first time there was on opening night 1980 and 42 years later Eliot still rocks. Definitely always ahead of his times. Make reservations or call to get a table for a tasty meal on a Friday or Saturday. Support local for a tasty homemade meal.

Excellent food with an extensive menu. Everything made to order. The tempura onion rings are outstanding with a wonderful tamari/ginger dipping sauce. Fabulous mushroom soup.

This place is a gem!!! The food is made with a lot of care and the flavors were delicious. The hummus was extremely fresh, the falafel was not overly breaded and had fantastic flavor. The chicken fingers were crunchy and perfectly tender inside. The steamed vegetables with chicken and tofu were also flavored perfectly and had a nice sauce accompanying it. The service was terrific. You can tell they put a lot of pride into the food they make! Will definitely be returning. It's just a few steps from a EV fast charger and definitely worth the stop!!!

Paid $8 for a whole wheat bagel with butter that they couldn't even put on the bagel for me, they placed it on the side. Enough said. Over-priced and lazy.

Take out Falafel pocket

This was the worst experience I had on my takeout order of falafel pocket. I have written over two hundred reviews and this one is the lowest of all . Falafel are the balls of green chick peas which are usually fried when you order your sandwich so that they are hot and crunchy / crispy then they add other veggies.. you guessed it they were not fried but cold .. yes I opened the order when reached home too late.. so what we learn here is always make sure your falafel patties/balls are hot..prices on menu at yelp was wrong so check prices when you call

Mushroom soup and a hungry Cairn Terrier, don't worry she didn't get any

Delicious and unusually good quality food. A great place to relax and unwind. Good service but best not to be in a rush.

Searching for a local spot in Binghamton, I stumbled upon the Lost Dog Cafe on the Internet. The…read morereviews boasted quality food in an eccentric atmosphere. This lovely lounge did not disappoint. When I walked through the old doors, I entered a unique atmosphere with a mix of old timey and retro punk vibes. Since I was on my own, I asked for a table for one, fully aware that my heart was set on a bar stool. The bar spot turned out to be perfect for people-watching and a Yuzo Peach Collins. Served in the perfect glass, the Collins was definitely a balance of flavors. Since the vodka rigatoni is what peaked my curiosity, that is what I ordered. It was phenomenal. I decided to go with the "old-school" version at the encouragement of my server, which included Cayenne pepper. It came out perfectly spiced and piping hot. I also decided to start with a Caesar salad. The lettuce was super cold and crisp, and the dressing was served on the side so I could moderate it for myself. Log Dog Cafe is just what the doctor ordered after long day of touring campus. If you want an authentic experience with a positive vibe, pop in the check it out!

We came towards the end of the lunch rush (1-2PM?) and were seated immediately. The ambiance is hip and buzzy, with lots of colorful decor. The menu had some very tempting options, even for vegetarians. We started with the buffalo brussel sprouts, a stroke of genius. I'd never thought about dousing this tasty veggie in hot sauce and blue cheese, but it makes sense. This was a very tasty app, and the sprouts were roasted perfectly with crispy outer skins which provided the crunch needed for a good buffalo dish. The special that day was some kind of french dip sandwich which one of my dining companions got. Another one got a cajun catfish sandwich and graciously offered me a bite. It was flavorful. For my main, I got the spring roll bowl and decided to add tofu. It had noodles, peanuts, a sweet thai chili sauce, and lots of veggies. It was MASSIVE. Prices are a little high but the portions definitely made it worth it. I could have taken half home as leftovers if I'd wanted. The restaurant also has a coffee bar which we decided last minute to partake in instead of venturing out into the rain to find a different cafe. This was such a convenient option because we didn't have to fight to find parking or brave the weather to go to a second location. I did a pistachio latte. Someone else at my table got a Mexican hot chocolate. I treated myself to the homemade whipped cream. The coffee hit the spot. Throughout the whole experience the staff was wonderful. Our food came out quickly, and the servers were very friendly and joking with us. I'd come back if I was in the area.

It was quiet when we arrived, but more customers were streaming in by the time we left, many of whom seemed to be regulars and have a good relationship with the staff. Our waitress and the other staff were all really sweet. Besides their food menu, which caters to a variety of tastes and diets, they also have a cocktail menu, and extensive wine and tea menus. I really like that they can do lattes made to order (hot or iced, sweet or unsweetened) with any of the teas they offer - I got a tea latte with the Chocolate Cream Truffles tea. It was very pretty to look at (topped with foam and dusted with cocoa powder) and also tasted nice and smooth. My Tempeh Reuben and side of Kale Slaw were so good! All the individual components of the sandwich were tasty and together they were perfectly balanced. I was just so excited to see this on the menu because I love the Swiss cheese/kraut/sauce combination of the traditional Reuben but can't have the meat, so I was very happy to be able to enjoy it with tempeh. I had a taste of my dad's vegetarian chili too. It was very tasty and a little sweeter than most chilis which was interesting. I had a vegan chocolate cupcake for dessert. This was less "interesting" than the rest of the food I got but still good. The shredded coconut on top was a nice touch. Definitely a place I'd visit again! They also have dinner specials and occasional special brunches which I'd love to check out sometime.

I like this place. Lots of vegan options. Good coffee. Cute vibe. Friendly service. Affordable.read more
