It gets chilly, so they provide throw blankets, or you can bring your own. They can handle 12 at a time, and at one time there were probably six of us, which seemed busy to me, but not to the lady at the front desk, apparently, because she let my sister and me stay an extra hour since they weren't busy. Almost immediately, my stomach started gurgling, which isn't uncommon since the whole thing is supposed to help with digestion. Also, my torn rotator started hurting immediately, too. It stopped after a while. The two hours went by super fast. Almost everyone sleeps. Don't try this if you can't be still or be quiet. No phones allowed. I also noticed that everyone gets up to pee at some point, so it definitely works on detoxing! Mostly older people, but one person younger than me. Also since it was our first time, the lady at the desk gave us a complimentary bag of bath salts recommended to use in the first 24 hours after your session. I'll do mine tonight and report back. I already know I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight. Clean, quiet. Nice staff. It's difficult to rate the effectiveness of the experience, because it's nothing you feel immediately or can definitively equate to the experience. But I'm a believer, in general and would try it again.

As with the other two, you have to pay a membership fee to join, then there is an additional fee to relax in the space with the ee system. You can do that all online before you get there to save time. The space is set up in a circle with 12 zero gravity chairs. Each chair has a throw on it, so you can cover up and go to sleep. Most people brought their own pillows and blankets to be extra comfy. It's cool in there, so bringing additional blankets is a good idea. You might also want to bring an eye covering. It's darkish, but not so dark that you can't see. They run a white noise machine. Some find that soothing. Others find it distracting. It's a shoeless space, so wear fluffy socks so your feet don't get cold. You will want to bring water to stay hydrated, but if you forget, they have some. It's a comfortable space. No talking is allowed, so you should have no problem relaxing and snoozing. As for results, well, all three times, my tummy gurgled. I felt relaxed. I feel cleaner. Not on the outside, but on the inside. I'd go again.

Maybe it is purely coincidence, or maybe this is legit, but she didn't cough once while we were in the salt cave and her cough cleared up and hasn't come back since we went in February. I liked this place because of how peaceful it was to sit in a nice, glowy room and chill out in a reclining chair with a blanket for an hour-ish, but I love that it really seemed to help my little one breathe better. I'm sold. It's also pretty cool that the first person essentially rents the room for $20, then you can bring up to 3 other people and they are only $10 each. Discounted rate so the room doesn't just sit empty with you, nice! I do wish they had a more accessible entrance though, wooden stairs only, so they do not appear to be walker or wheelchair or even stroller accessible.

I've been wanting to try Quench eversince I heard about them several months ago, and I finally took the plunge today and got the Meyers Cocktail, which "improves symptoms related to numerous conditions including migraines, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, sinusitis, and PMS." I don't have any of those things, but who doesn't need a dose of super B complex, vitamin C, B12, magnesium, calcium? The studio is decorated with a blue palette... cool tones... not sure that was a good idea since IV drips make you cold anyway. But it's comfortable. You sit in huge, plush recliner chairs while the IV drips into your veins. Comfortable. It takes about 30-45 minutes. No real pain or discomfort. I can't say I feel any different than I did before I came in other than when I came in, I was thirsty, and when I left, I wasn't. I peed right before and had to pee again almost immediately after. So I do think it helped with hydration. I think if I were actually sick--a cold, tired, hungover or jet lagged--then I'd feel results. Or at least I'd like to think I would. I may try a B12 shot in the future. That should make an impact regardless, right? Pleasant staff of RNs and NPs. They'll come to you if you have an IV party... bridal groups or what have you. I had my first appointment today! It was a consultation, and this is the first time I've ever been…read moreto a chiropractor where they took x-rays. It seems so obvious now that it would be part of the plan of care yet, I've never had it done. Also during my appointment, I received electrotherapy and had a mild adjustment and then laid on a rolling table! Much more than I thought I was going to get at a consultation appointment. I have my follow up appointment tomorrow to discuss the findings of the x-ray and determine the treatment plan. This is never been the case at any other chiropractor I've been to. Other places do a visual exam and then an adjustment and tell you to come back for another apt..no real plan which was the exact opposite of what I experienced here! Top-notch service. Friendly.
