We decided to eat at Wholey Granoly because of the variety of choices. I had the Pineapple Sriracha bowl and it was really good. I'd definitely recommend and order it again. For the steak omelette and sandwich the steak was a little tough and was a little odd with the shape being in balls. The sandwich could have had more flavor and sauce/juice and the omelette could have used a little more flavor as well. The burger was good. Loved the ambiance and the service was really great! Pretty sad. Don't know the area, asked Yelp for advice and wound up here. The sign at the door apologizing for the busted air conditioning should have been enough. But we decided to give them a shot anyway. We walked in to a lobby/hostess area devoid of staff until we startled a young lady coming from the back. We were directed to the hostess station and were met by a young man who seated us in a booth.. 15 minutes later, after the wife freshened up and we watched a party who was seated a while after us get served, we bounced. This gem sits in the middle of a parking lot right outside of IKEA. It is easy to miss but the food doesn't miss. They have two options: takeout express or dine in. The dine in experience was stellar. The vibe inside if that of a green and rustic look. All the tables are scattered and they have booths as well. There are many options for healthy eating and vegan options. First, the smoothies. They have a wide selection of flavors to choose from that come with nutritional options and with protein options. I ordered the peanut butter chocolate smoothie and it was a great flavorful option compared to the standard smoothies and was fresh. The peanut butter and chocolate flavors came thru nicely. I also ordered the chorizo omelette with plant based meat. The eggs were light and fluffy packed with spices and flavor. The meat was tender and loads of veggies inside. It came with crispy potatoes that were seasoned and got the special berry pancakes with it. The pancakes were super fresh and healthy. They were not too sugary and had loads of fresh fruit on them. Wholey granoley is my go-to breakfast place for the holidays (they're open on Christmas + Thanksgiving). All the servers are super nice and the food always comes out decently quick. This past visit I got the Peach Melba French toast which was good, but just a tad bit too sweet for my liking. I'd definitely recommend the Chorizo Benedict if you're looking for a filling, savory option. As someone with allergies I absolutely love all the options here! On a trip and was very excited to find this spot. The presentation and taste was amazing. If you have multiple allergies I would avoid the app and communicate with a human. I have a gluten and mammal allergy (alpha gal). I ordered GF/vegan peach melba and listed my allergies at the bottom of the screen. When I received my food it had whipped cream which I assumed was vegan. I got sick immediately after eating it. This is a great brunch spot in the Boilingbrook area! I loved how airy and light the whole restaurant looked and we got sat right away in a big booth for 3. We ordered our food and drinks right away and the server was on top of it taking care of us. I got their yummy protein nut smoothie which consisted of banana, peanut butter, walnuts, hemp seeds, turbinado sugar, and almond milk. I also tried their Brazilian steak skillet with really tender beef tenderloin slices, chimichurri sauce, onions, etc. over delicious potatoes. We had the speciality gingerbread pancakes and the Caprese Eggs Benedict. I tell you I would have licked the plate clean. The tomatoes on my caprese along with the balsamic was wonderfully bright and the pancakes were properly spiced to be a true representation of the holiday treat. Yezabel was a delightful server who took care of us well. The atmosphere it plain but clean and the prices are quite reasonable at $12-17 per plate. My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy, and neither of us was a fan. The biscuits weren't very good, and the gravy was kind of bland. They also forgot her potatoes, but they did offer to make her some, so that doesn't affect my rating. The menu is extensive and I couldn't make up my mind between the breakfast and lunch offerings. My friend said their skillets are good so I ended up getting the country fried chicken skillet. I like that the potatoes are diced and not the typical hash. I'm weirdly picky about my fried potatoes so I was glad that these were cooked perfectly with plenty of seasoning. The chicken was flavorful and the gravy was a perfect complement to the eggs. It also came with a choice of pancakes or english muffin so naturally I got the pancakes. We've been here twice and both times we've had incredible service! The food could not be any fresher, and you can taste the love in every bite. I can tell the ingredients are freshly chopped.
